    traditional chinese wedding attire

great selection and service! so many different styles and colors of dresses to choose from and you could really feel the great quality of the dresses. they were very friendly; the only thing i would recommend is if you (or someone you bring with you) can understand and speak chinese as that is their primary language. we were able to communicate in english without any kind of miscommunications but having a chinese speaker is a big plus!

Beautiful Qi Pao and traditional Chinese wedding clothes for women and men. Make sure to call for an appointment. She has a big selection to choose from and different colors. Definitely worth it.

My friend and I went to an award show and we couldn't think of a better way to show our love for our Asian culture than wearing qi paos to make us feel glamorous. Original price was $200 for our detailed dresses that were considered modern mermaid style, from Hong Kong. We had fun trying on the different styles and became friendly with the Chinese Aunties after I spoke my broken Toisanese. all to say, much love and appreciation for the beautiful selection and quick service. We were so happy with our purchase and received so many compliments, looking like sisters on the red carpet.

When finding this store Qian Yi on Google Maps, after walking in it looked like it was a collection of shops within the area (kind of like a stall). I wandered into one of the ones my sister recommended where the owner had a huge selection of qipaos and cheongsams. She (Ms. Lam) accepted cash or venmo, and refused to budge for pricing besides what she gave. Her shop was the 1st one to the left I believe. The area to try out was right where she stored some of her inventory and was tiny. The one I decided to go with, ended up getting a lot of compliments at my wedding. I wore it during reception. Waiting on photos from my photographer to post. But I had purchased my qipao and my husband's qipao (just the top) for $130 overall. Would come again if in the area, quite affordable.

The owners were so kind and helpful, we had a wonderful time picking out our wedding clothes. They were very good quality and a great price. 謝謝老闆!我的婆婆很喜歡我們的衣服!

Xie Xie!! The Aiyi (Chinese for auntie) here totally delivered. I was invited to the White House's first-ever Lunar New Year celebration and needed a qipao to wear. Upon arriving at the store, the dress immediately caught my eye, it was a beautiful lace and unique. It was well made and when I tried it on it fit perfectly. I received a ton of compliments at the White House!

I bought a $180 peacock dress and a $50 red men's shirt here. Personally, I don't think it's worth that much because it's made of polyester. However, my alternatives were a $600 East Meets West dress online, a $4000 custom silk dress from Jinza, or a gamble from Alibaba or AliExpress. You can haggle at this shop. The other reviews are correct that the shop owners do bad mouth the neighboring Vietnamese shops. They say that their dresses are low quality. Finding this shop was tricky. It is on the far left hand side of the Dynasty Center building.

Ask the Community - Qian Yi Fashion

I am not Chinese, however I've always thought this style dress was gorgeous . My question , is it inappropriate for me to wear this dress? I do not want to offend or disrespect anyone's culture .

You should wear it! If tastefully done, it would be an honor for you to wear a qipao. 😊

What are the price range for the dresses?

Do they have plus size qipao?

I wear size extra small and small for regular cloth, but with their qipao I wear large. I know some qipao have x large and 2xl. I hope I answered your question.

Are they able to increase the side slit height that has a border?

    I'm sure so

    Do they do custom sizing?

    Yes!

Here you will find a large variety of traditional Vietnamese clothes- offering options for both male and female. Purchasing here is ideal if you are looking into coordinating + matching as a group effort because there are sizes to fit people of all shapes and sizes within your party. The staff is really good at giving you their size recommendations. With this being their bread and butter, a quick glance up and down will conclude with a spot on size estimate. Prices are reasonable. If you are planning to buy multiple sets, don't be shy to ask if there are any discounts that may apply. Never hurts to try, right?? 5/5 Stars. We walked away with 4 outfits. The customer service was great and the owner is so helpful in working hard to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. I will absolutely be back. Until next time, Moons Fashion.

They had ao dai and ao ba ba for all ages as well as Chinese outfits. The workers here were very friendly and weren't pushy. I also got my grandma a warm top/bottom set and warm pants that had fleece lining ($10). The prices were fair. They let you try on the ao dai at the store. They had heels for you to borrow to try on with your ao dai if you wanted to get the full look. They gave us a dangling Chinese charm to add to the boy's ao dai for a fancier look. They had northern style ao dais as well and the headdresses. The bad: My mom tried haggling and getting a better deal for buying a larger quantity but they weren't for it. The interesting: I saw that Asian Garden Mall (Phuoc, Loc, Tho) had two Moon Fashions. I went to the downstairs one in the back left but I saw there was also one on the 2nd floor toward the front.

The SERVICE was friendly and I told Viraj I think was what her name was what color and style I wanted. I also gave her my budget And she stayed within the budget... I wanted to stay within the $200 budget. I tried on 3 outfits and I really like 2 out of 3 outfits... Their attitude also made a big difference, I felt comfortable being open and engaged rather than timidly walking around stressed. Even with a tight budget, I still felt like I had real choices. That's what earned my trust, and it's why I'd trust them to help you find the right outfit too. After a long, overwhelming weekend of online shopping, I booked an 11:15 AM Saturday appointment (first of the day). I was very upfront: $100 per outfit, two outfits needed, one for the Sangeet and one for the wedding ceremony, with specific color requirements from the bride and groom. They appreciated the clarity (You might be thinking, "$100???" I fully expect a few eye rolls when my purse strings are tight, there are reasons for it, so I'm especially grateful when someone can roll with my quirks.) I only tried on five outfits and walked out with two. Seerat was incredibly kind and patient, helping me with buckles and zippers when I started to struggle. Lata has a strong eye for color and was thoughtful and compassionate throughout, especially in helping me stay within my budget while still meeting the dress code. Like most places, all sales are final, so you do need to be sure. That said, it was absolutely worth the 30-minute drive. By noon, my biggest headache was solved. Efficient, professional, and a genuinely good experience.

One of the later closing shops in the Burlington Arcade (open till 7:30pm) I mostly came to explore. There were a very interesting assortment of objects: beautiful fans, gorgeous cards and a lot of familiar Japonica (Daruma dolls, Maneki Nekos...etc.) They were definitely much higher in quality to what is sold in Little Tokyo gift shops. I bought a tiny book featuring cats in Edo-period Japan. The store owner was very kind and took good care of me, wrapping my purchase carefully. This looks like it could be a wonderful place for someone who wants to purchase a kimono. The number of silk samples and colors available seemed quite extensive. Since I was not in the market for one, I can't say much as to their affordability. But definitely worth a visit.
