During the past 2 years I have called first thing in the morning to make an appointment when i wasn't feeling well and have been told on every occasion that there are no appointments available that day. Today is a snowy day and people must have cancelled but nope, nothing available today! They told me I would meet with the surgeon in a few days after the swelling subsided to schedule surgery. I was also told I could work my normal 8 hour shift. While working wearing the boot I was put in and having my foot down for 3 hours my foot swelled so much that edema blisters formed. No one ever called to schedule the follow up with the surgeon. The advice I was given was terrible and the care was non existent. I truly believe I am in a situation that is worse then when the actual incident occurred that injured my foot to begin with. These people are DANGEROUS!
