Yep, it sometimes can take an hour or so or a couple of days for them to get parts for my vehicle, but Nogales is not exactly Phoenix or Tucson so that's to be expected, especially with an older car like mine. ( I sometimes had to wait days for parts to arrive at the dealership up in Tucson, too.) In my experience, the service department does everything it says it will do and my vehicle always leaves there "well repaired." But, like at the doctor's office, sometimes service runs a little slower than expected, depending on what turns up during the "examination." They provide a priority list of what needs attention right away and what might need attention in the near future so you can decide what's within your budget. I feel very disrespected as a senior citizen and woman by Jonathan, the store manager. I took my car in at noon yesterday and explained the issue. Jonathan was totally unwilling to listen to my concern about this store never having the parts needed and the fact that it takes DAYS to get the parts in order to service my car, a Hyundai Accent. I asked Jonathan to check out my car YESTERDAY, not work on it, so he could order the parts I might need so they could order them YESTERDAY, DAY 1! He said he had 10 customers in front of my car and refused to find a solution to help me. I explained that I did NOT want them to work on my car YESTERDAY, I wanted them to check it out so they could have the parts they needed TODAY. He said he would have my car looked at the FIRST thing today. The store opens a 8 am, I called at 10 am because I had not heard from him. They had done NOTHING with my car yet. I later called after NOON DAY 2 and they found the problem, but had not called to tell me. They need to order one part from Phoenix. I offered to drive to Phoenix to pick it up and his assistant refused to allow me to do that. According to the assistant, the needed part will arrive TOMORROW by 8 am. I said I needed the car by 11 am TOMORROW because, otherwise, my life would be in danger because, as a woman and a senior citizen it is not safe to travel to Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico later in the day. TODAY I had someone to travel with me. TOMORROW I will not. If I don't get my car EARLY TOMORROW, I will be even more in danger if I have to travel into Mexico on the weekend. Spring Breaks are overlapping from school, colleges and university to traffic will be crazy. I explained to Jonathan that I would be in danger if he did not check out my car on DAY 1. He did not care. I hope nothing will happen to me, however, I want my family and friends to know that Pep Boys was indifferent to my situation and drug their feet. If I had been a man and young (the cars they worked on before they got to me 24 hours later, and halfway through DAY 2), I would not have been treated this way. I realize people do not want to work for Jonathan and that is why you are short staffed, Pep Boys must deal with this situation so that YOU are a service and WE, the customers, are not made to feel that WE are at YOUR service. The cost of this service will be over $2,000.00. I do not mind paying for good mechanical service, I just hate to contribute to Jonathan's paycheck because of his misogamy/machismo and disrespect for senior citizens. I took my kia optima for an oil change as i usually do at pep boys as me and my family usually go get our maintenance done there for over 6 years now. Oil change was done Jan 29 and i had a trip to california coming up (500 mile drive). When i took my vehicle to get my tires changed at a local fire stone on feb 8, i was advised to change my oil and i told the local fire stone "no thank you i just got one done on jan 29" and he replied " ok your oil is black and i its also on low ". (I couldn't believe him because i thought maybe he was trying to sell me something). When i contacted Jonathan Ramos (Nogales Pep Boys) back from california he said they did the oil change but they never showed me the video and they couldn't send it , not even to a pep boys in California. At this point it clicked that i drove my vehicle 500+ miles with the same oil (that was never changed). Unfortunately, it was my wife who took the vehicle to get the oil change and i am certain they took advantage of her lack of knowledge in vehicles. Now i am stuck paying for a 100 dollar oil change & filter that was never changed and i have to change it again. This is absolutnely unsatisfactory from Pep Boys in Nogales , as they cant prove their evidence. Myself and my family will NOT be coming to this place in the future. read more

I went in for an oil change they ended up breaking the oil pan, after i played for a new one they broke my cv axle and claim that they fixed it. I went baxck the following week got charged another 400 for the part and laber. One week latrer I got the car back it still had the same problem. I took it to another mechanic and he said that they didnt not replace the part. They just took my money. They never gave it back Fui para un cambio de aceite y me quebraron la bandeja donde va el aceite. Me cobraron por la bandeja. Ya que areglaron eso me regresaron el carro. Me li regresaron con el cv axle quebrado y tambien soldaron una pieza que quebraron. Regrese y me cobraron 400 para uno nuevo y por mano de obra. I'm almost 500 miles from home. My oil pressure is low, and a short list of other problems. So I take my van to Pep Boys. Turns out I had more problems! The shop at home had not done the basic safety inspection when I took it in before leaving. Pep Boys also found a potential serious problem. I didn't have an appointment but they did what was needed to get me back on the road safely. Lacey kept me informed of each step. She told me exactly what the mechanic was doing, what parts were needed, how long it would take, and how much it would cost. I didn't realise Pep Boys did more than just oil changes! Their customer service was awesome. Everyone in the store greeted me and was genuinely friendly. I definitely recommend this store. Great find in a small town. read more

I've gone here twice for my CTS...the first time I needed a strut replaced and honestly, had I given this place a review for that repair I would not have been very nice....ultimately they did end up fuxing the strut issue (for the most part) so I have no serious complaints aside from the eternity it took for them to complete the job (and they refused to fix only the faulty strut so I ended up paying for both front struts when the drivers side was the only issue...which meant I had to purchase two strut complete assembly parts off parts ...cost was over $1k for the parts alone on parts geek)....anyway the 5 stars I'm giving is for their help today. My husband got a siphon hose stuck in my gas tank...he was try8g to light the grill and needed gas so instead of using his own '20 Escalade he chose to siphon it out of my 2018 CTS V-Sport Luxury Edition (which I've had lowered and also fitted with custom 22" Giovanna rims)...you may wonder WTH he was thinking and honestly I wonder the same thing...anyway I took it to PepBoys and after laughing at the siphon tube hanging out of my gas tank they got it out in less than 5 mins and didn't charge me a dime. so unbelievably amazing and kind of them to not accept payment from me and it's places like this with workers like these who I will keep coming back to every time...Honesty and integrity are priceless and really that's all I need to know about these guys for me to trust them 100% with my cars... read more

I had one of those days where nothing was going right. Flat on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and someone borrowed my jack and didn't return it.
