If you want great eyebrows I whole-heartedly recommend this place. The lady here definitely knows what she's doing, she always makes my brows look awesome. I always leave satisfied with her work. The threading does hurt, but I've gotten used to it and it only takes like three minutes anyway, so I don't mind it The price is what really sold me though, 6 bucks for a quality job is craaazy good. Plus you get one free threading if you go six times. This place is the best!!!

Listen. If you don't really care about your eyebrows and want a quick fast job done, go here. If you CARE about your eyebrows and the shape and how it looks on your face, avoid this place and the girl/owner who works there at all costs. Unfortunately this place has a lot of good reviews/stars because I can tell you the people don't know any better. I'm from the middle east and I've gotten my eyebrows done in many different countries and bigger cities and they will TAKE their time, tweeze to shape it, and thread the shape you want. I came in after 4 months of not touching my brows--the perfect canvas. I showed her my eyebrows how I get them done usually in the middle east, and I told her several times how I don't want the thickness to be equal from one end to the other and how I want the top part of my eyebrow as straight as possible. She brushed it off with "uh huh uh huh" per usual (I have come here twice before in the past 8 years so I should have known better but was desperate), and went along to thread my eyebrows in less than 2 minutes to give me 2 nice uneven and upside down smiley faces. Literally my brows are ruined and she just thinks because she's the only high starred place in champaign that no one will have a problem with whatever she does. Wrong. I've spent an hour trying to soap brow shape my brows, fill them in, and figure out how the F to shape them so they look a little normal and no luck. Seriously so unprofessional -- listen to your damn customers and IF THEY GIVE YOU SOMETHING YOU CAN'T DO THEN DON'T WASTE THEIR TIME AND MONEY. Just say I don't think I can give you what you want!!!!!!! Never ever going back and if you understand good brows, symmetry, or shape, you wouldn't either. ALSO SHE DIDNT WEAR A MASK

D did my eyebrows! Fast and perfectly shaped!:)

I want to highlight a very sensitive experience I had with this company. My experience dates back…read moreto Feb of 22; now I know you're like why are you just now writing a review and honestly, it's because I want to stand up for myself and not be afraid of hurting people's feelings who clearly had no regard for mines. Ive struggled with cystic acne and hyperpigmentation since I was in my early 20's. So, around March of 21 I had a consultation with this company and was recommended to do microneedling with PRP. I paid for my package in full (which was very expensive). It included 3 treatments and y'all I was absolutely amazed by the results my skin was much smoother, and the hyperpigmentation was reduced significantly along with the texture I was so happy. So, then I was told to do another package I had no problem because I seen great results. However, at this time this company had just introduced a treatment called "picosure" they hyped this treatment up and ensured me that this was a safe treatment for African American skin I had no reason to believe that they didn't have the knowledge necessary to perform this treatment on me so I paid and scheduled my first treatment which was for Feb 23, 2022. On this day the treatment was started and right off the bat the heat was unbearable, but they told me this was to be expected you guys my face began to weep so much so the esthetician stopped the treatment went and consulted someone else came back and continued the treatment. Now she knew something was wrong, yet she continued now I'm asking her is everything ok am I supposed to be weeping and hurting this bad she said "yes" this is normal. Post treatment OMG it burned so bad they put ice packs on my face and sent me on my way; my face was on fire for 8hrs straight worst pain I've ever experienced. The next day I noticed I had a lot of crusting on my face where I was weeping, and on the third day I was three shades darker. One week later I noticed my face was looking very different my color was off and I had what looked like facial drooping around my smile lines, but I thought ok it's going to get better, but it didn't. My face reverted back to the very hyperpigmentation and scarring I was initially trying to correct only difference my skin was much darker. This sent me into a complete depression because I didn't recognize me at all. I called and spoke to the manager (not sure of her name), but when I explained to her what was going on she was completely dismissive I was crying and pleading with her to help me. She gave me no direction I asked her what can we do she said she didn't know I asked what I can do to help lighten my skin she said go to Walgreens and try and find some cream. There was no help at all I asked for my money back because mind you I paid in full for three treatments and her response was " we don't do refunds and our policy is that you can't move credits to a different service" so I asked "so you expect me to have two more treatments of "picosure" knowingly knowing I can't do this treatment??" she then said as a onetime "curtesy" she will move the credits to microneedling. I wanted my money back because I didn't trust this company, yet I was forced to allow them to touch my face again because I had paid close to $2000 for that treatment, but I wanted my money back and to be done with them. So, after 6weeks my skin was ruined this put me in therapy I couldn't look at myself in the mirror I looked and seen an ugly women Ive never thought this about myself, yet I didn't see me. After the microneedling with PRP I was hoping it would help but it didn't I was devastated. So, I went to Christie Clinic to see a dermatologist because mind you they left me out in the wilderness not knowing what to do, and she immediately told me to stop any and all treatments for a year because my skin was severely damaged. She put me on "hydroquinone cream" to try and lighten my skin so I did just that and I just didn't do anything to my skin but keep spf 50 on and the cream prescribed. The cream did help a little, but I had deep tissue damage, so I was put on a retinol cream at night for the texture that was now back. I was just so discouraged so I didn't do any treatments up until this year. I'm at a new clinic where we are again doing microneedling with PRF Ive had 2 treatments now and things are looking good, but the Dr informed me that what you all did was unacceptable and that you all should have never left me to fend for myself when you damaged my face severely. I was told the reason that I see such a drastic difference in my face specifically my smile lines is due to the high heat from the "picosure" that melted the fat in that area causing dropping. To sum this up you all have caused me significant mental health issues surrounding my appearance to this day you have caused me to spend thousands of dollars trying to correct what you should have corrected what you all did was wrong and I want you all to know

My facial and abstraction with Aliza today was nothing short of amazing!Although I was in a stressful place because of my (face)breakout, Aliza comforted me. With her skin care knowledge and expertise I left the office feeling more confident and with a better understanding of why my skin was being so fussy! I could really go on and on! But I'll save it for my next appointment which I happily scheduled for two weeks! Also super thanks to Dr. Trupin who popped in to assess and gave her medical advice! No pressure just much needed support! I'm grateful to add them to my skin care team, because honey I needed it!!

I wasn't expecting a big shift in my skin's appearance and definitely not in shape. However, less than 5 minutes into it I was totally blissed out! I hadn't realized how much tension I was carrying in my face until Mary Kay worked it all out! I was also impressed with how lifted and sculpted my entire face, especially cheek bones, looked afterwards (she said her hand strokes are specialized to fight gravity). Seriously, so lifted and rounded, not the flat way they were before. It was both relaxing and effective with visible results. Her space was easy to find and comfortable. Bathroom available. She is knowledgeable about the skin care line she uses, able to tailor them to individual needs and explain why and how your skin would benefit from them. She is clearly both gifted and knowledgeable. Her technique speaks to her obvious years of experience. I would recommend her to anyone and would go again myself.

I transfered some credits to my sister as a gift after her daughter had a brain injury in a motorcycle accident- thinking she could use a break from caring for ALL her and her children. She couldn't take time to get treatment. They will not allow me to transfer to another recipient- my husband- who was also a member. Or back to myself. My hard earned cash- GONE. Most recently, my card for auto withdrawals was compromised. They have another card on file additionally. Still, I have a couple of hours credit in my account. I was given a two hour time frame to change payment method (to which I couldn't at the moment working a philanthropy event without my purse) and they canceled my appointment for the following day! Inconveniencing my massage therapist (lovely Tyler) and not allowing me to access my $$$ already paid! You have to have an "active" membership or you literally LOSE your credits! BOGUS UNETHICAL STEALING. you will ALWAYS LOSE MONEY AT THE END OF EVERY CONTRACT YOU DISCONTINUE because you have to continue to pay to access previous $$$$ they auto withdrawal. And without a membership, the prices are exorbitantly expensive. Like dumb expensive. And if you schedule an hour appointment, you only get forty five minutes of actual massage. Hour and a half and you get an hour and fifteen at the most. That is very different than any other place. I've gotten because there is a getting dressed undressed. Time, that is not included in your actual massage appointment. For a number of years, you will find lots of reviews negative at this place. We had gone through a couple of years where there wasn't enough staff for all of the memberships that were being sold. So there was literally never anyone available to give you a massage. Dumb. I finally find someone that I like, and these people are turds, and they take your money and threaten you with time frames and a lack of general understanding- and hijack your money/credit. As a business professional, I only charge people for services that I DO. That is the ethical way to deal with business. Period. You guys should be ashamed.

I booked an appointment with this salon, had my appointment confirmed, and then showed up on time. When I showed up to my appointment, Aiden told me that my booking was a mistake/that nobody was available to cut my hair. Please understand that I would have no problem with an honest mistake, and I would not be upset if this situation was handled with any sense of apology from the business for playing with my time. However, it was apparent to me based on Aiden's demeanor that it had not been a "mistake", because he was not even remotely apologetic, and he made absolutely zero effort to even ask if I wanted to reschedule/to retain me as a customer; he simply insinuated I had to leave. I believe Aiden refused to service me when he saw who I was (I have never interacted with him in real life, but we have seen each other on Grindr; I had no idea he worked here, and regardless it didn't matter to me, because I came to get my hair cut, not to interact with any human being in particular). Why is the receptionist choosing who is allowed to get their hair cut here based on their personal baggage? It's a shame I have to leave this one star review, because I was looking forward to discovering a new hair salon. For all I know, perhaps the actual hair stylists are great.
