    Cheddar Cheese Balls
    Noah K.

Been here a couple times but first time reviewing. This place never disappoints, such good food every time. The cheese balls are always a must have, melt in your mouth delicious. I got the Cajun burger this time. I typically don't order things like this but it sounded so good I just had to try it, and wow I was blown away. The burger was so good, the chipotle mayo was amazing. It wasn't as hot (spicy) as I was expecting so that was a relief. Service is always great here, never wait too long and always topping off drinks. We love the local photos and decorations in the restaurant. I always ask myself at the end of my reviews if I will be back, but I'm not gonna ask me this time. I definitely will be back.

Went to lunch with dad & stepmom, looking for someplace new. Wow, what a great place! Excellent service, and food was wonderful. Catfish filets/fries were great, as was the taco salad. There was a bit too much bread with the Reuben, as it was a double decker. Meat was a tad dry as well. Dad had a cup of chili as a soda, which he thought was a bit too salty. I however, thought it was just right. Taco salad was very good, also. Oh, and you have to get the footballs/potato croquettes! They were so good, as was the cheese sauce they were served with!! We'll be back!!

Excellent food. No matter what time we go, it's gets filled up quickly. Kitchen service can be a little slow. I've been there twice, and my bf's work group goes there often. I've had the sunrise burger and chicken fingers, both were good. The chicken fingers were meaty. When I was with bf, he had the twisted Ruben and grilled marinated chicken sandwich. The sauerkraut on the Ruben smelled funky, but damn was the whole thing good.

We were in Morton and saw this place on Yelp and decided to give a try. I started out with a bowl of Hamburger Soup and my guest had a bowl of chili. Both were very good. I also had the Ruben Sandwich and my guest had the patty melt with home fries. Both were very good. Tip: they do give a discount if you are paying with cash !

We decided to give Perdue's a try and showed up starving. We live in North Morton and the restaurant is 10 miles from our house- closer than a trip to Peoria. We chose Perdue's because of the reviews on Yelp, and the reviews are right- Perdue's has EXCELLENT FOOD and a large variety on the menu. I ordered the pulled pork horseshoe, my husband had the taco salad, and our son had the kids' cheeseburger. All were soooooooooooooooooooooooooo good and hit the spot! We will be back many more times!

I love the food here, large portions of upscale bar food for a very reasonable price. A gem for the middle of nowhere.

Always good and great service! It can get packed fast, so go early! 1/2 price pizza and wings on Sunday is our favorite!

Good food. My son claims they have the best horseshoe's in the world! Skip the salad and have a burger! Service is slow.

One of my favorite local pubs. Best horseshoe anywhere. Wings and pizza are good too. Good beer selection.

Booths can seat 6 guests and tables seat 4 guests. There is also full bar service and seating. The waitress answered our questions about the various menu items. We tried some sides and sandwiches as well as a couple of desserts. Mac n cheese was creamy and delicious. The tomato bisque soup was hot and thick. The broccolini was ok. It could have used some seasoning or a sprinkle of Parmesan. The grilled chicken club was very good. The skillet cookie was served warm with ice cream and chocolate fudge. The cinnamon sprinkled pretzels were 2 large pretzels with a light dusting of cinnamon and sugar accompanied by a chocolate and a caramel sauce. In my opinion the pretzels should have had a heavier dusting of cinnamon sugar mixture. They were also a little tough. Why not partner with another small business, Swanee's, and serve their amazingly soft pretzels? Or pretzel bites? I would dine here again and try some of the other entrees. Since it is still winter the rooftop seating is closed. The large windows overlook the shops and small businesses on the square.
