They helped me navigate a very difficult time in my life. I was provided with the equipment, medications, and supplies such as diapers, wipes etc. Most importantly they supplied caring instructions and emotional support for both myself and my loved ones. I could not have walked this path without their wonderful assistance. I highly recommend using Soulistic Hospice.

My nurse practitioner, Felicia, must have come straight from Heaven, such a caring and compassionate person is few and far between. We spent 2 hours together for our first meeting, and the care she coordinated for me is just AWESOME! I really never expected such caring people to be in my life. Even Rose, who answers the phone and coordinates service is a wonderful human being. You don't have to have imminent death to qualify for palliative care and I wish more people would take advantage of this. The relief I felt, knowing that Felicia was fighting for me was just plain wonderful. I would give them 100 stars if I could and I don't think I have said that about any business I have reviewed on Yelp!

I had to engage the services of a wound care nurse to bandage a hole in my back that occurred due to a ruptured cyst. Their RN, Christy, did daily bandage changes on my back for over 2 months and then went to twice per week. Under her professional and compassionate care, my wound did not become infectious or heal improperly. I am most grateful for this company's professionalism and compassion in hiring competent nurses who know exactly what they are doing. Our uncle was cared for at his home by Arista for over a year. His nearest relatives--two of…read moreus--are on the East coast. It was his choice to live in the state he loved (AZ), and as he aged, we very consciously spent more and more time with him, alternating visits traveling there multiple times every year for long visits. We were also in daily contact with him by phone and email, and his very close friends--who also became ours--called us immediately if they were concerned about him. I have a master's degree in nursing and attended many visits with him with his doctors. All of that is to say that, despite living far away, we had a close relationship with him, his tight-knit group of local friends, and stayed very knowledgeable about him and his needs over decades, not just months. The hospice he used before Arista treated us as team members with easy communication back and forth, always including him. He changed to Arista to follow a beloved care provider, a move we supported. But at Arista, there was a palpably hostile attitude in administration toward coordinating and communicating with us and that intermittently flowed downstream to care providers. We held both his POA and MPOA and had witnessed in person, at his invitation, his advanced care directives and related documents--evidence of his ongoing trust. Nevertheless, we were clear from Arista our involvement was neither wanted nor needed re: his physical, emotional, spiritual or social care, a notably different approach than with the hospice before Arista or the hospice that followed Arista. Both of those recognized the strong relationship and welcomed us by phone and in person as his family and resources who could help bridge information on his life and health history. It may be a different experience for those who live in the same area as the hospice patient, but if you live far away, I would not recommend Arista. For whatever reason, they were clearly not interested in family involvement. When relatives age, family bonds can suffer if not fostered. For whatever reason, Arista clearly didn't see that as a goal. We were with him in his last days, surrouded by the incredible support of a different hospice, and it was clear to us he was relieved as well, as he'd already quietly told us that--while he enjoyed Arista staff and knew they were dedicated--the care was "not the best."

Recently my wonderful mom fell and needed rehab. Sadly, her health declined after having surgery…read moreto repair her broken leg. She was 92. Although she was declining, she had a lot of life in her left to enjoy until her body gave out. I placed her at Devon Gables with hopes of good care, and friendly staff. I can honestly say that they exceeded my expectations. Every time I visited someone was caring for her. They never just forgot about her. They got her up every day and interacted with her. She was truly happy. She was always clean and her room was clean and the staff all expressed how much they enjoyed getting to know her. About 20 years ago my husband's grandfather was also there. Things were good then, but even better now. Thank you to all the staff that cared for mom.

Kelly, the sales manager, was so empathic and kind. He promised us that our Dad would have the best care around the clock. Nurse Sandy and her caregiver staff have been there for years, some over 10 year. Marbella and Troy were amazing, kind, caring, respectful, listened and truly cared about our fathers well being! Anytime he/we rang for assistance, they were there in a minute with more than one person. Our goal for our father was to live in a peaceful, caring place, and Amber Lights was certainly that. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are quiet and cozy. The dinning room is beautiful and the food is delicious! We believe this is the best home for our father in the area, and this was confirmed by every staff member we met. Thank you Amber Lights for being there for our family.
