Sorry guys it seems they are out of business. I was just there today... The place was empty with a "For Lease" sign.

My neighborhood general merchandise store? Lol. Not sure, but it seems like they sell everything at…read morea discount. They have a lot of clothes, name brands, too! They have shoes, home decor, toys, cell phone accessories, kitchenware, and yes, even some food items. I come here for their toiletries. Whether it's shaving cream, toner, facial wash, they have it. Their selections is actually very good. Most of their personal hygiene stuff is sold at a deep discount. I'm not sure why, but probably the shelf life is shorter. But still, a year or so before it expires, I think it's worth the discount. Their clothes selection is good as well. Usually it's also discounted because it's already about a year since it was in fashion. Who cares...? T-shirts and polo shirts are always good for work attire. Anyhow, TJ Maxx has been around for quite a while in the plaza. They're always quite busy, especially during the Holidays. I would definitely go there during the week, since it's much less crowded.

The customer service at this TJ Maxx is, unfortunately, really disappointing…read more This store is super convenient for me on my way home from work, but I'd honestly rather drive two cities away than deal with the experience here. Tonight was a perfect example of why. I watched a manager open a register, help one customer, and then close it--even as the line kept growing to about 15 people. That left just one associate handling a long line, while another cashier was tied up helping a group with a large purchase. Instead of jumping in to help during a busy moment, the manager was on her phone, then emptying trash behind the registers and adjusting carts--completely ignoring the line of waiting customers. The only bright spot was Carlos, who was working incredibly hard and treating customers with patience and professionalism despite the situation. He deserves recognition for how he handled things. It's frustrating because TJ Maxx has great products, but the lack of customer care at this location makes it not worth the stop.

Personally I didn't really like this place. We went on a Wednesday because theirs online hours said…read morethey were open-false start because they were actually closed. I had to suggest their actual hours so that their website reflected that. Everything is donated and appears to be fast fashion-think SHEIN and lots of polyester, everything goes to charity so there's that I suppose. The workers are entirely volunteer based which makes for a poor system, resulting in the service being almost too attentive with the staff immediately asking what you're looking for and approaching you the minute you pull something off to get a closer look. For example I had to remove some dresses to even be able to look at the dresses but one of the volunteers asks if I wanted her to hold them but then stood there waiting for me to be done which felt uncomfortable to say the least. Because everyone's a volunteer they're bored and try to be "too helpful" in that you can't look in peace and feel constantly watched. In addition the racks were packed way too tight, making it almost impossible to look at the clothes individually. Hard pass for me thank you.

Some cute clothing items but didn't see anything I wanted to buy. Sort of limited clothing section…read morecompared to Goodwill. Well organized though. We were greeted when we walked in so that's a plus.
