I had suffered some injuries related to sports and sitting in school all day was hurt. so I started seeing the doctors at MetroWest chiropractic and I did so for several years until I moved to New Hampshire in 2003... Incidentally, I wasn't able to find any practitioners up there that were as good, maybe I'm jaded :) I'm back in the area and my work situation significantly changed and I go into Boston 4-5 days per week, usually from Lincoln. But once or twice a week; especially if I've done something exceedingly stupid, I go in from the Framingham volunteer stop. This let's me be seen before or after work depending upon how my day goes. The offices are less than 5 minutes away from the Framingham train stop, just on the otherside of city hall. On a quiet day you're talking maybe 3 minutes. . They're right next to Metrowest Medical. or if you're familiar with the area, you might call it Framingham Union hospital. I mean literally the parking lots are right next to one another Anyways Dr Hartigan was one of the practitioners that cared for me I before moving to NH, I just make reference to that because I tell you what in all those years he's only gotten better and better. He's thoughtful. He's caring. his adjustments are not overly aggressive by any stretch of the imagination. But they provide SIGNIFICANT RELIEF.... SIGNIFICANT!! So it's still a breath and fresh air walking out of there. On another note, my mom has actually been going there since early '80s and like me shes seen several practitioners there. She goes once a week now and also sees Dr. Hartiagan. She'd write her own review but she's in her '70s and I'm not really interested in trying to teach her how to write reviews, lol. But she also told me to say that she loves Dr. Hartigan which is obvious because she continues to go and that, he's the best! My uncle's been going for I believe about 20+ years. he also goes about once a week. I see him in the office occasionally he's doing a lot of strenuous activity and he's also old like my mum. Don't tell him I said that though :P He sees Dr. Hartigan and swears by him too. So even though I hate going into Boston now, thanks boss, it's super convenient that MetroWest Chiropractic and Dr Hartigan are right near the Framingham train stop and I can get off the train and head over. I know if I need an unexpected appointment that they can fit me in. and that's really nice because that's the type of service that they've been providing as far back as I can remember. They also do Department of Transportation DOT examinations, for people that need to get their CDL licenses I don't know anything about those but there always seems to be someone there or arriving to get one done. He encouraged me to ask him any questions so that I can understand what and why the discomfort may be happening. In the 2nd appointment, he explained the test results and next steps to me in "common people's" terms. It was also my first adjustment and he worked on the area where I've been having discomfort for a while. Later that evening when I laid in bed, that area no longer gave me the discomfort! You will not find other skills like this in the area. She has what I suspect is both a 6th sense when it comes to locating pain, as well as really superb training. Lori applies just the right amount of pressure, and can work medium-lightly as well as doing very thorough deep tissue work. One of the other pluses--besides being very responsive to requests & attuned to pain-- is her gentle and soothing personality. Impossible to describe, but if ever there was a perfect tone you hoped to find in a masseuse, Lori has it. Very healing, peaceful, and competent. Going to see her is great therapy.
