What an amazing experience! This was my first time ever getting a massage. Booking an appointment was quick and easy through their website (they even have a $30 off first timer coupon right on the website!). You answer some questions about music type, scent of massage oil, whether you want conversation or not, problem areas you want focused on, etc. it was very extensive and helped ease my mind going in as I knew exactly what to expect and could tell they take a lot of care in the details prior to your massage. I walk in and they immediately take you into the back which immediately sets a calming and relaxing mood. They take you to your "lounge" space where you can get changed, relax with a little tabletop waterfall thing going, relaxing music, etc. I didn't have much time to spend in their prior to my massage as the therapist was ready pretty much once I was changed into my robe. I had massage therapist Candace and she was great! I had marked I only wanted conversation if I initiated and she was very respectful of that only asking a time or two if the pressure was good and to let her know if I wanted it more firm or softer than how she was doing it. I said nope it's perfect. So relaxing. Afterwards, they ask if you want tea or water and take you back to the lounge area where there are heated neck towels that were lavender scented so I grabbed one of those and just sat back relaxing for about 10 mins with one of those and just getting my last moments of zen in prior to changing and heading out. My hisband purchased me a massage, facial package for July 22nd. I arrived all excited and normally I don't leave bad reviews, however this was the worse experience I've ever received. The massage was mediocre, there was absolutely no warmth or zen on the room, there was a bright light shining directly on my eyes (she did give me an eye cover), she poured oil in my hair and only rubbed the front part of mu scalp for a few minutes. She did ask what parts I wanted her to focus on (my hip being one of my top parts) she never touched that part. Let's move ob to the facial. I've had facials all my life and I wouldn't even call this a facial. Let me start by saying as soon as I saw her 3" nails I should of turned and left, bit i didn't. There was no explanation on what she was putting on my face, it was rub on and rub off quickly, no extractions, bottom line l, sadly I layed there waiting for this to be over From beginning to end this was a waste of money and time and I will never go back nor refer. I have been going Spavia since they opened and always had a wonderful experience. This is no longer the case. I just had the WORST experience I have ever had had in my life. The therapist was just smearing oil all over me. She smeared it on my face, in my hair and just everywhere. I had to use a scrub brush to get the oil off. Has anyone EVER heard of a massage therapist smearing body oil on a face? She was also jerking my arms and head around while telling me to "relax." It felt as though she had no formal training. When I spoke to the manager about it she simply said "massage therapists are a dime a dozen. You are not going to fall in love with every single one of them." I believe it is under new ownership and the service has hit rock bottom. That place will not last long in an area like Bridge Park. Take my advice and spend your money somewhere else. read more

Horrible experience. 1. the therapist massaged over my throat and armpits. most of the methods ended up being ineffective or painful (please stop pushing down on my bones) 2. he breathed obnoxiously and loudly. not calming. just ridiculous. 3. the lotion (not even a massage oil) was pumped out loudly right next to my ear each time 4. he extended my arm into his facial hair multiple times. gross. 5. don't bother indicating what lotion scent and music you want on your intake paperwork - they will do what they want anyways 6. I had a $75 gift card, which I mentioned twice when booking a massage. The massage was good, and with tip, it came to about $160. When I pulled out my gift card, they said they didn't accept Spa Finder gift cards, even though they had Spavia listed as one of the three spas. She apologized for not mentioning it when booking, but that's it. And it's not like you can return a massage like you can a product at Target. I had to pay for all of it. My question is: if I told them I had a gift card, wouldn't they make sure it wasn't a Spa Finder card when booking? Because 1) the card was purchased in town and 2) the card clearly has the Spavia logo on it. read more

I was serviced at this location 5/26/21. Upon checking in the owner, Mary, 1st wanted to argue that my Boyfriend didn't sign the waiver. I assured her I PERSONALLY completed the form myself & submitted it; common sense would've said let me just check before going back & forth with a customer. She found that she was indeed wrong & apologized. Next at check-out Mary, the owner, made a mistake and charged my boyfriend card TWICE. She fixed the error & gave us receipts (that she personally signed as proof) to reflect the error was rectified. However, with us standing right there, wrapping up, she was scolding the employee for apparently setting up the booking portfolio incorrectly, which is what she was blaming the billing error on. She needs to be taught professionalism because that conversation, as a customer, was not one that I should not have witnessed. Fast forward to 6/4/21; my card was charged $235.44. I had only visited this place 5/26/2021 & my card was only provided to reserve the reservation. My boyfriend paid for the service the day of. So When I called they were already forcing the narrative that the charge would fall off & it's just a pending authorization. I LITERALLY kept saying repeatedly this is a posted transaction. It was not until I offered to send proof via my bank account the call wrapped up. When I sent the proof it was very apparent the owner Mary refused to review the proof that was sent to her; which she did review because she said my card wasn't charged; but stopped responding when I made the very valid point of HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE CHARGE ON MY ACCT FROM YOUR ESTABLISHMENT? I sent the details from my bank account 2 times via email. We are now @ 6/13/21 & Mary has since stopped responding. Good customer service would be LISTENING TO YOUR CUSTOMER and correcting the error. But instead she told me in capital letters on an email that my card was NOT charged then never sent a follow up response on how she was correcting the error when CLEARLY she's incorrect. I'm still out my $235.44 with no resolution or response... Seriously everything is at our finger tips today; how hard is it to log into your account & verify a transaction that's posted incorrectly? & WHO BETTER to fix an error (with provided proof of the error) than the Owner of the business? Edit: I reached out to corporate customer service and didn't receive anything close to an apology. The man I am talking to does not seem interested in making this situation better and is only interested in repeatedly telling me that I'm wrong even though I sent screenshots of the Bridge Park website saying Spafinder gift cards are accepted. Original review: I had a great massage and overall spa experience. However, their branch website (as well as the corporate website) states that they accept Spafinder gift cards, when in actuality, they don't. I only found this out after already completing my service so I had no choice but to pay for triple the amount I was expecting to. The gift card is the only reason I was indulging in Spavia, so it was actually pretty upsetting to learn that they are no longer accepted. Honestly, I think I should have been compensated for the price of the gift card considering their website was misinforming, but that's not the response I received. At the very least, hopefully this helps someone else! Again, the overall spa experience was great. We had two appointments book for today that we booked two weeks out for our 5 year anniversary. We booked a babysitter during the Massage time and our dinner. The spa called us an hour before our massage to cancel both appointments. I read their cancellation policy for customers that you have to pay half the cost for cancelling 24 hrs before. They should have a policy for canceling on clients less than an hour before the appointment. Something we both were looking forward to enjoying. read more

My expectations were completely exceeded. The entire experience was amazing from the moment I walked in and was greeted, through my massage and even through the payment process which took literally seconds. Changes performed my massage and everything was perfect. She gave me the exact pressure I wanted, she focused her time on the areas I expressed concern with and she was just an absolute delight. From the beginning, Brittany made me feel welcome and took the time to ask what areas to spend time one as well as having the bed and oil warm before beginning. Overall my experience was good, but I received a spray tan where my feet/ankle area was very splotchy and just looks terrible. I got this spray tan to have when I go to Vegas and now I've been trying to fix my feet/ankles so they don't look so crazy wearing sandals. This was my first time ever getting a spray tan and there was just a lot of things that I was kind of disappointed about. And I didn't shower until the next morning like she told me and didn't get it wet at all. I'm not sure what happened to it but I was very disappointed how it came out. My wife has been a long time member of Spavia and has spent probably thousands of $$$ there over the past couple of years and most visits are great. Unfortunately, She went in for a face peel yesterday and 24 hours later her face is in really bad shape. It is covered in red scabs and I'm really hoping it doesn't scar. When she called them this afternoon, all we got from them are recommendations for expensive moisturizers and self treatment that "might" help over the course of the next several days. She asked specifically for them to make this right either by them doing a no charge moisturization or at least provide her something to mitigate the damage. Their response really surprised me. Their solution is more expensive treatments. Meantime it's 2 days till Xmas and her face is a MESS! They will not get anymore of my business for sure. When all goes well, they get their money and I get what I paid for. When it goes badly, they run away from any and all responsibility for the mishap. read more

Honestly, very disappointed in this experience overall... I came in for a facial and massage combo (treating myself, obviously). The service wasn't bad (I'd say 7/10) but the management of this place must be pretty bad considering I overheard someone (who must have been the manager) yelling at one of the employees??? It was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel really uncomfortable. I don't want to give my business to a place that is run so unprofessionally.... Would definitely pass and choose a spa where the staff is respectful toward each other and maintaining a positive environment. It's a spa!!!! All 5 stars go to Michael! He's phenomenal and once again helped me avoid PT and/or going to the doctor. First he helped me recover from months of shoulder pain. I couldn't even sleep on my left side. Now, I'm fully recovered. Lately he's helped me recover from a pulled hamstring. He's extremely professional, friendly, attentive and is by far the best massage therapist I've ever been to. I'm worried for the change in ownership as so many employees have left!!! Only one aesthetician remains. Yikes! Not a good sign so going to an individual treatment is probably better than committing to their monthly until they can get new ownership in this Dublin Spavia location. Zero stars for the ownership. Lori was awesome and I wish she didn't sell! Hard to support a business owner who is not treating their staff well. Hopefully Michael stays as I've renamed him "Dr. Michael". *edit treatment from the beginning of package to the end is completely different* Micheal was absolutely a great massage therapist, both my boyfriend and I went to him, they roped us into a three (which is really a four month) subscription, which is really actually a deal - IF your massage therapist doesn't quit during it. My boyfriend and I again tried two different girls, but were less than ideal compared to Micheal. One lady felt like she was tickling me the whole time, wouldn't stop talking, and the room was freezing cold. I then had to cancel. my last appointment (after I canceled our monthly subscription) because I had tested positive for COVID, I left a voicemail because they were not open, while i understand the impact of cancellations, you would think there'd be something during this time. I then got told that I was unable to use my last massage appointment since I canceled my subscription. There are no more great massage therapist left here, and its overpriced. 0/10 recommend. read more

I scheduled an 80 minute signature massage with Chantiara. She was courteous and gave a great massage. I left there feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. The facility itself is modern and clean. Everyone gets a locker, robe and sandals to use while they are there. My only suggestion is to offer an option of plus size robes, as mine didn't fit me well. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience. The staff was accommodating and friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. I will return. read more

My massage appointments in and of themselves have been good. I was actually convinced to get a membership. But, for the second month in a row, every other part of the experience has been terrible. Twice now there has been no one at the front--which sounds like no big deal, but I got there early specifically to relax (it is not cheap and I want to really make the most of it). When no one is there, there is no way of knowing if people know you are there! I spent an hour looking for anyone - when I finally found someone she berated me that my appt wasn't until 7pm (it was 6:50- with no robe, slippers, etc) ThT is why you pay to go to these places, for those little extras. Also...hello, security! Apparently rly anyone can just walk in and go back into any of the rooms. Today again- not only was no one there at the desk, but afterward when I couldn't find my keys, the one woman still there - finally at the desk was unbelievable rude to me. She kept insisting she already looked for my keys and I said that's fine but I think it is wise for me to double check anyway. She acted annoyed and irritated, and instead of offering to help or expressing any kind of empathy, she kept rolling her eyes and sighing. I've had a membership probably going on 2yrs. During covid they were shut down but my monthly payments kept coming out. Once they opened back up I had several appointments built up- if you cancel your membership you can't use all the ones you've paid for. I've gone in several times without a mask as I am exempt- I've had my temp taken and those doing facials/massage were always perfectly fine with it. I went in Sat. there were three woman up front - the owner who seemed very nice and chatted awhile. Then the new manager "Amanda" who interrupted to say "You need a mask". I said I'm exempt and I've been several times with no issue, I'm also not sick. She proceeded to get the masks out and said you still need to wear one. I told her she could cancel my membership and reimburse me if it's now an issue. She said due to the services they offer I had to wear one. Then the owner who said she didn't even notice I had no mask on began discussing in front of other customers how they would discriminate me. They discussed isolating me in the men's waiting room. I wasn't allowed in the locker room or the relaxation room. Instead of just reimbursing my appointments they had me sit up front by the cold window for 30 minutes until the appointment room as ready. Mind you, I'm getting a facial which you can't wear a mask for anyhow. Later the masseuse I had seemed to doze off several times during the worst massage I've ever had. I booked the facial appointment using the $30 off coupon that they recently e-mailed me. The facial was alright and I do not have any complaints towards the girl who did my facial. However, the experience that I had at the front desk was absolutely humiliating. At the check-out I was told the price that did not include the discount. When I mentioned the coupon that I used when booking the appointment, they acted as if they heard about it for the first time. They, then, proceeded to tell me that they don't know what I am talking about and I have to find it and show it to them. I could not immediately find it on my phone and told them that I can try to find it at home on my laptop. They then charged me the full price for the service and saw me off with a very arrogant demeanor. As soon I got home, I logged on my computer to look for the e-mail - I felt so mistrusted and humiliated that I began to doubt myself. Of course, I found that e-mail with a coupon and called them right away. When I asked them how I can forward it to them, the girl on the phone told me to not bother because they can only apply the coupon if I show it to them at the time of the check-out. The whole experience feels like a total scam and I feel absolutely fooled. I do not normally leave such negative reviews and at this point, it is not even about the discount. Their marketing is false there are hidden policies that are not documented anywhere. They cancel all the time and they called the wrong person on the account and ruined a birthday surprise. When I cancelled I was informed that I would still be able to use the services that I already paid for. I kept referring back to the cancellation form that it was differing from what the receptionist was saying and she insured me that I would still be able to use my services for a year. I debated between cancelling and freezing my account but just cancelled knowing I would still be able to use my services. I knew it was going to be nice but boy was I impressed and relaxed when I left. My face was smooth and soft and I added a foot exfoliation which was fabulous. Yolanda really knows what's she's doing.
