Everyone there is pleasant, welcoming, kind, and seem to genuinely enjoy being there. It's hard to calm dental anxiety, but the level of care and peacefulness the office brings is refreshing and so welcome. I walked out of my cleaning today and said "I am so glad I switched to this office!" Highly recommend if you are in need of a new place. The ONLY thing that can be tough is that parking can be tricky if you have a larger vehicle. That said there are many nearby lots within a short walking distance if the office lot is full.

They took me right away as a new patient, and even sat on the phone with me while driving to help me find the place. My previous dentist had told me I probably had a cracked tooth. This dentist had a different explanation (which I questioned thoroughly after the last dentist). But sure enough, I followed his advice and within days my tooth pain subsided. Dr Lucia had performed the initial phase of a dental implant procedure. At no time had he…read moreexplained 1) the steps of the procedure 2) the duration of the process 3) a cost estimate for the procedure. At the start of the second step, I expressed my concerns about the lack of communication. I offered a simple solution (one that is used by every online description of the process, I have since learned). He immediately became defensive and refused to continue with the procedure, thus leaving me with a large hole in my dentition. This had been a quiet adult conversation, despite his defensiveness until he refused to proceed. I believe that his behavior was highly immature and unprofessional. Clearly, he is not open to expressions of concerns or suggestions. Dr. Lucia is a mediocre dentist at best. His first concern is money. The implant procedure would have cost over $9000 at completion. That is far higher than other local dentists. His communication skills are horrible. He sneaks in behind you and doesn't say a word until he is standing over you. His failure to communicate about the implant process is simply an example of his shortcomings. Today, 22 days after the incident, I received registered letter stating that I had been "expelled " from his practice because of a "breakdown in the professional relationship ". Totally unnecessary. Simply reinforces a decision that I had already made.

His office has a nice relaxing waiting room and his staff is very welcoming and friendly. Sue did my X-rays and cleaning. She's great. Chatted with me which I like because it distracts me! Dr. O'Keefe stopped in and was his usual self! Talked hockey and jokes were made. I did miss his humor and gentle touch dealing with my tooth that's needing some work. There may be some pain but he will do his best to minimize it. I recommend Dr. O'Keefe for your dental needs. My family agrees and sees him also.

He asked me exactly what caused my anxiety and then decided to divide up services into 2 appointments in order to get me in and out as quickly as possible. As long as you communicate what you need and what you are uncomfortable with, Dr. Litvinov will make sure he addresses your concerns. In addition, this is not an office that is buzzing with a ton of people. I love that it is in an intimate setting (his office is attached to his home), and that he is the only dentist there. When I was there, there were a total of 3-4 people there at all times. This provides a calmer experience. In addition, I went to this same office as a child and saw the dentist who was here before him--I never should have left! He is fabulous. Oh! And his admin--Judy--is super friendly and helpful.
