She treated Max, our 9‑year‑old cat, for serious digestive issues, and we truly feel fortunate to have found her. We had taken Max to other veterinarians for the same problems, but none were able to help him the way Dr. Salieb did. Her expertise and dedication made all the difference. Our Daisy girl was spayed here. straight forward, no frills place. For a spay, microchip, nails, and a few vaccines we came out under $300- a great price! The staff was attentive and informative. The facilities probably need to be updated but that was expected with a low cost place. Pro tip you have to log in on your phone once you get to the parking lot, we were # 10 in line and waited about an hour to drop off so get there early and check in right away. read more

Excellent care for my pet, once you get called by number for yiur turn from the parking lot.

I came in with my pug for a spay and they were not able to do the spay as they're high volume clinic and my dog would need more monitoring attention. Although I appreciate the care to turn a dog a way for their health, there was no advisory of the possibility of being turned away. During registration, and during my phone call prior to the appointment, I made this clinic aware of her breed, and there was never any mention of the possibility of her being turned away because of her breed. I'm sure the clinic is great overall, but be aware of your time being wasted due to living an hour and a half away without prior notice of this possibility if you have a brachycephalic breed. Other than this experience, other communication was satisfactory. Arrive early and check in early to avoid a long wait time for drop off. read more

If I could give them less than one star, I would. They don't return phone calls. They don't return emails. The address is one Sharon Road, but the woman I spoke to told me seven. Doesn't matter because you can't find it anyway. So many people can't find it that the pet resort at eight Sharon Road has a typed up note with the directions. They tell you to arrive at 7:15, but no one explains to you that there is a queue. I was there at 7:15. I got an email at 8:33 that my dog was ready to be seen. They don't explain to you that you're not dropping your dog off so if you have anywhere else that you have to be, you're screwed. Between the lack of clear communication & the unprofessional people that work there, I left because I didn't trust them to perform surgery on my dog. would not recommend. read more

Get here early if you want a faster drop off or you will be last in the drop off line and could be waiting a while. My experience with this clinic has been overwhelmingly positive, even though reading some of the past reviews left me unecessarily worried. Getting my male cat neutered at my local vet would have cost over $500, but this clinic was only a little over $100! Staff knew what they were doing and post op instructions were very easy to follow. do not make an appointment online with these people. Let them take stray animals and that's it because otherwise you will waste your time. I made an appointment twice both of which never got confirmed and when I brought my dog to it both times they said that they could not take him because he wasn't on the appointment list. I had screenshots of all the information and they were still saying it was my fault that the appointment wasn't confirmed. Calling or emailing will not help. They are too overwhelmed with people who want cheap neutering that they overwhelmed themselves and do not give themselves enough space for mistakes. Very disappointed in this place. read more

Take your animal to a real vet. I took my male cat to be neutered when I went to pick him up I was told kidney failure and get him to a vet. I had to wait to talk to the vet he told me since he was sedated they did the surgery. He lasted 3 weeks went from 5.5 lbs to under 3. Cost was over 4,000. and he didn't make it. Manager asked me to call her to let her know what is happening to him. If she is that concerned she could have me, 1 star is high read more

Do not take your pets here to be spayed/neutered if you want your pets treated with care. My 6 month puppy was spayed on July 13th and immediately after getting home we checked her incision. We noticed right away that something did not look right and the incision appeared to be open. We sent a photo to four vets we know through friends/family and all said we needed to take my puppy to the ER right away because it appeared that the skin sutures were not closed properly. As People for Animals was already closed, we rushed my puppy to the ER. The vet there told us that while the outer layer of sutures were closed, it had not been done properly. The vet said that at high-volume spay/neuter locations like this they tend to rush and handle the tissue roughly. The vet also said to keep an eye on it especially because given it was not closed properly it would have a high chance of reopening. I've been monitoring my puppy since Monday, but I just wanted to save anyone the fear that my puppy and I have gone through. Having your pet looked after with care is worth the money to go elsewhere and have it done properly. My friend was planning on taking her puppy here next week to get him neutered and she has already cancelled her appointment and is taking him elsewhere. read more

I love People for animals. During covid I was not able to find one single place that I could take feral cats to be fixed. Everybody was closed or would not have appointments for new clients. The rescues I tried to contact, only responded with a link to donate. Getting very frustrated I got in the car one day and drove all over, and when I got lost and asked someone for directions ,they told me about people for animals. They are the best, friendly and they truly care for the animals they take care off. Words can not describe how thankful I am for finding them. read more

I went to this place because I got a list from the agency that adopted my dog, and it said that it was cheaply neutered through a government subsidized program. However, since this is a place where only surgery is performed without any specialization, and there is no post care at all, please do not make it difficult for the dog you love to save money and find a specialized veterinary hospital near you. My dog ​​was neutered here, and two days later, he became infected, so he visited again and was prescribed antibiotics. However, after a few days, the infection got worse and the surgery site was eventually opened, and the PFA told me to go to another emergency hospital for this case. I tried to make an appointment for a re-check up 5 days after I went to the emergency, but they said they couldn't give him any special treatment because they don't do post care. I wish I could give 10 stars, the staff is SO NICE here. I have never had a pet nor taken care of one so I had no clue what to do. I brought in some cats I found abandoned in my neighborhood to be spayed/neutered. Online it said there was no availability for a few months but when I called they squeezed me in a week. Very covid friendly, you check-in from your car and they let you know when to bring the pets. My feral cats were pretty scared but these people were angels and treated them well. They have recovered and are doing well now. They cleaned the cages and replaced the newspaper which I thought was very sweet of them. I originally only had an appointment for 2 but they took in 3. They answered all my silly questions like what are their genders and when should I feed them, despite giving all the information in the discharge papers. I really just want to say thank you, from the receptionist to whoever I spoke to when I dropped off the cats, you guys were so very helpful. Such an affordable price too. I will be coming back. Terrible!! Before you go for a walk in appointment make sure to CALL AHEAD to see if they feel like working that day! Do not go by the times they have on the website. We were turned away three times, very rudely, during their walk in hours. The first time we were two minutes late, ok our fault, but the girl at the front desk was really rude about it. The second time their computers were down. We were turned away rudely again, the third time they were having a "private event". I don't know what a private event is but there is no need for the extremely rude customer service we always get. If they treat their customers bad, and they are not consistent with the hours listed on their site. I seriously question their treatment of the animals. read more

I must say, I was very impressed with the professionalism and the service. The cost of having our cat spayed was far, far less than our vet was going to charge, and the treatment our cat received (as unpleasant as the procedure itself is) was excellent. Great post-op instructions and cautions. My only less than stellar experience was with microchipping; I received a packet of info that advised me to go online and confirm that my pet was registered. I did so, and she wasn't, so the online instructions led me to enroll her, which then led me to a hefty annual subscription for services that I didn't want or know about and could very easily been sucked into. I couldn't complete the enrollment without signing up for at least a year. I called PFA and was told that the registration is actually covered in the very modest fee I paid them, but it takes about 3 weeks for the registration to show up. So the subscription is unnecessary. That info should have been provided in the packet. The cost of the procedure and other services were so reasonable that I felt compelled to make a donation. Fortunately for me, they had a wishlist on the counter for supplies and equipment that they were looking for, and we had some nice things that belonged to a dog we lost a year and a half ago. I was able to donate some stuff they could use, and not have it go to waste. I'll certainly keep them in mind in the future. 2/6/2017 Post-posting post: I confirmed today that the microchip registration is complete, and I was able to set up an account with more profile information without having to pay for a membership. I believe I can also update the info later. I hope I never need to use it, but a $15 one time charge for a little peace of mind is well worth it. read more

This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and take great care of animals. I would give them 5 stars but their well services need a little overhaul. The shots are very cheap but you could end up waiting for an hour plus. This is not due to demand, I guess they need to wait for a Vet Tech to become available. This place needs someone who answers the phone and takes your money to be a little bit more friendly and courteous to their customers... I have stopped using companies because the front line employees were either rude or incompetent even if the company itself as a whole was excellent. The woman who took my credit card info to pay for a cat's neutering was robotic, abrupt and gave me pat answers repeatedly...I had questioned ear tipping and was told if I didn't have the ear tipped I'd have to pay more AND I didn't have an appointment...what? I'd have to pick the cat up Make an appointment and bring her back? Really!? I didn't appreciate it... I'll pay the extra money and take any feral cat that I find to my personal vet. read more

We use PFA for all our dogs needs because, they care and always give their best, and that's not easy with our 3 Primma Donnas! Dawn is the best intake associate ever, she goes over all the girls records, provides all their paper work, and even gives extra copies and rebate forms to send out for the drug rebates that are available, no one else has ever done that! Angel is the perfect tech, he has a special rapport with the animals, he is the only one they allow to cut their nails, they trust him and so do we. He does great work and is efficient and thorough. The vets procedures are very professional, and after care instructions and followup are excellent. This is above and beyond the savings we get from the best price list you will find anywhere! I have to say the front staff, at least on my visit was very short with me and kind of rude. While I was informed that one of the front staff was new it was as if she couldn't smile or handle her job whatsoever. That being said everyone that I spoke on the phone was very kind and informative. Everything went well past that. Just as a side note if you are traveling here be sure to note that depending on which way you're coming from the U-turn is from the center lane and if you miss the building you're going to have a hard time getting back. I just had my dog neutered at this facility. I admit I was very skeptical since my vet wanted to charge me almost $700 and I received additional quotes for $300- $350. I didn't want to regret going the "cheap" route but I couldn't justify the price difference. I think People for Animals is a great business! I have brought both my golden retriever and my cat to them. I brought my dog to the one in Hillside, NJ and the cat to the one here in Robbinsville, NJ. Both were excellent locations although I prefer the one in Robbinsville because it is closer. Although I never used the neuter scooter or their other services, I have heard good things about them. I did both spay and neuter and vaccinations for both my cat and dog. They are more than half the price of what I would be charged at the vet and the one in Robbinsville gave my dog a check up with the vaccinations. It was really nice and the people there are very kind. The front desk is always helpful and accurate in answering my questions. I really would recommend this business to all my friends and family. read more

There was a line a head of us and the sweet receptionist could tell my dog was anxious and allowed me to take her outside and they called us when they were ready. My dog got multiple shots and blood work done all in under 10 minutes and only another 10 for the results. I've never had a vet visit go so smoothly. Not to mention the prices are incredibly fair. This was the first time I used PFA and I only have positive things to say about them. It was a wonderful experience and I will use them from now on (if my husband lets me get anymore animals...). Bob drives the scooter and was the main person I talked to about scheduling my cats vaccinations and neutering and he was very nice and informative.
