"It's nine o'clock on a Saturday!" Wait! What?...oh..."It's one o'clock on a Saturday!" Time flies…read morewhen you're cleaning the house... Saturday afternoon and I have been cleaning house for about 5 hours - don't judge. Started getting hungry and there was not a whole lot to choose from in the pantry or fridge - couldn't make myself eat the week old sub sandwich leftovers or overcooked chicken kabobs from last Thursday. I was thinking about calling another Chinese take-out we frequently visit, but I have gotten kind of tired of their flavors and the questionable quality of the food - used to be our go-to. Smyrna's China Tokyo only has 5 reviews - this is number 6, but I guess you could add that up yourself. I started to phone it in, but - how do I say this - I don't have much luck over the phone with oriental people. At least at the restaurant I can point. Plus they always seemed rushed - "What else!" OK! - What else!" OK! What else!"That all? - 20 minutes!" I got the Garlic Chicken with fried rice and eggroll and the wife got General Tso with white rice and eggroll. When I first opened the carton my first thought was "Wow, this looks fresh!" I know some things are held over a steam table like the rice, but the entrée was obviously just cooked. I had never had garlic chicken and was very pleased with the flavors. I realize in a taste test you probably could not tell the difference in flavors from one dish to the next. This tasted very similar to King Pao chicken I have had at other places. My wife really liked her General Tso - much better than the heavily breaded version at our other go-to place. I was planning on eating half and having the rest for dinner - well let's just say I had to have something else for dinner. At the other place - when we get 2 lunches - it costs over $15. They are $2.00 more per meal, but you do get those handy little plastic to-go containers for storing left-overs in the fridge. The total cost for two lunches was about $10.50 and that included tax. They even have certain lunches for $3.99! I wanted to have it again the next day, but they are closed Sundays. During a subsequent visit I was paying with my debit card. What is apparently the owners children were doing homework and helping out. This pint size little cutie who could not even see over the front counter or be more than 6 years old walks over and runs my card! I keep waiting for mom to come from the back and take it from her, but she's like, "You sign her please sir!"

The restaurant also has other merchandise for sale (which is a little different). Today I ordered the General Tso chicken lunch special with an eggroll. Their lunch specials are priced right under $10 with tax, which isn't terrible. Overall, the food was pretty good. Next time I will probably have them turn the heat up a little bit. The chicken was really good. The rice was not bad at all. The eggroll on the other hand was just OK.

I've been coming to this spot for a while now, and it's hands down my go-to for Chinese takeout…read more For lunch, I ordered the House Lomein, General Tso's chicken, and upgraded my white rice to fried rice. The food never disappoints! The General Tso's is perfectly crispy, coated in just the right amount of thick, flavorful sauce, and served with some fresh broccoli. If you like heat, their extra spicy option delivers just the right kick. Don't expect much in terms of ambiance--most people grab their food to go--but what they lack in dine-in atmosphere, they make up for with fast service and consistently great food. Plus, parking is never an issue since it's in a busy strip mall near Kroger off Sam Ridley. If you're craving solid Chinese takeout, definitely give them a try. You won't be disappointed!

The chicken was very good with a nice spice to it. The rice was OK, and thankfully the sauce carried it a long way. They have fast friendly service, and my order was ready when I arrived. My food was nice and hot, and the portions are generous. They have over 30 lunch specials Tue-Sat until 3pm, all for just for a little over $9 with tax. The restaurant has a typical ambience of your common small, smaller Chinese restaurants. I will definitely return and try some of the different options.

When considering my most recent experience, our pizzas were all-in-all fairly good (opinion…read morenaturally varying here in accordance with one's general liking (or nah) of Papa Johns). However, both large pizzas that comprised our order were more-or-less botched... When customizing our order, a few friends and I chose to order two pizzas and 'split' both pizzas into two separate halves, each having its own unique set of toppings--this gave us more variety as we all preferred different various toppings. When ordering via the app, splitting a pizza in this way is absolutely no biggie... when the ordering cadence asks you to choose your desired toppings, you simply click the icon illustrating a 'split' pizza with two separate halves (vs. default selection--an icon depicting a whole pizza receiving a single set of toppings) and proceed by selecting your desired toppings for each half/side. To be succinct... when our order arrived and was subsequently unboxed, it was quite clear that the ONLY similarity between what we ordered and what we received was the # of pizzas they delivered. ‍ On a totally separate occasion, I went to the store to pick up an order that was placed online. The order was submitted fairly late in the evening/night, yet prior to their closing time. One of the three employees who were all huddled together in the back came to the register and informed me that "the order was cancelled" without further explanation. As I walked outside to call and doublecheck with the friend whose order I was picking up, I heard/saw the employees lock the door and turn off the store's lights. I discovered that my friend had NOT canceled the order, and I am fairly certain I was lied to by the store's employees.

She is so rude and not understanding at all. She screamed at me on the phone. When I told her my situation she was so rude and was not up to giving suggestions.
