Took over 3.5 hrs to replace 1 tire. They cannot even predict how long it will take to complete the service and the place says it's been in business since 1969. I would not recommend this place if you want something simple done or if you have any other plans for the day. read more

Showed up at 8:15am, told us it would take a while . Ok then at 10:30am, she says they are working on it. At 11:15am they finally started on it. Thanks for they lie! Then to make a bad situation worse somebody that came in at least a hour and a half later than us had thier vehicle done before ours was even pulled in. read more

Very fast service. They had my tires mounted with TPMS sensors in an hour. I think the service was too fast though. They threw away my branded, aluminum valve-stems and after taking a look at the wheels when returning home, I noticed scratching along half of the backside of the rims of the wheels from mounting the tires I assume; As well as scratches in the inner bore from the balancing machine. Justin tried to make it right by giving me a new set of steel valve stems, which I'm extremely appreciative of, but not the same as what came with the wheels from Japan. It is a painted wheel so maybe scratches will happen from mounting any tire. Great, quick service, but not sure I'll be back. read more

Update - owner did make contact after the situation below was brought to his attention. Explained efforts to reimburse for services we sought elsewhere and explained process to promise service in the future will be honored timely. He ensured us that his company was built on and must be focused on outstanding customer service. I appreciate his outreach, offer to make up lost expenses, and promise to keep their promise to service. I am updating this rating from 1 to a 4 based on the extra effort made to make up for a few bad days of service timing. Bought tires there over a year ago because they were slightly less than the dealership that I get service at. Promised rotation and hazard for the life of the tires. 20k miles later I have had all rotations and hazard care payed for and performed at the dealership during oil changes due to no availability in schedule for them to honor their rotation and hazard duties. Worse yet hey never say know just string me along telling me it will just be another hour every hour or so until I realize they have wasted half of my day and I leave before they claim my whole day. After a friend's recommendation, I decided to give Plaza Tire a try as I needed 4 new tires. I've lived in the area for most of my life and knew of the place, but had loyalties elsewhere. Tires for my vehicle aren't cheap, so I decided to get a few bids. Not only was Plaza the best price, I was assured if I was unhappy for any reason during the first 30 days, they'd get me a tire that met my approval. Customers should note that they operate on a first-come-first-serve basis so with that information I showed up when they opened at 7:30am. I was shocked at the CLEANLINESS of the store. The floors, counters, seating area and restrooms were SPARKLING. Austin was my service advisor and his professionalism is something you don't see everyday. Polite, informative, and serious about customer service. I worked from my laptop on their free Wifi, and before I knew it I was out the door. Bought a set of tires from plaza. Took out road hazard on them and was told I had life time rotations and balancing of tires. My wife had a flat so I took the tire in to them. They said tire was ruined and needed a new tire. I did nor see nothing wrong with it. So I had them put it back in my trunk and took it to Neil tire service. Explained what had happened at plaza tire. So they inspected tire and fixed flat stating the tire was far from ruined. I also earlier in the year bought a set of tires for my gto. Had to go back 4 times. Wrong tire put on,one leaking,forgot my chrome valve stims and one directional tire mounted wrong direction. I was having them do one tire at a time so I could bring my billet wheels home to polish out before new tire was mounted. Never took car over just my wheels. After this I posted a review of my experience. Called today to have truck tire rotated and balance checked and Austin said take it somewhere else sence I posted a bad review. So much for life time balancing and rotations. They should have made this right and not refuse to do service that was promised at time of tire sales. I have 3 vehicles with there tires. This will get pricey taking them else where to get rotated. So I guess after I rack up a few bills on tire rotation and balancing it will be small claims court. They use to be a great place when Jason worked there but Austin can be a real ass if you don't agree with him or question him. In a way I'm glad I'm out of there. Won't have to worry about quality of work from them anymore. read more

These guys only do work on tires (and I guess installing wheels) and are great at their job. Down to hand tightening lugs with torque wrenches, which I really appreciated the next time I had to take my wheels off. And their prices are really good, at least on labor. I would order tires online, have them shipped here, and put on cheaply and professionally. I'm knocking off a star because they don't do appointments. It's first come first serve and the wait can really suck on a weekend. Last time I was there was a three hour wait before they got me in. I would have liked to at least put my name on a list and come back later, but they told me the car had to be there the whole time or I'd lose my spot. Taking up a seat in a waiting room for hours was not a good use of my day. read more

If you have 20" wheel or larger, this is really the only place to go in Peoria. They have the tire selection, product knowledge and equipment to handle it properly. They have a Hunter Road Force machine and also can straighten wheels. Austin was my service professional and highly recommend him. He is a genuine person and delivered on everything he promised. The owner also made sure everything was to my expectation. I highly recommend Peoria Plaza Tire - just go there early because it gets busy fast and it's first come first serve. read more

I went here once for tires. They had to order my size, which is weird because I don't have a crazy car. Just a Ford Focus. Anyway, I give the guy my info, he tells me to come back in a week, and when I get there, he had only ordered one tire, not four. The guy (different guy) says it will be another week for the other three. I left, drove straight to WalMart and left an hour later with four new tires. read more

Horrible service all the way around!!! Bought 4 new tires a week later low air light came on. I was told had to replace sensor. Did not fix the problem. After 4 return visits, being screamed and cussed at by "owner" and "fired" I still have to put air in my tires about every 10 days. Do yourself and your car a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE!!! read more

I was recommended to go here by a friend who raved about the good quality and service of this company. I told them I needed all new tires at a reasonable price but still good quality, and they knew exactly what I was looking for! A young man named Steve helped me with everything and my tires were installed in less than an hour. I only had to wait 1 day for the tires to come in from being ordered as well, which was great because I needed them very bad. I would definitely recommend this business to anyone in the Peoria area. Probably the worst experience ever - they trash on of my wheels, ask them to replace it with a new one, they replace it with a refurb that does not even match in color. When I drive the car I get a steering wheel shake, tires not even balanced correctly. Shop is dirty, old... Yeah, people are nice, but do yourself and your ride a favor, stay away. read more

Hi, I strongly would not recommend Tire Plaza because of the service. I went in to get a new set of tires and wanted to finance my purchase. I had emailed tire plaza for a quote and they sent it back with a matching price. All was well until I went there. After talking with the sales rep, it would take about 20-25 min to hear back for financing. In the meantime, I sat and waited patiently and noticed a young girl that came in much later after me and was told that she had at least 3 people in front of her and I was one of them. They talked for at least an hr. before he came over and told me he just called financing and no one picked up on there end. The whole time I'm watching him talk with his lady friend and never picked up the phone to call anybody. After waiting an hr to hear back from financing, I called to help speed things up. I immediately got someone on the phone for financing. While on the phone with financing the sales rep came over to tell me that he had got in touch with financing and that they would be calling him back. I told him ok, I'm on the phone with financing now and they said they would give me a call back within 15 mins. After being notified ok for financing I was told someone with a flat tire was ahead of me. In the meantime, the young lady the sales rep was talking with majority of the time she was there, was being handed her keys by him because her car was finished. It seemed to me that the sales rep slipped her in before me as if I wouldn't notice. After she leaves he comes over to me now to tell me my car is now getting pulled in. I was there for over 3hrs to get new tires. So if you plan on getting tires from Tire Plaza clear your schedule or take a vacation day. Your going to need it. read more

I recently bought a used tire for my vehicle from Plaza Tire. I was told that there was a 30 day warranty with this tire if I was not satisfied for any reason. The tire had a slow leak in it and it caused a lot of vibration in my vehicle. I called the store up to see about getting 2 new tires to replace this used one and get a matching one on the oposite side. The quote I recieved even after taking off the price of my returned tire (but only the price of the tire and not the labor) was still $50 more than another store in town. I asked if I could just return the tire instead of buying the set there and was told by the sales person that I could and this did confer the same as the warranty stated. I then purchased my new set at the other store and returned the used tire to Plaza. I was told by there sales person that this was not the agreement and that I was lying about what the person on the phone had told me. They reluctantly gave me a refund for the tire only but made me feel as if I was being dishonest. I will never shop here again due to this experience. read more
