Before the serviceman arrived, I received text updates with pictures of who to expect and with their estimated time of arrival. Cut off the main and called 2-10 to get a supposedly Supreme Coverage claim for this leak. Anyway, they assigned this company. The date the initially tried schedule was not possible, so someone came yesterday, 4/28/26. The young man came in, no tools, no notes, no bag. He walks in and asks did I shut off the main supply, which I did days ago when the leak was discovered. He went and turn the main back on. Came back and said, Oh Wow that's a slab leak. A slab what? What is that? And it was like blood in the water from then on out. Oh yeah, I just left another home right up the street that has the same issues. Don't see how he seen all of that without any equipment. Then he stated that a specialist would be coming out within the next 24-48 hours to pinpoint the slab leak. He stated that it's not that bad of a leak and I can leave the water on and do what I normally do until the specialist comes to pinpoint the leak, so I did (which helped proved the leak was actually coming from inside the walls and not the slab!) Have plenty of photos and videos (technology!) By the end of business today, I suddenly get a response from 2-10 stating that the report from the contractor was submitted to them earlier, wait what? What report? I'm under the assumption this so called report couldn't be done until their specialist pinpoint the leak. Red Flags!!!!! Then the only thing out of the entire estimate they were going to cover was $500 and I was stuck out of pocket for the remainder of a $4,600 estimate because they did not cover the equipment and labor of busting up the slab and repairs. Wait....what happened to the specialists? How did you blindly accept that outrageous estimate with hearing anything from the customer? Then a poultry $500 after 10 years of paying you monthly premiums! Clearly it is a grift, by both the warranty company and this contractor. When trying to get clarification, the ghost you. I'll be getting a second opinion in the morning and contacting legal counsel. Run don't walk and take heed to out reviews and ask for another vendor if you have any Warranty Company that suggests this company or just save up, pay out of pocket and avoid these grifters all together.
