We had a sort of non-standard window shelf that we weren't sure how it would turn out, but they gave us a few options (with drawings, measurements, and schematics so we could see in detail) for the raised bay window. The quartz looks…read moregreat, it was cut well to the shape of my kitchen, and the seam between 2 countertop pieces is practically invisible. The process from enquiring to ordering was very straightforward and easy to engage with. I was able to go and view the quartz prior to them cutting it to shape. The only road bump we hit was with installation. For the most part it was a good installation job, but it turned out that one of my cabinets was a bit higher than the others, which wasn't visible with the old counters. The installation team pointed out to me that they had to put an additional piece of wood under the counter in that location, but they didn't point out that it then made that counter higher than the others, and I didn't see that when they showed me. I only noticed the height difference after the installers left. My feedback is that I would have liked the installers to have been more explicit about this height difference before they glued the quartz down. I was relying on Integrity Stonework to be the experts for this installation, so trusted that they would point items like this out. After the installation, I had to pay an additional company to come in and remove the countertop to adjust the cabinet before gluing the quartz down again as Integrity Stonework did not offer to come and fix it, despite my request to them to make good on this. To be fair, the installation team did point out a different issue with countertop leveling in a different part of the kitchen prior to gluing items down. I think the height differential was just an unfortunate hiccup as part of this journey, so be thorough and ask to check the countertops prior to anything being glued down!

We purchased a 12 x 16 freestanding greenhouse from Cedar-Built last fall. Great customer service…read morefrom the 1st time I contacted Cedar Built and started asking questions and getting answers. We could not be happier with the greenhouse kit. I fell in love with the quality of the cedar as soon as I started taking the wood out of the boxes and staining the wood. Such beautiful wood. We spent a number of years living in Asia and really appreciate good quality wood such as teak and rosewood. Although the cedar is a different type of wood, (in my opinion) it matches those woods in quality with regard o the grain and finished (stained) wood. I only had to "phone a friend" once during assembly. They were extremely responsive to my question and explained the confusion I had with one of the construction steps. In hindsight, had I read the instructions and really read them I would have seen the answer to my question. The only glitch we had was that the door pieces were not labeled. Instead of taking a bit of extra time, I ended up assembling the door incorrectly. I spoke to the owner regarding the door not fitting correctly When Noel (the owner) found out that they had not labeled the door pieces at the factory for ease of assembly, Noel insisted on shipping me another door, completely assembled. I had already explained that i was able to make the door I had work. Noel stated that it would not look right and he wanted the greenhouse to look 100 right. We were very impressed with that level of pride in their product and that level of desire in wanting their product o be 100% correct. Remember - this mistake in assembly was my fault, not theirs. We are delighted with the finished product and really enjoy our greenhouse. We have gotten numerous compliments on the greenhouse regarding the design and the quality of the greenhouse. My only regret - not getting a slightly bigger greenhouse. It has not taken us long to fill it up with plants. I have no hesitation in recommending a Cedar Built greenhouse kit to anyone who wants a top notch quality product that will bring years of enjoyment to its owner. Walter and Mary Sheffield

After having read books and looked at every greenhouse website carefully, weighted the pros and…read morecons of every possible combination etc...we finally settled for a 10'x30' Cedar Built Greenhouses (from BC) built on 10 screw posts and hemlock 6"x6"x10' beams , floor finished with regular 18"x18" regular concrete slabs over crushed stones and 1/2" net gravel . Compared to an aluminum one, it looks very homey, smells good, the whole greenhouse was shipped in 7 containers from Vancouver to Montreal by train and locally by truck. Shipping cost was only $1,800 !! Putting it together with a friend was uneventful, we took our time making sure to measure properly etc.. everything was exactly fitted within 1/4" really amazing ....it took us 3 days ..we highly recommend it !
