Doesn't look like much when you pass by but I was dying of hunger and this 'hole-in- the-wall' place was the only one open. What is a person to do when hunger is the driver? So I i go and order a 10" pizza. There was a 25 min wait. What? Really? The place was super busy because everyone was driven by the same desperation- the need for food. I said to myself this was not an indication of popularity but a last resort. So fingers crossed I waited for my pizza. Twenty five minutes later I was rushing back to my room to devour that pizza, great or disappointing my hunger didn't care. Just into my second piece, I was like 'wow!' I stayed a night in Radium Hotsprings, and asked the motel staff for a recommendation. They suggested Wildside Pizza. The staff were very friendly and polite, my pizza was ready right on time, and the pizza was... perfect! The crust was exactly how I like it, the cheese was tasty, and there were plenty of toppings! After having a three cheese pizza and a Caesar salad I would have to say that the reviewers do not know what pizza and salad are supposed to taste like. The pizza tasted like a bad frozen pizza. We could only eat two pieces. The salad was drowned out with lots of dressing, croutons and bacon pieces. The dressing did not taste like Caesar dressing but more like bacon. Went here at 9pm on Friday night and was told the pita pizza and Caesar salad would take 45 mins as they were slammed. I figured it wold be delish if so many people wanted to eat here. 40 mins later I got my salad which was really good but a few mins later the pita pizza had only 2 of the 8 toppings. They apologized and were going to rectify it but I already waited so long that I just asked for my money which they promptly returned. They were very friendly and pleasant plus good salad so that's why I rated some stars but the long wait and failure to deliver cost the additional stars. Toasty hot Hawaiian pizza really hit the spot after the hot springs. Called in the order and it was ready pretty much when we got there.

Ordered two pizzas, first custom, second was a hawaiian without cheese (my wife is lactose intolerant and they don't have any lactose-free options or substitutes - totally acceptable in a small-town operation), along with two ranch dips. Cashier got the order wrong when she read it back to me, and forgot the ranch dips. No big deal, and I repeated myself. Paid what appeared to be a cheap price, and then realized when we got the order that she made the wrong pizza cheeseless, and totally forgot the entire second pizza. If order came as advertised, I would have rated three stars. Definitely make sure their understanding of your order matches what you actually want, if you end up with a pizza craving in Radium. read more

Ok - little known fact - small towns sometimes have the best darn pizza. And Wildside is part of this pizza tribe goodness. We ordered take out here after a weekend of riding in Radium. The pizzas were slightly deeper dish, a silly and ridiculous amount of toppings and served smoking' hot and fast. We will definitely hit this place again if we are ever in town. The pizza we got here was phenomenal. The crust was perfect, sauce exceptional and toppings delicious and fresh. The owner Aaron was extremely kind and friendly, giving a small town welcoming feel. He offered to drive me back to my vacation stay home and did so with a smile.
