Well at least they did with us. I've also been to several weddings here, it's a really nice venue. Especially if people put lights up and have a dusk wedding OMG Parking is free, cheaper than therapy, wonderful break from the rat race. This is by far my favorite place in Orange County to just unplug.

There are paved pathways so it's easy to push a stroller or to bike or roller skate throughout this park. There is a good amount of parking for your car depending on which park entrance you choose. There's lots of nature life and greenery here so it makes for a fun place to go on a walk or have a picnic with the family - there is both large grass areas available and a plethora of picnic tables.

There's a playground, splash pad area with outdoor shower, giant tree house with slide, waterslide, and ziplining. You need to make reservations for the weekends but parking is free. When I came, the waterslide and splash pad area were closed for maintenance. But it was still pretty crowded for a Tuesday! Will definitely come back to check out the rest of the amenities.

In the summer, there's a splash pad and even a water slide. There are different sections to play in, including a small baseball area, swings and a zip line. The perimeter is fenced in so kids can't run off out of the area. The bathrooms are clean and spacious, with plenty of room to change after the water play. It is adjacent to another park, so there is plenty of parking nearby. If you've got kids, this park is definitely worth a visit! It's backed up and center of the canyon mountains in the back. One of my fav new park. It's really nice here. Had a playdate here on Sunday 1.07.24. Has 2 pickle ball courts and a basketball. Great for bike riding around the park or walking. They have a gazebo w lots of tables and benches. When we came it was a bit breezy. Saw a few people bring kites to fly. Love that idea. Lots of field space to do that. I'll be bringing my kite here next time. Box Canyon Park has A *Little Library" available for a good read while spending time at the park or can donate a book if you'd like when coming here. Very clean park along w the restrooms and it's near the playground. Not far at all. They restroom only has 2 stalls in the women's bathroom. Has a soap dispenser. Only street parking available. There are 2 zip line and a few park structures to enjoy. 1 gazebo with 4 concrete picnic tables. Near the gazebo is 2 built in bbq grill and a sink between on like a small prep station. Love how the gazebo shelter and restroom along with the playground are all near each other: not far from parking too. Playground is filled w wood chips. A basketball court. A baseball field. Park is pretty clean n spacious with lots of shades. Through out the park. Bike/walk trails. It is near the River biking/walking trail also that you can ride all the way to the beach I was told. I deducted a star due to the woman's restroom didn't have any doors to the restroom. Really weird they don't have doors. No privacy whatsoever. Not sure why there are no doors on bathroom stalls make it really uneasy. Didn't know this park even existed! Located right behind on the side of Kaiser medical office building i come to off Lakeview Blvd. The park is off Riverdale. Parking isn't too big. Not sure where the overflow of park cars would park at. There is a neighborhood across the streets. FYI # To call to reserve Shelter Gazebo 714-765-5191. I like how they write on the display sign of the shelter has been reserved already.

I've seen many people bring a blanket and sit under the shade of the trees. When there are no parties the shelter is a great place to sit. There's a handful of benches around the playground but I think more seating would be nice.

Yet it is so scenic with lakes, trees, bridges, greenery, and even duckies. I saw few people fishing, some exercising, and most just strolling and enjoying the scenery. Expect to wait about one hour between games during peak hours. - Restrooms don't have paper towels. - There's only one drinking water fountain here. No water bottle refill station. - Only one seated toilet in the men's restroom. - I don't like the fence design surrounding the pb courts. Have to walk/run all the way around to get to the court you're next on. One or two doors along the fence would've been nice.

And it's really well-maintained. The rubber mats aren't good shape. They have the areas pretty well separated for a little kids and big kids. You've got the big kid swings over by the big kids playground in the small kid swings over by the small kid playground in between there is a rock climbing station And a small little house with a dirt patch for kids to play in. Game changer though? Did someone say zip line? There was a line of kids waiting to give themselves a chance at swinging across the zip line. Definitely a new staple for the family. Also, plenty of shade parking.
