I have several sets of mixing bowls I bought last year & I especially love my set of graters. Cheese, butter, chocolate, nutmeg, carrots, cabbage, I'm always grating something haha. Communication was great and workers always showed up when scheduled. Every detail was taken care of by the crews. Site was cleaned daily before the workday was over. The final product is truly something that changed the feel of our home. We are proud to show off their craftsmanship. We were pleasantly surprised when the owner Gary would stop in to check the progress and ensure everything was up to his standards. Reef Runner handled our project unprofessionally, communicated poorly, and wasted over a year of our time. I wouldn't trust them to install a light bulb in my house. In April 2025, I contacted Reef Runner to build a steel building in my backyard. I wanted a one-stop shop and was happy to support a local business. As an active-duty military member expecting our first child, we needed the extra space. I received a quote for about $55,000 and paid a 10% deposit in May. From there, everything fell apart. Their salesperson, Jericho, almost ordered a building from a company we had specifically said we did not want to use because of its terrible reputation. That mistake alone cost months. Throughout the process, getting updates or timelines was like pulling teeth, and we constantly had to chase him for basic information. Then, in December 2025, Jericho asked when my last quote was. When I told him May, he replied, "Oh boy," and sent a revised quote for nearly $90,000. He admitted he had been collecting additional costs all along but never shared them, leaving us blindsided. I escalated the issue to the sales manager, Brian, and the owner, Gary. Both acknowledged the project had been mishandled, apologized, and assured me they would personally take over, "make us a priority", and "take care of the military." Unfortunately, nothing changed. Working with Brian was more of the same: poor communication, no timelines, and no progress. Eventually, he blamed the manufacturer for delays and even copied me on emails so I could coordinate directly. Ironically, when I contacted the manufacturer myself, we exchanged multiple emails within an hour, making it clear the communication issues weren't on their end. After roughly 15 months, Reef Runner had held my deposit and I was no closer to having a building than the day I started. I finally requested my deposit back and decided to handle the project myself. I cannot recommend Reef Runner for any project. If you're looking for professionalism, communication, and accountability, I would look elsewhere.

The last time anyone was at the site was June 2020, after repeated phone calls and inquiries. No one has returned to the work site since June. Jansen Kitchen and Bath has been paid in full for this job because of good faith handshake by contractor and the homeowner that they would return.

The staff made sure my experience was different than buying a dinner dress. Instead, we discussed plumbing, use, and durability. They even helped coordinate colors and accessories - none of which involve their products (unless you want a colored commode I guess). After with their help, I made my choices, they held the stuff. Why? So when my "man" picked it up I would get a builder discount. Nice. I think they deliver as well - everything is ordered. Doing business was easy. Shopping there is almost as fun as patio furniture/grill/new mattress shopping.

It took MANY unreturned calls to finally find out who our contact rep was for the project and she was slow to return calls or just texted a brief message. The project was poorly planned and mismanaged and had too many delays to even count. Communication with us and between the staff was incredibly poor. It was stressful and took 3 times longer than it should have.
