They handled everything from remediation and plumbing repair to demolition and full restoration, and the basement looks better than before. I called service Master and spoke with Gene who initially said he didn't want to come out to our house because they had been receiving so many requests due to the rain but agreed to put me on the list to come out to do an assessment anyway. A few days later he called me back to tell me that he was coming to do my neighbors house, but he's not going to do my house. He recommended that we try to call another company. Now we have to call another company and be put on their list which will take even longer for somebody to come out and assess the damage. Rather than him agreeing to come out, I feel like he should've just said no I don't have the time or the resources. The weekend is coming up so that's going to be even more time that water sits in our basement unattended. I am partially to blame because as soon as he said not really, I should've called someone else.
