Not here!! They cater for us vegans who love a cheeky almond milk latte in the morning. Their takeaway cups are Lavazza so I assume they also use their beans. It's a nice blend: not too bitter, not too tasteless and complete with almond milk, it's a feast for the senses. I have yet to try their food hence my 4-star verdict, however if it's anything like their coffee, I'd be more than willing to give them a 5-star review. The staff are friendly and I've been going so frequently they know my order by heart! Great cafe for those in the area who don't travel to the CBD during the week.

A 'flat white' is normally not literally white! The 'crema' on the top was white with not a tinge of brown and it tasted over milky as well.

The Topiary is located Newman's Nursery, and is a picturesque setting from what we could see in the dark. Keep an eye out while driving down Northeast Road at night so that you don't miss the driveway as the lighting on that road is pretty dim. Once inside, there is ample parking, and you'll likely be greeted on the way up to the restaurant by a friendly, vocal cat that hangs around. We enjoyed an excellent six course meal, each meal being made from locally sourced or foraged ingredients and paired with a different wine. One of the standouts for me was the sou-vide egg with pork belly and forest mushrooms. At the end, the chef introduced himself and talked about the final dessert item, garnishing it with a sprinkle of carrot seeds from the garden. It was a nice touch, and we were all very appreciative of the hard work and attention to detail that went into the food. This was a really good night! The food was excellent and the staff were welcoming and attentive, but not needy. The building has a real rustic charm to it, and my only regret was that we couldn't go out to see the outdoors as it was dark and freezing. I'm looking forward to coming here for breakfast or lunch some time and see the place during daylight hours.
