Kevin from People's Pest was absolutely wonderful! After a new house was built next door to my rowhome in Philly, we had mice in the kitchen. Kevin took time to move my appliances and fully inspect the areas where mice had been. Not only did he lay traps, he also used foam and plastic to fill and bait the areas where the mice had created entrances to my living space. He even cleaned up behind the appliances with a vacuum and took time to thoroughly explain what I should expect next. Unlike other exterminators I have used in the past, Kevin was extremely thorough and professional- and I no longer have mice! Yellow jackets were aggressively defending their nest which they made behind the siding beside our front door, so each time we used the door, we were attacked! Highly reccomend this company. We reached out to peoples pest control for help with a rodent (rat) issue in our basement and within and hour had an appointment scheduled for the same week. We contacted Kevin because we had a significant issue with mice in our home. The communication leading up to the service was exceptional and friendly, and he was able to schedule a visit within a few days. Kevin was incredibly thorough as he surveyed and inspected many different areas of our home and completed a range of prevention strategies (traps, bait stations, drill and dust in walls, and sealing off entry points) in a range of locations--including ones my wife and I were unable to access on our own-- all around our house. I highly recommend hiring Peoples Pest Control. Kevin responded right away with a quote and availability. He called once I sent him my number so there was very little back and forth. He was able to arrive quickly to help me with yellow jackets, hornets and paper wasps. He was professional and did a thorough job. He made sure to clean up after removal and to take preventative measures to keep the hornets and wasps from getting back in my house. He also wore shoe booties so chemicals don't get trekked in the house. He answered all my questions and was knowledgeable about insects and they're treatment. I was hesitant at first with so few reviews and a new business but Kevin has years of experience working at another business before starting this one. I'm so glad I chose Peoples Pest. There is only one word to describe Kevin and his business, incredible. I requested a quote from another business and used Yelp's service to request a quote from several businesses. I am so glad I was matched with Peoples Pest Control instead. He was responsive, offered quick same day service, and affordable. I feel like the stars aligned for me! I didn't know what to expect as it was my first time dealing with a mouse. Kevin came and not only inspected the area in question but thoroughly inspected my whole house! He took out all of my appliances and items from my cabinets, to make sure no spot was overlooked even though I thought it was contained in one area. He filled all of the holes he could find and left out bait, traps, and powder. There is no way anything will come back with Kevin's skill and expertise. Seriously, don't look further if you need any type of extermination! He offers so much more services than just mice, I was stunned! Not only is he the best at what he does but Kevin is honest, personable and so kind.
