In I go to a large shop with a huge refrigerator and plenty of ready to go flowers. No need delivery. Get to the counter, place my order, pay the bill easy-peasy. I spoke with Ema and asked her if she can change the colors of the store's original floral arrangement to match the urn. I was concerned that the flowers were not going to get to the church on time. This "arrangement" was no more than a " Grocerv" arrangement for $10 stuck in a VERY small glass vase. You might have less than $15.00 of flowers and materials in this arrangement. I was so disappointed. I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day about a week before. I kept checking, and my order was not delivered. I got one message that delivery was attempted. I contacted the person I ordered the flowers for, and they said they were home all weekend. I called in to find out why, and there was no reasonable explanation for "why" the flowers were not delivered. I called again and was told that they used a third-party delivery service, and my order was "messed up". Finally, on February 17th, the flowers were delivered with a card, "Sorry for the mistake". I didn't make the mistake; the People's Flowers delivery people did. To say the least, it was a very awkward situation. I have never had this problem with them before, and now I am worried about having the same problem again. read more

I was beyond disappointed with the products and service I received. The flowers I ordered were for my wedding day, including a "long and low" 4 bouquets including a bridal bouquet and 3 boutonnieres . I met with Melissa 3 times months in advance to go over the flowers and arrangements I requested and to make changes to my order as the day got near. I even provided her with pictures of what I wanted my bridal bouquet to look like. The day of my wedding I showed up to pick up my order and the bouquets were all incorrect (4 in total). My bridal bouquet didn't not have a cascading flow, as requested. The bridesmaid bouquets did not have a single rose even though roses were requested for all bouquets. An arrangement I paid for was not available for my pick up order (the Long and Low) and was never provided. Everything was wrong. They refused to refund me and insisted I pay again for the arrangement that was already paid for. Melissa was in the store, but would not come out to speak with me to clear things up. She sent another lady to do her "dirty work". I called again after my wedding to discuss the debacle and Melissa nor any other manager returned my phone call. They left me hanging on my wedding day and wasted over an hour of my time that day, and kept over $125 dollars for an arrangement they never gave me, yet I paid for. I will never order from them again and highly discourage anyone to work with Melissa. My heart was broken that my wedding flowers were nothing like what I ordered, expected and PAID for. read more

I had balloons delivered to my son's work for his birthday. They were delivered at 3:30pm and he got home with them at 5:30pm. They were in a plastic bag, NOT tethered to a weight, as the weight was handed to him separately, and when he opened the bag, only the foil balloons rose. The other balloons sank to the floor. When I called the main store, the manager said she would give me a full refund since that's not how they normally operate. One month later, no refund. I'm so happy at how my photos turned out. We used The People's Flowers for our "John & Yoko" inspired shoot. I called in advance to ask what store would have carnations and loose petals. Though I usually go to the location off Central, I was directed to come here. The flower selection is AMAZING. SO FRESH! Vibrant. But bring a sweater because it's cold in here. Our carnations lasted for almost an additional month. This tells you HOW FRESH things are here. The customer service was fast, friendly, and educational. The 2020-COVID restrictions are being upheld. During my hospital stay, my parents sent me the most beautiful flower arrangement. The delivery person brought them straight to my room and was so kind. She genuinely wished me well in my recovery and since I couldn't put water in the vase myself, she made sure they had fresh water to stay beautiful. To be honest, I've never understood receiving flowers in the hospital (and I'm in there a lot!) because it's just one more thing to carry when you get out. In addition the orchids were withered and dry along with the greenery. I'm very disappointed in the service and product that was delivered. We ordered 8 corsages and a bridal bouquet for a small wedding. Thank goodness we didn't order more. I called a month before to add a corsage (we originally had 7) and they couldn't find my order after giving them my name, my soon to be husbands name, and both phone numbers. Finally after several minutes, I mentioned it was a wedding coming soon and they said "oh! it's for a wedding? you should've said so that's different". Umm ok. So I was able to add to the order. I called 3 days before the wedding and again they couldn't find my order. I gave names, numbers, mentioned wedding and still couldn't find it. I told them this was the second time they lost my order and I was getting concerned and worried. The woman laughed and didn't address concerns just said she'd put me on hold. Then she came back and said I needed to contact the store I made the order with. I said I thought that was the store I called but she was at the Montgomery store. She gave me their number and so I called. I received the Eubank store!! She tried to help and couldn't find it either. She said so I wasn't on hold she'd look into it and call me back. About an hour later a man who said was a manager called and said he found the order and made sure the flowers were there. I was only partly relieved because it didn't sound too reassuring. I called the next day to be safe and the girl found the order right away. The only reason it got 1 star was because its the lowest I can give and they did arrive 30 mins early. None of the corsages were labeled (which would've been helpful to others trying to help while I was getting ready) and they weren't all the way we ordered. This company has several stores with each given a different phone number on the websites but its like playing Russian roulette getting the store you called. Never once did I get the store I tried for without getting rerouted a few times. They have no organization, their employees are not on the same page, nor the stores. I chose this company because they've been around a long time and I thought they'd be good. They have massively gone down hill. Very chaotic. Not reassuring for customers. With the exception of one that seemed to know what they were doing, employees need better training and the company needs to develop a better phone system. Example: one main number and then press 1 for Eubank, press 2 for Candelaria and so forth. I'm surprised this company is still open. I will never go with them again. I will go elsewhere or make my own arrangements. It will be cheaper, nicer, and I will know my flowers will be there and ready. A bride/groom should not have to stress over things as easy as a small flower order. read more

I collected money within my office to purchase flowers for my supervisor's father's passing. I went on the People's website and even spoke to an employee who said they would be delivered the next day to the church before 10am. I received an email that morning saying the flowers were delivered and signed for by the receptionist that morning at 7:47am. After the service I asked my supervisor if she got the flowers and she said no, she also called the church to make sure they weren't misplaced, and was told there was no one there before 8am to receive the flowers. I called People's and they said they would do a little research and get back to me. The gentleman called me back saying there was a "miscommunication" and the flowers were not delivered. They offered to deliver them to a home address, and of course did not get them out the same day. Finally, they delivered the flowers two days later. I'm quite disappointed with the service I received and will not use them again. I have no clue how someone could send an email claiming they were delivered and then call that a miscommunication. Let's call it what it really was, a bold faced lie. And if I never called, they would have kept the money and been happy to rip me off. I don't know about other locations, but I'd look elsewhere if I were you. read more

A tall, arrogant man appeared and acted like he had more important things to do than speak with us (no eye contact, looking off in different directions). He gave us his card with his contact information and told us he would follow up with us. The staff is friendly when i went in I was looking for some particular flowers and they went in the back to see if they had any. The prices are good and not expensive. Customer Service Fail 101: I went to Peoples Flowers today to purchase flowers for a friend that had just been admitted to hospice. I asked the young lady behind the register for help, and explained the situation. Her response: "Oh, you just need some get well flowers. You can look in there" (directing me to the refrigerated flowers). I told her my friend was NOT getting well, that she is dying. Her response again, "Oh there are some really bright flowers in there", pointing again at the refrigerated section. REALLY?! I was the only person in the store requiring assistance! There was only one bouquet that was appropriate - delicate colors - thank God (and it WAS beautiful), but for $124.00 you'd think I could get some customer service. Not so much.
