I LOVE THIS PARK. I come here to get away from life. Beautiful place with plenty to explore. It's huge, with scenic spots throughout, including several beautiful lakes that make for a peaceful place to walk around and enjoy the views. My favorite part is all the way at the end of the park, where it gets much more forested and peaceful. They have Swan Boats here! They look fun so I gotta try it next time. It's also a great spot for birdwatching. There are plenty of birds and waterfowls throughout the park, especially around the lakes and more wooded areas, so bring your binoculars or camera if you're into birding. Whether you're looking for a scenic walk, some quiet time outdoors, or a good place to spot birds, there's something for everyone here. read more

Lots of public restrooms available throughout the park. Lots of kids playgrounds - different sizing for all ages. There are paved pathways so it's easy to push a stroller or to bike or roller skate throughout this park. There is a good amount of parking for your car depending on which park entrance you choose. There's lots of nature life and greenery here so it makes for a fun place to go on a walk or have a picnic with the family - there is both large grass areas available and a plethora of picnic tables. read more

The park is a condensed work of art in an almost rectangle/oval shape area landscape. There were ponds, playgrounds, fields, bridges, diamonds, benches, group areas, restrooms, parking areas, and plenty of room for walking on the designated trails. When I say trails, this is not a mountain hike or anything. This is a very walk-friendly, little to no elevation, peaceful, family-friendly, dog-friendly, easy and scenic walk. I paid five dollars to get in and park. Every now and then you may see a friendly squirrel. When you walk along the backside, you can see civilization, as I call it. But when you head back to the center, you are taken away by the trees, ponds, ducks, bridges, and people enjoying their free time. I will be back again, it is a nice park. read more

I love this park. Typically my go to park is Irvine regional park in Orange, but this one has become our new favorite. There are always spots available. Plenty of parking. I think the biggest downside to the park is that the entrance line can get really long and there's only one way to enter. We like to picnic and BBQ and we always feel secluded because of how much available space there is. read more

Visited for the first time. Beautiful park to take the kids. My toddler was able to scooter around the entire pond. Very stroller friendly. TONS of benches. A couple of playgrounds which my daughter enjoyed as well. They have bikes and boats to rent. People were also fishing in the pond. There are ducks, geese, and herons if you enjoy seeing the birds. Parking is $5 on the weekend. Felt that it was worth ir given how nice this park is. Definitely making it a regular outing spot on our list. read more

We also attend this park for meetups sometimes. This park is closer to where my girlfriend lives. I meet up with her to do workouts on weekends sometimes. The have awesome running and walking trails. Picnic areas are cool, and they have playgrounds for children as well. They are also pet friendly. You must visit Yorba Regional Park. read more

Really love this local regional park. We took our dogs here and they had a blast. The lakes are very well maintained and the park has beautiful landscaping. We also did a marathon here this past Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun. Really can't wait to come back to do some biking! read more

A vastly nice neighborhood park to do all your physical activities in! Conveinently nestled in Yorba Linda, this park offers a lot of open space when you want to take a break from the day and just spend some time with the beautiful greenery here. One cute thing about this park is there are a lot of squirrels on some paths and lots of ducks, geese, and everything else in between. There's a good breeze and the sunlight seems to hit at the right spots here...no matter what time of day you're here. You can feel like a million bucks after spending time at this park. And the visitors here is basically everyone, lots of families and bigger groups if there's a game or event going on, but off days, it's a calming place to take your walks. There isn't a whole lot of challenging walks here - it's mostly flat, but there's a lot of ground to walk though here, depending on your chosen path. There are public restrooms here throughout the park and are very clean. Washing stations are outside the bathrooms and there is plenty of soap and water. Pet-friendly park as well. Only thing this park is only a 4-star for me is because this park is directly parallel to the Santa Ana River Walk and the 91 Freeway, so no matter where you are at the center of the park, you will hear and catch a glimpse of the the cars speeding through the freeway if you look beyond the trees - you can't entirely ignore it. And it can be distracting if you happen to notice it as I do when I'm here. Lots of parking here, so just pick a spot and enjoy your visit! read more

Came here for a long walk on Sunday and had a lovely time. It's a really big park that's very long and narrow with lots to see including a lake. There's some paid parking closer to the main entrance but out on the edges there's a free gravel lot! Get there early on the weekends before it fills up. It was very clean and easy to navigate the paved loop as we walked around. There was also plenty of shade. read more

Such a beautiful and quiet park. I havent visited on the weekend yet though. I ride my bike so I dont pay for parking. I think thats why the park isnt crowded, because there is other parks with free parking. Tons of bathrooms, plenty of tables, lots of fields and various playgrounds, recreation areas, soooo many trees it feels like youre in a forest. One of my favorite OC parks. It's right next to the Santa Ana River trail, so if you're looking to run or bike it, you can actually park in the free parking lot right next to the baseball fields. The rest of the parking lots have a fee to enter. It costs $3 on the weekdays and $5 on the weekends, with a slight increase during holidays. There's lots of picnic tables, some covered, clean restrooms, playgrounds & jungle gyms, volleyball nets, and the lake rents out paddle boats. It's a great park for any occasion. read more

We usually just ride by here on the bike trail but stopped by a few times with our dog recently when it's too hot to hike on the weekend. There's been plenty of free parking and lots of shade with nobody else around in the late afternoon. We walk about a mile from the lot to the car wash in about 75% shade with no geese in this part of the park so it's a lot cleaner. read more

Very cute & well kept park. There are MANY, MANY dogs & dog parents that walk them in the morning & evenings. We love this park but my large breed Dobie can be quite a bit with all the scents here. Overstimulated but loves this park. Plenty of restrooms & benches as well as trashcans (I find very important). The riverbed is also right there with plenty of cyclists. This is the BEST park in OC!!! I've been going to this park for 10+ years. It's beautiful - surrounded by trails, ponds, and playgrounds. The park is very clean and well managed. You can find trashcans everywhere and also see the park staff cleaning up when they're driving by. I try to take my dog here every day. She loves it as there are plenty of squirrels. I'd also like to give a huge thanks to the park rangers and everyone at this park. I dropped my car keys running around with my dog last week and I spent HOURS looking for it. Someone ended up returning it to the office and a park ranger returned it to me. THANK YOU! read more

As good as it gets! I came on a weekday and paid $3 for parking. I did my research and found this is a popular spot for bird watching. I saw quite a few favorite birds! The two large lakes were my favorite to photograph. I would love to come back in the fall! read more

A great park with a lot to offer. This park is vast in size with several parking lots. Located off La Palma between Weir Canyon and Imperial the span is amazing! The grounds are well kept and there is a lot of room for parties, peacefulness, fishing, sports, and healthy exercise. There are baseball fields, bathrooms, trails (paved), playgrounds, water activities to rent, picnic tables, covered areas, and grills to cook on. There are ducks, swans and squirrels running around. before i moved to texas, i lived about 5 mins away from this park. Out of all the parks i've been to, i think this is the nicest one. It has something for everyone. Hiking trails, bike paths, playground, ponds to feed ducks (even though they tell you not to), baseball fields and areas for bbq and picnics. I don't know if they still do this, but back in the days you can rent a bike or pedal boat and enjoy the surrounding area. I've been here for photoshoots and its a nice place to take photos. As for bbq and larger gatherings, i think you need a permit or pay the park X dollars to rent one of the spaces. I rarely pay for parking, and park at the baseball fields area, since the parking is free and walk around the park. It takes about 5 mins to walk from the baseball fields to the ponds. read more

We rented a swan boat for one hour transaction ) and paid $45. However, the life jackets provided were in an extremely poor and unhygienic condition. One of them had a strong foul smell and visible vomit stains. It was very disturbing and unacceptable, especially considering that children were with us. We requested to switch the remaining time to the surrey bike but the staff member refused and was extremely rude and uncooperative. We were forced to pay an additional $20, despite our valid concern and poor experience with the boat equipment. I am very disappointed with both the lack of cleanliness and the behavior of your employee. This experience was not only uncomfortable but also unsafe. read more

The Yorba Linda Regional park is as pristine and beautiful as it was 4 years ago, the first time I went there. There are so many picnic tables and benches, awesome sceneries, and facilities to use the restrooms. The park is also full of different types of live birds and squirrels. They are so pretty! Then there's a rental place for bike, surreys, pedal swans, and canoes. If I live closer to the park, I would probably be there more frequently. read more

Beautiful lake and stream system amongst multiple playgrounds. There are even woodsy areas. Ample shade abounds. Seems like there would be ample parking on weekends. Picnic tables and shelters for rent and free use intertwined between trees, lakes and streams. Park is long and just wide enough to comfortably trek all your gear from parking lot to far side of park. Bathrooms are clean and park is beautifully maintained. Lots of ducks, geese and squirrels. Playground equipment is maintained as well with multiple sets amongst the intertwined picnic areas. This is a five-star park equally maintained as Irvine park but without the acreage. read more

Great park! We love to park at the baseball field (free) and walk to the park from there. There's several playgrounds (they're very dirty), your kids will love it. Duck poop everywhere, wear close toed shoes. Lots of cute ducks and geese to look at! Beware of squirrels! $10 permit to fish, must be 16+ 5 fish limit, catch and release bass. I really like that they have grills. There is workout equipment on the far left side of the main park entrance! Best to bring a picnic lunch and drinks. Lots of room to play to go on a nice walk. It's pretty safe, never see people loitering or sleeping at the park. Bathrooms are kept pretty nice by the baseball field. Weekends are usually very busy with parties filling the canopy areas. Came here for a walk with my dog. We parked outside of the park, so the parking is free. There are paid Parkin available inside the park. There are ponds/lakes. I saw people fishing here. Paddle boats are available, but I don't know how much it costs. There are plenty of playgrounds, volleyball fields, and baseball fields throughout the park. This is very beautiful park, and very clean. There are free plastic poo bags available everywhere in the trail if you forgot to bring yours. Will come back again. read more

Beautiful park. There's one entrance and one road that goes all the way around the park. You have to pay an entrance fee to go in. It varies by the day. I paid $5 for a summer Saturday. You can't go in and out. They take visa, Mastercard, debit card and cash. No discover or Amex. Their hours also change depending on the season, so check beforehand to see their hours of operation. Speed limit is 10MPH. There are plenty of tables. I went for a birthday party that was at shelter 7. It was confusing getting there since the map wasn't that clear, but overall it's a really nice park. Lots of open area. Lots of playgrounds all over. It was dog friendly. Cleanish bathrooms. I had to stop driving about 3 times on the way to shelter 7 from the entrance since geese kept crossing in front of me. Totally recommend. It's just far from me, but looked like it had everything you'd want in a park. read more

One of my new favorite parks! I've recently discovered the joys of reading outside and have been actively visiting a lot of parks around OC for some relaxing down time. This gem of a park has it all! There are 2 bodies of water (one of them has swan boats!), lots of open space to picnic, tables for parties, and trails for biking or walking. Stopping by on a weekend, I saw families hosting birthday parties, riding bikes, fishing, picnicking, walking dogs, or just chilling and enjoying the vibes! I live 2 miles away so we like to come here for our walks with our pup. Weekends are usually very packed because of the kids baseball games but it's still peaceful to walk around since it's so huge. Great park with lots of things to do. We had our baby shower here and rented a gazebo with a bbq which fit 150 people located right next to the play ground and lake which was perfect. You can rent paddle boats on the lake or play at the play ground which is perfect for everyone. Beautiful location in Yorba Linda. Highly recommend this park for a day or event. read more

Be Careful if you decide to visit the Yorba Regional park trail. Found a bat walking on the ground. It's possible it could be rabid. Bat was found July 8th 2023 near the Santa Ana trail on the dirt path. Bats usually exhibit this unusual behavior of walking on the ground when they are infected with the rabies virus. read more

This is a huge park with lots to do. The entrance fee on a Saturday afternoon was $5! It's pretty packed on a Saturday afternoon, even if it's overcast. There were a lot of family picnics going on. There's a rental area for tandem bikes and swan boats for a fee. Around $40/hour. Great walking area to get your steps in.
