The scope of this project included stucco repairs, adding foam details around the windows on three sides of the house, painting the entire house, and adding 5-inch address numbers to a column at the entryway. This is a five-star review because the owner went above and beyond to ensure that we got the results we were hoping to achieve and he saved us from making a costly mistake with the colors we initially selected. If you've ever used the tiny cards from the paint store, you know how hard it is to make these decisions, because the colors can look vastly different once applied to the material that you're painting than they did on the little paper cards (especially when it's a large area/object). The owner went to the extra trouble of purchasing a small amount of each color of paint and painting a small area on each surface that was going to be painted and giving us the chance to approve it or change our selection before committing to painting everything. This allowed us to make adjustments before purchasing all of the paint and before they had painted the entire house. In contrast, one of my neighbors hired another painter to paint their house and that contractor did not take these extra steps. They were quick and efficient, and even completed painting the house in a single day. However, my neighbor was unhappy with the results because the color that they had thought had a slight blue hue when looking at the little card, resulted in a house that appeared more purple. My neighbor hated it so much, he paid to have the entire job redone. In the end my neighbor is happy with the results, but it cost him twice as much. My wife and I are absolutely thrilled with their work and so are all of our neighbors. In fact, everyone in the neighborhood has complimented us on how good our front yard looks. Of course, the credit goes to these guys, who took such good care of us and did such an amazing job!

He took his time explaining every step and answering all my questions. The pricing was fair and his crew was ontime and very nice. Day 1 was pressure washing. Juan arrived with his employee, made sure everything was set up and communicated what time they would start the next day. They prepped and painted 4 days. All in, including pressure washing day, our house was completed in 5 days. What a difference! We had seen other neighbors' exterior paint jobs take weeks! Juan worked side by side with his team and really knows what he is doing. Many times I would pop outside to find Juan up on a ladder working hard. They carefully wrapped all our porch lights, A/C equipment, windows and doors. They put plastic down everywhere to avoid overspray. (I joked that my yard looked like Dexter had been there) Juan explained that since we get a lot of wind here, he would rather cover it all to avoid any overspray. Juan is meticulous. He sees all the little spots that I saw as the homeowner. I'm usually quite good at picking out the little spots that may have been missed, but Juan's attention to detail was better than mine. He truly cares and stands behind his work. This company guarantees quality and he did. We did a final walkthrough together and he made sure to hit everything and anything I found. Jose Peraza came out on a Saturday morning and gave us a quote to replace the removed drywall, texture and paint. His pricing was reasonable and said he could start Monday morning. Jose and his employee showed up first thing Monday morning and went straight to work. I was telling him that our fluorescent light panel in the ceiling of our kitchen was hideous and was planning on taking it out in the future and replacing it with light fixtures. Jose said he would rip it out and wire two cans in for us at no extra charge and ensure the drywall looked good. Wasn't in my plans but said sure. I also had some old telephone wall plates he patched up for no extra charge. In fact , Jose did a lot of little extras to make the place look good. Jose even replaced electrical outlets to ensure all of them matched through the house. On Thursday they finished and everything looked great and seamless! Jose and Mia were very pleasant to work with... Got to know Jose during the week and he's a totally awesome person... we had some laughs as well. I have worked with a few contractors in the Murrieta area and Jose has most definitely been the best I've worked with. We were not clearly informed at the time of signing that around the 5-year mark there is a large fee/decision point, and if you don't take action to end/modify the lease at that time, you can remain locked into payments for 20+ years. That detail should have been explained plainly upfront. If you're considering this company, I strongly recommend: * Get the full contract in writing before agreeing to anything. * Ask specifically about what happens at year 5, any fees, and your options to end the lease. * Have someone independent review the agreement so you understand the long-term costs. I wish we had done that, because this has been far more expensive and stressful than we were led to expect.
