He booked for 2 hours through U-Haul (U-Haul served as an escrow). 2 movers (brothers - I wish I caught their names) came to help, right on time and got to work. They had a clear plan of how to pack the items, the order, ensured we had the proper equipment, asked what was supposed to go & what wasn't, what pile of items were fragile, and got to work immediately. They are like the Mary Poppins of packing a truck! They used the full space of the truck; no waste of space whatsoever. Everything was so secure, well padded, and loaded with caution. It was like 95 degrees out and they were moving so fast, unfazed by the heat or the work. These 2 movers have been doing this for years and it shows. They were so fast, professional, and friendly!! We are so grateful that we had them as movers. If you need a move, definitely book them! They are well worth your time and money. The price was also realistic and was underpriced compared to the quality I was given. They were extremely transparent with the procedure, and showed photos along the way. I had no problems contacting them and they were always super quick to respond to any of my questions or concerns. They also were able to update me on where my cars location was. Boston Auto Transport was fast to pick up my car too! Being a broke college student, it being affordable is very important to me. And luckily for me they offer really competitive price per mile. Since this is a big sell for me, I am very concerned on my car. They were extremely reassuring since they showed me pictures of my car and how they transport it. I did not receive an email confirmation just a message on the screen saying my permit was being processed. The Sunday prior to my move I still had not been contacted by anyone. I was headed out of town for business and this time went directly to my states website to look up parking permits for moves. Found the information and purchased my permit for $41. On Monday, 9/9 I was contacted by an Alma Cruz. She did not introduce herself or explain what she was contacting me in regards to. I was at work and reading these emails from my phone and unfortunately assumed it was the city contacting me as I had just pulled my permit the night before. She was asking me a bunch of q's and we went back and forth and finally she said I was all set. I was never informed how much anything would cost, next steps, nothing. When I got home I noticed a charge for $41. I was confused because I had already been charged $41 the night before for my permit. Then I got a charge for $222 from a company called Porch. WTF? I was very confused I looked at the vague invoice which only says Customer Payment on it. Doesn't say what it is for company information nothing. I then connected the dots. Reached out to Alma and explained that I had already purchased my permit and don't need their service as I had reached out over a week ago and never heard from anyone. She said it was too late because they already bought the permit. I said I was fine to pay the $41 for the permit but don't need their service and she had someone else reach out and tell me it was too late. They do 10 min of work and are charging over $200 they should let folks know prior to being charged what they do and how much it is going to cost. The pricing is NOT transparent. I'm disputing it through my bank and with the BBB but do yourself a favor and pull the permit yourself its not hard. Message me and I can help you out. I'll even pull it for you it takes 10 minutes and not worth the headache or $222 you're going to be charged for their "work." None of the people that were in touch with me matched her people that I actually spoke to. I placed an order on 11/20/24 for a Boston parking permit needed from 12/17-12/19. I was moving…read morefrom another state, and needed someone in town to secure the permit for my moving pod. I spent the entire week prior to when I needed the permit trying to get an update from Permit Puller. There had ben zero communication from then since I placed the order. I FINALLY got someone to confirm for me on 12/13, that they had received the permits and would get them up the same day. The permits were not put up until a couple days later. Luckily, this was just in the nick of time. I took down the permits myself, although I had placed the order to have Permit Pullers do it, because I didn't trust they would and I didn't want a fee from the City for tardy permit removal. Then came the payment. When you place your order, it doesn't tell you how much the service will cost. I was invoiced $109 on 12/16 and paid it. Then, yesterday, on 1/8, I was sent an invoice for $249, with them saying their payment system screwed up and I now owe them $140. There really isn't an alternative competing service to use but, if you can, avoid using Permit Puller. Whatever headache/stress you'll be saving by not having to go get your own permit will only result in a series of other headaches/stresses.

Dropped on 8/9 in Cambridge, Mass. Told it would take 4-5 days to arrive. It took 13!!! Picked up on 8/13. Scheduled delivery 8/19 in DFW. Delivered on 8/22 after over 50+ calls & texts from us...trying to figure out where our car is. DreamLine was NO HELP AT ALL! DREAMLINE TOLD US TO CONTACT THE DRIVER IF WE WANT ANSWERS...THEY CAN'T HELP US! Gee thanks! Driver being "reprimanded for lack of communication and unnecessary delays". Texted driver and he said it will be tomorrow (8/22). Called Dreamline again. He is trying to get it to us by 5pm today. Talked to driver again. He said it will be after 12 tomorrow. Driver aiming to deliver by 1145am tomorrow. 8/22 - 9am Driver is in Memphis, but had promised delivery this morning!!! Call back in 3 hours. He said he waited too long on another client to drop off their car! That caused the delay. Tentative time today btwn 430-530pm at grocery store near our home. Called driver at 2pm, he did not answer. Dispatch said per their tracker, he was in Texarkana...3 hrs away. 8/22 Continued - Driver was told to meet us at the grocery store parking lot near our home. He never verified address and told me to meet him there at 6:15pm. I arrived and he was not there! He kept saying he was there and unloading cars. Come to find out, he was over 45 minutes away, unloading our car in the wrong city. DreamLine Logistics gave him the wrong address and wrong name of where to drop our car and who to give it to. He was about to give OUR car to the WRONG person!!! DreamLine is not a dream, they are a complete NIGHTMARE!!!! So then the driver said he would bring the car to me. He had to re load all the cars and will head my way. That was at 6:02pm. He texted at 7:41pm...that he is 35 minutes away....after I kept calling and texting him! Terrible communication. Stated his phone is blowing up and things are just crazy! One had a mask around his neck, and the rest of the two movers didn't have them. When I informed them politely that Cambridge has a law that requires you to wear face masks in public places, such as the apartment building lobby they were standing in, all three pulled out masks from their pockets. I said great, please put them on. They did and walked to the elevator, then took them off. WTF? I say nothing, and when we got to our apartment on the ninth floor, I asked them again to put them on, this time a little annoyed since they don't seem to be taking this seriously at all. They said they can't put them on since moving is cardio-intensive and putting on a mask will hinder their work. Well, excuse me, there's a f**king pandemic going on and they are refusing to wear a mask inside my home? I had no other choice but to turn a blind eye since we were leaving from Boston to California that day and we had no other choice. The "quality assurance" guy reached out to me when we got to California and I informed him about my displeasure on the mask situation, and then I NEVER heard back from him, until I told him I was going to write this review. He called and said "they did not want to be defamed on the internet". lol. My pet food storage box, trash can, and some small items had dents when they got here, so I won't comment on the moving services.
