We want to keep him on retainer :) We originally contracted with him only to remove an entire wall of mirror and to remove all the flooring (carpet, tile, etc.) in our new home but he is so good at all that he does that we hired him to completely redo two bathrooms and complete a long, long list of various "handyman" jobs at the house. He does the best work. We have been using him for over 3 yrs now. I have had him redo a bathroom with cabt, sink and flooring with plumbing too! I have had him add electrical fixtures over my breakfast nook and a new and fancier sink faucet for the kitchen sink. He has done new tile flooring for the kitchen dining and lanai, with a specail inlay set in and accented. He has just finished doing new hardwood flooring for our living room that is 20x20 sq ft. This looks wonderful, quite a new look, it now compliments and fits our fireplace and entertainment center also. His work is the very good and always complete. I have never had to recall him back for any finishing or something that looks tacky! He is a very good worker and good to talk with too. I have sent him referrels too! Daniel is a great handyman and my folks and I are thrilled to have discovered him. His rates are very reasonable and he's knowledgeable and friendly. For a low service call fee he installed a new light switch in our kitchen, fixed a towel bar I installed improperly, and installed a new toilet paper holder in the bathroom. After reading reviews, I was sure I had found my handyman. I called on 5.28.15, no call back. I called on 6.1.15 and Daniel told me he would call the following week to set a time to come by and look at what we needed done. He never called or set the the appointment. On 6.23.15 I contacted him and asked why we hadn't heard from him?? He stated he was three weeks out now and had 5 bathroom remodels. Needless to say I was and am very disappointed with the level of service and response time. Not only that, he's extremely nice, and he takes the time to explain the issue and how he's going to fix it. His rates are reasonable, and he works quickly. I hired him over the phone for some repairs at a rental condo that I own. The previous tenant had damaged the condo, and I needed someone to help fix several items (door, garbage disposal, a/c unit, toilet, etc.) as quickly as possible. A fellow at Home Depot referred us to Daniel when we were trying to install a pressure regulator on our new home--something that somehow slipped past all inspections, appraisals, and the home warranty company. Daniel was fast, efficient, friendly, and above all honest. He beat the bid by the home warranty company by a fair amount as well. Most recently, he replaced a bathtub faucet in our guest bath that was giving us some trouble, and once again his service was extremely fast, efficient and affordable.
