It's a very traditional bed & breakfast inn in Tyrol. We stayed here for two nights as we explored the Lake Region of Salzburg. The owner was very personable and friendly. We had some nice conversations with him during our stay especially at breakfast time (he was in charge of it).
Breakfast buffet is excellent with meat and cheese plate, rolls and bread basket already set up at your table. If you wanted more meet and/or cheese, you could ask for it. What we had on our plate were more than enough for us. It started at 0730 (and it started at 0730 not a minute earlier).
There's no in-house restaurant here, but there's one just next door with very good traditional Austrian meals (I reviewed it separately: Gasthof Botenwirt). It's very convenient since you can just walk to the next door.
Great sleep quality with comfortable queen-sized bed in a somewhat spacious (by the European standard) and very clean room.
It was overall very good stay here. It's really a gem of a place in this mountain area. read more
