Yet, no one seemed to care that I was going to have to wait at least 30 minutes. This was a Sunday afternoon, and they open at noon. I had received a confirmation from the salon for my appointment time. WHY would you start a client, knowing you have a fairly regular client coming in in 15 minutes? I had two ladies taking turns to do my facial because they kept taking customers before me due to a shortage in staff. Every-time someone new came in they would stop my service to take care of a waxing or threading customer. A 45 minute facial took about 1.5 hours. To date, I have not received a refund or credit for the remaining balance of the service. Additionally, I was treated disrespectfully throughout the process. The director, Khadijah contacted me and, rather than working to resolve the matter professionally, attempted to argue with me about my concerns. She initially offered me a promotional service at another location to make up for the experience, but later withdrew that offer, stating she could not honor it. It appeared that the decision was made out of spite rather than as part of a fair resolution. Overall, I am disappointed with how this situation was handled. I expected professionalism, accountability, and appropriate customer service, but instead experienced poor communication, disrespect, and an unresolved issue.

I scheduled an appointment with Greg for some body hair removal. He sent me a note ahead of time inviting me to come early to take advantage of the sauna and steam room. The locker room was comparable to what you might find in a fine hotel. It was well appointed, immaculately clean and fully stocked with towels, robes and a variety of products. After a relaxing siesta in the sauna and steam room, I showered and met Greg for my scheduled service. Greg showed me around and told me briefly about some of the other services offered within the spa. When we got to the treatment room, we discussed the specifics of what body hair I wanted removed and he carefully explained his techniques, which proved to be the most comfortable I have ever experienced. He worked fast, yet he kept me perfectly relaxed throughout the process. He paid careful attention to detail and blended the remaining body hair so everything looked completely natural. This is a first class facility and Greg is a master of his craft. I highly recommend Koru Touch and Greg to men or women looking for body hair removal or other spa services.
