I had never used Arnett Environmental, and they have been the best by far. Head and shoulders above the others. Our septic pump had stopped working over the weekend and the pump 'barrel' was full. I had just had the actual septic tank pumped out in 8 months ago. Monday morning, I called some companies I had used in the past. They said that they would need to pump out the septic tank again and install a new pump. I had never used Arnett, but I noticed they had good reviews. I spoke with Brandon on the phone about the problem. He said pumping might not be necessary, and that the current pump may still be usable. He discussed multiple options and the cost of each option. He also was very honest about services that would NOT be necessary. Brandon was able to send a crew that same day. The crew was Luke and Michael. They are very knowledgeable, their work was high quality, and they had the patience to answer my questions. While I watched, they tried multiple ways to get the current pump working. They were able to get the current pump to work, but it did not have enough power to discharge the waste at an acceptable pace. They took the time to show all of this to me. They replaced the pump with a new pump, tested and exercised the system to ensure it was fully functional. No additional tank pumping or other service was needed, and the cost estimate was exactly as Brandon had discussed. No surprises and no additional fees. The honesty and integrity displayed by Brandon, Luke and Michael made this a pleasant experience. I highly recommend them and i will definitely use their business in the future.

Ponder plumbing charged us $1700 and didn't even fix the issues we were having (clogged toilet)…read more The tech who initially came out had no clue what our issue was. So, he called the supervisor who explained to him what he thought the issue should be, which was supposedly a venting issue. We were told we needed to correct pipes under our bathroom sinks and put in vents to fix the water from under the toilet and water bubbling in our hall bathroom. We repeatedly asked if it still could've been a clog, and Ponder assured us that wasn't the issue and that running a camera would not be needed. Based on their suggestions and reassurance this would correct our problems, we proceeded to get the work done. After the work was completed the same day, we had the same issues. We informed the tech before he left the property that he hadn't corrected our issues, and we requested a supervisor take a look. The supervisor stated that it could be the wax ring or air, but he never mentioned that it could still be clogged. They didn't offer to reevaluate their work. Instead, that sent us a an $1100 quote for more work including pulling the toilet and running the camera, which they previously said didn't need to be done. We had another contractor come to our home today. He ran the camera, and the issue was a clog the entire time. He was able to clear the clog through the toilet. Ponder was paid for work they didn't need to be done at this time, and they are not willing to refund us any of the $1700 they basically conned us out of.
