However, the day of they asked me to adjust my appointment time a few times and because of the change offered me an extra 10 minutes to make it a full hour couples massage. I thought this was generous and accepted. Upon arrival the place was nice, and we were directed back to our private room so we could get ready. They didn't ask us any questions upfront about if we had any injuries/issues or anything they should avoid or if there were certain areas they should focus on. This is something that I feel is pretty typical to take place before any massage and certainly had been my experience at all other places so I was a little disappointed. My boyfriend had ACL surgery and his masseuse stretched his leg funny at one point that bothered him. It was minor but was something that could have been avoided had that conversation happened initially. However, other than that the quality of the massage was great and we both really enjoyed it. I did feel a bit uncomfortable at times when I was being moved around by my masseuse as I didn't feel she did a great job at keeping me covered up. This made it a little harder for me to relax. Lastly, they ended early and didn't give us the extra 10 minutes as they had promised which was another disappointment. But for the Groupon price I think the massage was well worth it. If I had to pay full price I'm not sure if I would go back again.
