After the first time they were groomed by Tracy, I never went anywhere else. She gives them back to me looking perfect and completely happy. In the past, I used to feel guilty trying to coach them inside the salon. When we arrive at Hoosier Doggie they are anxious to get inside, a big clue to me that they love being there. I've moved around a bit and now travel 50 miles each way to get my dogs groomed at Hoosier Doggie because I don't trust anyone to be as good or as caring as Tracy.

As far as we could tell they were the only dogs she was caring for at the time. We arrived earlier than expected and were told we could not pickup our dogs. She refused to release them to us finally saying "in the condition" they were in, her professionalism would not allow it. Upon further questioning she told us they "soiled on themselves" and she needed time to clean them up. WHAT??? Our dogs are highly intelligent working dogs, used to traveling, being in new places & situations. I insisted I see them and discovered she kept them in a dark garage in crates for the entire time they were with her. She complained they barked... well YA! They had to go to the bathroom! We have since been boarding our dogs with a local vet clinic. They love it there where they have an indoor area and attached outdoor run with regular interaction with the staff during the day. They have NEVER soiled themselves anywhere, before or after our experience with not so Classie Lassie.

When I took him in, he was really stressed and really freaked out over getting his nails filed. They didn't try to go any further and put his needs first.
