On my road trip up to Alberta from California, I was pleased to find Peppi's: a well-rated pizza joint in Invermere where my boyfriend and I were staying for the night. Yelp, I've actually never been so let down, so I'm going to make this review short and to the point. I'm a crusty crust, golden gooey cheese pizza kind of girl. Sadly, Peppi's did not deliver. My small Italian pizza could have definitely used more time in the oven to develop a crispier crust and more melty/browned cheese. The toppings were a sparse; on my small pizza cut into four slices, there was only one piece of sausage per slice. The dry spice rub half rib dinner was disappointing as well. The meat was dry and the only flavor my boyfriend and I could taste was akin to Tabasco sauce. My two stars are for the friendly service and pretty good draft beer. read more

This pizzeria was within walking distance from our hotel so we walked there for an early dinner. As someone else posted they have an early bird special if you order before 5:30 p.m. Unfortunately, we just got there after 5:30 so no luck on the special. However, we had luck on our side when it comes to getting a table. Since it is a small place, getting a table without having to wait at prime dinner time is always a plus. We ended up ordering the BBQ Back Rib Za pizza and it only comes in one size (Large) as it is advertised to have meat pulled from a full rack of baby back rib in it. The pizza tasted great and I loved the crust. At $31, it is on the expensive side and I was thinking to myself if it in fact has a full rack worth of meat in there. We also ordered a salad and a beer but the focus in a pizzeria was the pizza. read more

We decided to get pizza on New Years Eve while we were in Invermere this year and Peppi's was recommended so we thought we would give it a shot. The have a huge variety of pizzas - even for vegetarians - which is fantastic. We decided to go with one of the early bird specials (had to make sure we ordered before 530 to get the special pricing); the Costa Rican (it's like a Hawaiian but with coconut on it - YUM); and a vegetarian. The pizzas were all a good size considering the price and they had lots of toppings on them. I only wish they had been a little crispier. But, the service was great. We phoned to change the time of pick up and they were very accommodating with the changes. The online menu gives you all the options but not the information on the early bird special - I had to phone in for that information. I'm sure everyone in town knows about it but being that this is a bit of touristy location, I wish that info had been online as well. But, still they didn't hesitate in offering me the deal even though I wasn't picking up until way after the deal was over. So, if you're in Invermere and in the mood for pizza try one of the unique choices at Peppi's.... you won't be sorry you did! read more

An Invermere staple! We make a visit to Peppis every time we are in town. The pizza is delicious, with ingredients for all palettes. Gluten free crust is an extra $4 which is kind of a bummer, hoping one day it's less expensive to accommodate gluten free needs! I would also love to see them using locally sourced ingredients when possible - no mention of that on the menu. Most recently I had the vegetarian gluten free pizza. It was full of vegetables and lots of cheese, very tasty! Lastly, I appreciate that they avoid the use of plastic straws (the little things to be eco-friendly are nice to see!). read more

The pizza here is a mishmash of killer toppings and unique takes on old favourites. I will definitely be back for more of this. Take a seat on the patio and take in the mountain view while choosing from a large assortment of offerings. We started the meal with an arugula salad with candied pecans and raspberry balsamic dressing. It was all excellent. What an amazing pizza peppis makes!! We recently visited Invermere (from the States) and while in town had the good fortune to hear about Peppi's. Everyone in town told us we had to try it - best pizza in town. I agree, it is truly awesome pizza! Not only did we stop by for dinner once - but twice in a week. The menu selection is huge. There is a pie for everyone! If you somehow doing find something that tickles your fancy, they will make a custom pie for you. They have a great staff, selection of beers and wine and it is situated on a quiet street in the middle of town. I'm looking forward to coming back to Invermere for many reasons, one of which is Peppies! read more

Love this place. This place was my go to after climbing, biking, skiing, seeing movies, whatever. Sometimes I'd just fill my truck with people and drive down after work to get a night of pizza in. I left Invermere in 2010 to study and work in Toronto for the next few years. While I've found some exceptional pizza here, nothing compares to Peppi's Ensalada Verde. I estimate that I've eaten about 50 of them between 2008 and 2010. Easily. I miss it dearly. When you're in Invermere and you want good pizza or just want good food served by nice people who care about serving you (and there aren't many places in the valley that does) go to Peppi's. read more

Cute little place in Invermere BC. Had the Peppi special which was like a deluxe pizza with ground beef--very average. And because you can have a medium size or large size made half and half we ordered half with BBQ chicken, pesto, and jalapeños which was delicious. The regular crust was pretty thick and doughy so I would try the thin crust next time. There's limited patio space and it seems like it's usually pretty busy. read more

First visit to this establishment, food was awesome! This is a very busy little place with 8 tables inside and an additional 7 or 8 tables on the patio. Service was great considering how busy they are. It seems to be a popular place, as the tables had no time to get cold before the next group was seated. We will definitely return. read more

Amazing service! Very friendly and attentive. Came in with our toddler and they were prompt with service so we could get in and out before her bedtime. Pizza was raved about on yelp by many. It was tasty but I wouldn't say it was authentic Italian pizza or the best in town. Even though it's not in invermere, we loved Hopkins Harvest The Market in Windermere for pizza. The ceaser salad was really good and I loved the dressing. They are very accommodating for add ins and half half pizzas. They also have a large and interesting menu which does cater to all desires and taste buds. You won't be unhappy with your meal or the atmosphere here that's for sure! read more

Just like hot tubs, wineskins, and sore calves, great pizza and copious jugs of beer just seem to go with skiing! You will find both at this curiously-authentic Pizzeria just off the main drag (behind the post office) in Invermere. (I say curiously authentic because there are no signs the proprietors are Italian - the founder is from Saskatchewan for gawd's sake...) "Rider pride" notwithstanding, this is an awesome pizza joint! Very warm, intimate and tasty! The crust and sauce got especially high marks from my family. The menu is extensive, and covers not only the traditional favorites, but also some new-and-unusual pizza toppings. The decor is nice, again surprisingly "little Italy" in atmosphere, and the service is friendly and personable. Highly recommended for a hungry family, or a bunch of college buds! read more

Walking into Peppis you know it is going to be something special, always busy with locals, a neat out of the way location. The initial smells are of great Italian food bring freshly prepared, the decor is old but classic, Peppis never try's to be anything other then a great local eatery. The service is great the food amazing!, the Pizza is some of the best I have ever had, good local beer on tap too. Going downstairs down a long dark winding hallway to the washrooms is like something out of an old Mob movie. Give Peppis a try you will not be disappointed. read more

In town for a week and hungry for Pizza, I turned to Yelp for the best reviews. You did it again Yelp, pizza here is off the hook awesome! These are close to pan style pizzas with plenty of choices for toppings. Pies come in three sizes, small, medium, large. The wife and I split a large and took half home, so a medium will easily cover two people. Salad choices are excellent with very fresh greens. They could use more choices of draft beer, they only had one which was a Kolsch, and it was very tasty. I'm sure we'll be back since we're here for a week. read more

This place has the second best pizza I have ever had! The pizza has lots of cheese and it is a great tasting cheese as well. The meat was in nice, big thick slices. One of our pizzas had coconut on it and this was awesome. That pizza was the Costa Rican. The medium pizzas are very big and we took some home for a midnight snack! This place doesn't "cheap out" on making their pizza which is what so many of the chain pizza places tend to do. The crust was interesting as well as is appeared to have some sort of spices added to it. They have some nice selections of craft beer as well. The only downside was our table was a bit crowded to hold all the pizza. Well defiantly return to this place! read more

Amazing pizza at Peppi's Italian Food! YUM! I'd highly recommend The Costa Rican which is a superb combination of sweet and spicy made of ham, pineapple, coconut, and banana peppers. This place would have gotten four stars if it wasn't for the horrendous service. It was busy, but that seems to be normal around here. We sat and waited for our plates to be cleared and the bill for 20 minutes. The services would just look at the table and walk by. They should be staffed up or at least have friendlier staff.
