Orange chicken is absolutely amazing! The sauce is sweet and spicy. I've had it for the last 2 days and both times it tasted amazing.

Blah! The food was not good at all. The noodles were very thick. I will not be going back.

Be mindful are closed on Tuesday. While small, the restaurant, poppers, and seating, restroom, and has nice decor. Today I placed it to go order telephone. I got the General Tso's chicken with hibachi fried rice, and decided to try out their hot and sour soup. The chicken and fried rice were both delicious. And the soup was fantastic. Today I was able to catch their lunch special which they have numerous options to choose from at a whopping $7.50 p.t. I mean honesty you can't beat it. Today I learned that they actually have family parts available for two, three or four people. And the prices were fairly reasonable.

I ordered the orange chicken lunch special along with a small shrimp fried rice. The orange chicken was really good, but the fried rice was actually the highlight for me. This is probably the first Chinese restaurant I've had in the area that serves the kind of fried rice I prefer, rather than the yellow rice that seems to be common at many of the Chinese spots around here. The shrimp fried rice had good flavor, although I definitely would have liked to see more shrimp in it. Still, it was enjoyable and paired really well with the orange chicken. The service was exceptional and a relatively shorty wait time. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back to try more of the menu items.

"It's nine o'clock on a Saturday!" Wait! What?...oh..."It's one o'clock on a Saturday!" Time flies…read morewhen you're cleaning the house... Saturday afternoon and I have been cleaning house for about 5 hours - don't judge. Started getting hungry and there was not a whole lot to choose from in the pantry or fridge - couldn't make myself eat the week old sub sandwich leftovers or overcooked chicken kabobs from last Thursday. I was thinking about calling another Chinese take-out we frequently visit, but I have gotten kind of tired of their flavors and the questionable quality of the food - used to be our go-to. Smyrna's China Tokyo only has 5 reviews - this is number 6, but I guess you could add that up yourself. I started to phone it in, but - how do I say this - I don't have much luck over the phone with oriental people. At least at the restaurant I can point. Plus they always seemed rushed - "What else!" OK! - What else!" OK! What else!"That all? - 20 minutes!" I got the Garlic Chicken with fried rice and eggroll and the wife got General Tso with white rice and eggroll. When I first opened the carton my first thought was "Wow, this looks fresh!" I know some things are held over a steam table like the rice, but the entrée was obviously just cooked. I had never had garlic chicken and was very pleased with the flavors. I realize in a taste test you probably could not tell the difference in flavors from one dish to the next. This tasted very similar to King Pao chicken I have had at other places. My wife really liked her General Tso - much better than the heavily breaded version at our other go-to place. I was planning on eating half and having the rest for dinner - well let's just say I had to have something else for dinner. At the other place - when we get 2 lunches - it costs over $15. They are $2.00 more per meal, but you do get those handy little plastic to-go containers for storing left-overs in the fridge. The total cost for two lunches was about $10.50 and that included tax. They even have certain lunches for $3.99! I wanted to have it again the next day, but they are closed Sundays. During a subsequent visit I was paying with my debit card. What is apparently the owners children were doing homework and helping out. This pint size little cutie who could not even see over the front counter or be more than 6 years old walks over and runs my card! I keep waiting for mom to come from the back and take it from her, but she's like, "You sign her please sir!"

The restaurant also has other merchandise for sale (which is a little different). Today I ordered the General Tso chicken lunch special with an eggroll. Their lunch specials are priced right under $10 with tax, which isn't terrible. Overall, the food was pretty good. Next time I will probably have them turn the heat up a little bit. The chicken was really good. The rice was not bad at all. The eggroll on the other hand was just OK.

It's pretty neat to have a grocery store and restaurant combined that has the flexibility to offer some Thai and Asian food products to purchase to prepare at home. But to also have a quick bite to eat. Due to time constraints, I placed a to go order. I wish I could've stayed in dined in because the aromas of the rest was amazing. I ordered the chicken satay and vegetable spring rolls. The service was prompt and friendly. The ambience of the restaurant is nice and quaint and quiet. Upon arriving to my vehicle, I immediately started to dig in. The chicken satay was nice and hot and tasted very good. The fresh rolls were a little larger than most I've purchased in the past and they were definitely a hit. The peanut sauce added a perfect balance to this light dish. I can't wait to return, to actually dine in and try some of their other great looking food options that they have on the menu.

I stopped by to order takeout since it's close to my house and I was craving something spicy. I ordered the papaya salad combo with chicken wings and sticky rice. The papaya salad was a level 5 spicy and customized to my liking, with a balance of heat and sweetness. It was delicious, especially compared to their competitor near Stonecrest. The chicken wings were fried to a darker color, likely due to the use of oyster sauce, but they were flavorful and crispy. I'd recommend dining in if you have time--the bathrooms were well-lit and clean. When I arrived around 2 PM, I had missed the lunch rush, so it wasn't busy. If you do eat there, take some time to browse the market while you wait. They have a great selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, household items, and frozen goods like meatballs. Overall, the staff was friendly, and both the store and restaurant were clean.

The restaurant has a little comfy and cozy ambience with soft background music playing. I ordered chicken, chicken fresh rolls and chicken satay just to give them a gander. Definitely a hit and I really like the sauce that they were served with. The chicken satay was nice and moist, but it did lack just a smidgen of seasoning. Food was great as usual, however, when bill came there was a 25% gratuity added to my bill. When I brought it to the cashier's attention she said that it was standard for parties of 5 or more. I pointed out that the menu states 18%. I don't mind paying but the discrepancy was concerning. Cashier argues, I ask for a manager, she said none was there. She ended up voiding transaction and charging me 20% gratuity. Still not 18% so I questioned it again. After more arguing she changes to the 18%. And tells me to just leave now. Just disrespectful for no reason. Photos below. Please look at your receipts when dining here if you choose to. I believe me and my family were profiled.
