The elevator always smells disinfected and the apartment is usually very clean. I lived on the top floor facing the freeway, and the noise cancelling isn't the best. However, it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I got a foot surgery and was disabled for a good 9 weeks. I lived here alone, and the kind team always offered a lot of help even when I was too shy to ask for it. The management is definitely a 5 star here. Peter in particular is so kind and such a gentleman always. I enjoyed the location since it is right next to the freeway, but you do hear the freeway (Give and take). The repairs were always done within a day and I really didn't have any major issues that made me feel uncomfortable. Give it a tour if you're looking for a nice apartment to stay in. Pre pandemic, the apartment would organize events for tenants to gather also which was really cool. I rented a one bedroom facing the freeway and I will really miss the view of the freeway.

The staff is stellar, and we were always happy to greet and be greeted by Peter, Maher and Josue. Whenever we needed something, the staff would respond immediately and provide the necessary service. The amenities are also great and always clean and well-maintained. Package delivery was well-oiled, and the staff was always handling deliveries to make sure people got their packages. Pre-Covid the leasing staff put together frequent social events that helped tenants meet each other. We enjoyed wine classes, yoga sessions, Super Bowl, happy hours, etc. We were able to make friends with some of our neighbors which was a huge plus.

When we arrived, the apartment was exceptionally clean and well-prepared. It was equipped with the essential amenities needed for comfortable daily living. Having an in-unit washer and dryer is a wonderful bonus and adds great convenience. We also appreciate how safe, quiet, and peaceful the community feels. The property is well-maintained, and it is clear that management takes pride in keeping the apartment and surrounding areas in excellent condition. Overall, our experience has been very positive, and we are grateful to have found such a comfortable and welcoming place to call home. We would gladly recommend this apartment community to others.

Smart keypads to the doors are also very efficient and not worried if you lose your keys. Garage spaces are conveniently located in ground level and basement. I worked in the financial district so BART was also key factor in choosing La Terraza. It is fairly quiet and peaceful so perfect as I am retired now. The staff at La Terraza are amazingly helpful and quick to respond to maintenance issues in my apartment. That is also the other reason for appreciating my home. Karen is outstanding and very helpful with regards to Administration. She is a veteran and expert in this business and knows her stuff inside and out. Additionally, other workers/members of the staff are to be commended for their hard work and responding to maintenance requests. They are Jose, Alejandro, Mory (who got transferred to Fremont branch) and Anna who works hard to maintain the cleanliness of the whole complex. BRAVO! One final shoutout goes to Michelle Pham who helped me with my affordable housing unit. She is excellent and a rockstar with regards to AHP. Onwards and upwards to all. May God bless this community always.

These apartments are located right across from Westmoor High. There is a really bad rats infestation that they are taking forever to address. There are all kinds of insects sneaking into apartments including flies, spiders, and so much more. If you call for maintenance with issues they will take days to show up. We used to pay a handyman out of our own pocket to fix issues like water leaks, non working appliances, drain issues, etc. The hallways smell really bad, their laundry rooms are disgustingly dirty, and there are multiple issues with their roofs. Most tenants are complaining of water leaks coming from their roofs. On top of that they decided to charge for outside parking which was always free. Do not even consider living here. We can't wait for our contract to expire next month to move out.

I offered my id and passport and I even offered to come in with my social security card to show proof. But I made it clear I was uncomfortable with sending over a copy of my social security card. On the application portal there was no social security card id needed. He sent an email "test" and told me to send it there. That is not a safe or secured place to send something so private. For reassurance, I asked a resident there and they said they didn't need a copy of socials security to identify. I've applied to many apartments, not once have I ever been asked for something so personal on an unprofessional level. I asked to speak with manager he didn't not connected me, I'm certain Samuel had bad intentions. 1st red flag: needing a copy of my SOCIAL SECURTY card 2nd red flag: insisting that was the only way to identify myself when there's clearly other forms of ID 3rd red flag: he needed a copy via EMAIL without a subject or a secured portal! 4th red flag: I asked for a formal portal to submit it like when you submit your id or pay stub. He said not available

From the beginning, they have been kind, extremely helpful and patient. My boyfriend and I just had a baby, but we moved in a month prior and Dj and Margaret made it so easy to get everything in order. I really had no issues. When we needed any maintenance work, the maintenance crew were responsive, provided resolution, or work around when the solution wasn't immediate. The community is clean, neighbors are (mostly) sweet and respectful. My dog loved being able to walk over to the dog park provided. Just an overall great living experience. The apartment was great too! Despite the millennial grey walls, my place was given to me clean, with freshly cleaned carpet, clean walls, updated appliance, plenty of closet/shelf space, and with a single parking. We had two cars but for the most part always found an extra parking spot. My neighbors were also for the most part very quiet. Whenever we did talk, it was always pleasant. Dogs in the neighborhood were also clean, rarely ever barking. I'm really going to miss living here and being able to talk to staff every time we crossed paths. Thank you thank you thank you team. Dj, Margaret, Andre and all of the maintenance crew. Truly the best!

I understand there is the one reserved parking spot and the permit you can get, but there is still not enough parking spaces to fit everyone, and also we are threatened of being towed if we don't move our car with a parking permit every three days?? This was how it was over a year ago, hopefully they changed it by then or the leasing consultant just told me incorrect information. If we missed unintentionally miss a payment, we are locked out of the portal to be able to pay it. Then we cannot pay it in person neither, however we're being demanded to pay the rent but it is made to be very difficult. Overall our experience here has been pleasant. We enjoy the quiet and the privacy offered here, however the rent goes up every year it seems making it not worth it. We want to move somewhere more affordable, with nicer weather and get a change of scenery. If I were to list the cons, parking here is bad, the handling of missed payments is horrible, the washer and dryers are bad and do not work half the time. Be careful when you move out because they'll try to say you owe a lot of money for damages or renovations. The location was nice for privacy and being close to things.

I initially inquired about this apartment because the advertised rent appeared affordable…read more Unfortunately, after learning more about the additional fees and experiencing the leasing process firsthand, I was extremely disappointed. First, the parking situation is unreasonable. Charging $250 per month for parking is excessive, and on top of that, residents are expected to pay an additional annual fee for a parking permit without any guarantee of having a parking space available every day. Paying for parking without guaranteed access simply does not make sense and adds significant hidden costs to what appears to be an affordable apartment. My experience with the leasing office was equally frustrating. I scheduled an apartment tour earlier in the week and received multiple text reminders confirming my appointment for June 6 at 2:00 PM. However, when we arrived at the leasing office, we were informed that there was no apartment available to show us. When I pointed out that I had just received a text reminder confirming the appointment, the staff member blamed the issue on having no internet connection that day and stated that their phone system operates through the internet. This explanation did not seem reasonable given the multiple confirmations that had been sent. Instead of providing the tour we had scheduled, we were simply offered pricing information for one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. While we agreed to review the pricing, that conversation revealed just how many additional fees are attached to living here. The overall experience left me with the impression that attracting applicants is a higher priority than providing transparency and value to prospective residents. Between the excessive parking costs, questionable parking policies, and the mishandled tour appointment, this community is not a place I would recommend to friends or family.

They refused to give them to us, even though they are addressed to us and obviously misdelivered. Then they say "oh we don't have them" despite photographed evidence. Next is "oh we can't find them". They claimed to have sent them back, although we went to them the very next morning. Asking how did they send them back, they stated with a driver. This being with me going to when their package room opened for business hours, and no delivery came yet, and the delivery in question happened the night before right as they were closing. So did Santa come and get them overnight? Especially when I see several boxes marked RTS right there? Obviously very shady management and company. Not good people at all. Not even good neighbors. Probably keeping packages for themselves.
