Let me first start off with: Celi is great at what she does. She designed beautiful bouquets for my bridesmaids and I, and I was happy with the end result in regards to those. Throughout the planning process, Celi was difficult to get ahold of. I had emailed her multiple times regarding flowers for my cake and on the day of the wedding I did not receive any flowers for my cake, even though I had sent her photos of what I wanted and she has given me a price and I confirmed. My MOH ended up cutting flowers from the toss bouquet and added them to the cake herself. When it came to me dropping off my centerpieces for her to add flowers to, I was told to come by on a Wednesday. I emailed her to confirm a time and did not receive a response until I text her days later saying I've sent her multiple emails about the centerpieces. She was late dropping off the bouquets to the hotel the girls and I were staying at, which resulted in my photographers not getting any details shots of my flowers with my dress and accessories :( Again, Celi is great at what she does, but you definitely need to be okay with not getting responses within a week or so (sometimes not even at all), which is so frustrating for someone trying to plan a wedding. I had called around to multiple florists before finding Celi at Victoria's Garden. So many florists I spoke with had outrageous quotes for me, and I couldn't believe it, but when I contacted Celi, I was so pleased to find that not only her pricing was more than reasonable, but she had a great persona and was a professional all throughout the whole process of wedding planning. She was extremely personable and helpful whenever I professed to only have a vague idea of what I was thinking of. Together, as we went through Pinterest and her own Instagram, we agreed upon colors and talked about different ideas about what I envisioned for our wedding. When the time came, Celi made it happen. The flowers were gorgeous and fresh and well-presented. We received several compliments on the floral arrangements as well as the colors which were perfectly complimentary with our nautical theme. In fact, the coordinator for our wedding told us that she hadn't seen a cake look as good as ours in a long time and that the color of the flowers went so well with everything else. Then we found Celi on Yelp. From our very first meeting, we knew we found our florist! She was well organized and listened to what we were looking for in our flowers. And to our pleasant surprise is she took in mind our budget. On the day of the wedding she arrived and I was amazed at the bouquets and flowers that she delivered, especially my bouquet. I had mentioned on our first meeting that I wanted some succulents in honor of my grandmother. Well she incorporated the succulents BEAUTIFULLY! I later found out that my fiancé (now husband) had secretly contacted her and arranged for the succulents from my grandmothers garden to be placed in my bouquet. My sister had some of my grandmother's flowers from her garden planted in hers before she had passed. My sister had secretly clipped some of the succulents and snuck them to my husband without me noticing. I found this all out later and it made my bouquet that much more incredible. My husband met Celi a few years ago and I contacted her for a price quote for my mother's wedding. I was not able to hire her then, but it when it came time for my own wedding I knew exactly who I wanted to work with. Celi shared my vision instantly and was able to identify the specific questions to ensure we were on the same page. We worked through about three revisions to the invoice as more guests were added to my wedding reception. I had a tight budget, so I was originally thinking about doing fake flowers for the bouquet to cut costs. I am so glad we decided to meet with Celi. Her prices are very reasonable and the flowers came out beautiful. I don't know much about flowers, so I let Celi lead the conversation. If you book her through Alta Vista Country Club then their package gives you the centerpieces for free. They are short but she is willing to work with you to get you what you want. The good thing about flowers is that you can't buy them till just before the wedding so that gives you a ton of time to figure out what you want. CELI is amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!!! Brides, you've gotta give Celi a shot at being your floral vendor. I was lucky enough to find Celi after being quoted unreasonably high prices by other vendors, and after a floral vendor that I originally went with cancelled their contract with me last minute. I found Celi through Yelp approximately 2 weeks prior to my wedding day, and decided to give her a call. She has more than 15 years of experience, which was evident from just the first phone call alone. Although I wasn't too good at expressing my ideas (translation of my ideas into words), somehow Celi was able to grasp the bits and pieces I was able to communicate and provide a clear description of what I wanted by the end of the phone call. After we met in person, I felt absolutely relieved and trusted her wholeheartedly with my floral decor... she was patient, understanding and funny, above being extremely knowledgeable and creative with the design aspect during our brainstorming/meeting. She was also honest with the costs - she understood my concern with a reasonable budget, and was very considerate about that. She was able to come up with GORGEOUS creations that fell within my budget without losing the look and feel that I had dreamed of for my wedding. I do not have enough good things to say about Celi! The day of the wedding, Celi was ready earlier than I had anticipated and was able to deliver my bouquets a hour earlier than we had originally planned. And, being the bride, of course I had to forget something right (haha)? Well I did... yes, I forgot to pack my jeweled hair pin (the only head piece that I was going to have in my hair), and found out last minute that morning. Frantically, I called Celi and asked her if she happened to have any extra orchids that she could bring so that I could pin them to my hair.... she was so sweet, and calmly told me that she would have them for me. The orchids that she brought ended up to be PERFECT - in fact, they looked even better than the hair piece that I had bought because Celi, being the fabulous person that she is, took the care to place little jewels on the center of each orchid... omg, I was so happy! During the wedding, Celi was kind enough to do a quality-check of the decorations done by the on-site coordinator (since she has an amazing eye for aesthetics, I asked her to check for me as a favor). She helped to fix some of the decorations done by the coordinator, troubleshooting last minute and even adding a bit of floral appeal to things that were lackluster (this was all done out of the kindness of her heart!)... In the end, walking out onto the aisle for the first time when I could finally see everything, I was absolutely stunned and felt sooooooo blessed... my wedding was truly picture perfect. *tears* To end, thank you so much Celi for coming to my rescue so many times, and most importantly, for your kind heart and spirit.
