This is a great store to wander through and just get lost for a little while. It's organized by…read morecolor and theme so you really do have to look at everything because what you're looking for might be on a differently themed (colored) table than your initial thought. But it's a fun place and the gifting options are endless. I have a friend with a Christmas tree completely covered in food ornaments (former chef) and I found her an avocado toast ornament to add to her collection. Grabbed a Lizzie Post Weed Etiquette book for a former-debutante-current-stoner friend, and a bunch of other oddly specific items to fit my needs. All with a glass of champagne in hand and a smile on my face.

I want to start with the fact that this is my first "bad" review ever. I never leave reviews…read morebecause I don't think putting negative reviews out there is benefiting anyone. However, I thought I should say this. To start, this gift shop is absolutely adorable and has so many options. However, both times I have gone, the older woman that works there stands right behind me and watches me shop. The first time, I let it go because I understand I have tattoos up my arm and in this neighborhood that might not be common. But this time, I came with my husband who has gauges, and she stood right behind us and stared at us as we shopped again and it really made me uncomfortable. There were multiple people in the store and it felt as if she assumed we were stealing. Did not feel like she tried to hide it at all. The first time I was there I spent like 120 dollars and this time about 90. It really sucks because I like this shop but I don't appreciate being followed around.

The vibes in this place is waaaayy off! Honestly do not come here. I'm a woman of color and the…read moremoment I walked in I felt negativity. I was followed around by three different employees constantly asking me if I needed help and staring me down. Even if I look at the situation differently they don't even allow people the space, freedom or even privacy to choose what they need themselves or the chance to ask for help if they need it. Instead they all hound you down like you're in a clothing department store and make you feel uncomfortable. Especially the guy working there with the gray/white hair was orchestrating all of the employees around. Another reviewer mentioned this and yes there is a strong atmosphere of intolerance, paranoia, judgement and deeper under lining issues. I was standing in line behind a gentleman and when it was my turn at the counter, the guy with the gray/white hair told the lady working the counter to leave the counter and told another lady to come check me out which was odd and he had a very nasty look on his face. Then the lady at the counter asked me if I had a membership and I said no, She then says "ok don't worry we are not pushy" and then proceeds to laugh and say "at least I don't think so". They know exactly what they are doing. If a spiritual store is worried about people stealing or whatever then they you are NOT the real deal and it is a reflection of who they are and what they are actually doing. If you are alarmed or uncomfortable by a women of color coming into your shop while your shop is named Goddess/Isis you should NOT be in business! This place is not sacred or safe. Buy your stuff online or go to a place with integrity, a place that has respect and honors spirituality and people, all people. Avoid this place and do not support this business.

There are watchdogs everywhere. It is not a calming experience. It is a place that you go to if you want to get roughed up by all the wanderingstore clerks. Who ask you if you need help every three minutes and put out a vibe of get your shopping done and get out of here. I used to go to this place and relax I would always buy a few things and feel very good about my experience. Now it's like walking into a Walmart, that is the vibe that is there now it makes me sad to say it but this is what it's like.

Definitely a great place to find cute gifts especially if you are thinking of females in mind…read more It's so nice to have this location in my own DTC/Hampden South neighborhood. I had always seen the one on University which recently moved to Gaylord (if I'm not mistaken); this Hampden location appears to be the newest addition. Selection was great and wide range. Each section/table has a theme behind it (like wine and cheese for instance; there was even a section for Taylor Swift!!) I have to admit; some items are a bit pricey (I saw a cheese knife that was so good-looking but it was almost $40!! Ouch ) I took the time to look around though because I wanted to find something nice to buy. What I ended up buying was a book about cheese. I spotted a few books about wine but since I already know so much about wine I just opted for the cheese book only. And it was only $9! Service was good and friendly. I remember being greeted by a lady named Hannah (I believe. She welcomed me.) I'll definitely go back and shop here especially when or if I'm looking for a nice gift for one of my female friends. Thanks, Wish Gifts for opening this new location; welcome to the neighborhood!

TO say I am obsessed with this place, is an understatement!…read more I popped in looking for a birthday a present for my friend and sister and easily purchased the entire store because everything and I mean EVERYTHING is so cute! It's a little easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer volume of goods, but the store is arranged by occasion and color which makes for a bright and cheery way to explore the store - which literally holds anything you could want. Stafff is so friendly, welcoming and complimentary in conversation and the day I ventured in, they were offering free mimosas and girl talk! so fun! Pricing totally depends on the goods selected but quality is outstanding and totally worth it :) I ended up with some great cards and will easily be back for more items!
