Others (dealer and complete care auto service) previously found nothing and in the case of the dealer I was charged for the pleasure. Not only did the technician evaluate my vehicle but the lady who checked me in and Beau himself drove my car. The technician and the lady (who for all practical purpose seems just as knowledgeable) confirmed the noise I had been hearing and evaluated the tire for safety and mechanical soundness. They agreed that the tire and thus the car should be safe to drive, and thought the sound was from the strut. Beau confirmed that it was indeed the strut, is safe to drive, and I could replace the strut at my leisure. I thanked them and tried to pay them for this service but they refused, saying "We did nothing to your vehicle; therefore, there is no charge". That was worth the time spent. We had our car towed here on a Sunday evening after losing power on the interstate. This happened…read moreabout 1.5 hours from home, so we were unfamiliar with shops in the area. Our tow truck driver recommended this place so that is where we had it towed. The next morning, I received a call from Mike saying that our engine had a spun a rod bearing. That basically meant we needed a new engine. He recommended I talk to the Hyundai dealership to see if it was still under the manufacturer powertrain warranty. Thankfully it was under warranty, so I had it towed to the dealership for the repairs. Despite spending his time diagnosing the issue, Mike did not charge me anything. If I'm ever in the area and need another car issue diagnosed, I would definitely visit again. Thanks!
