Let me stipulate that I don't like going to the dentist. That said, this people are good. They have a system for tracking how healthy my teeth and gums are. They have a reasonably affordable plan. We simply schedule routine, periodic visits for cleaning and assessing. They've personable and professional, which isn't often an obvious balance in any office. I had the best Experience of this perfect teeth location! I had a filling fallout and I was a patient at another perfect teeth location, unfortunately the location I go to had a flood so they couldn't help me. This office was able to get me in within a day and was SO kind in every interaction I had with them. I am a very nervous dental patient, but every single person was kind, caring and made me feel totally comfortable. They even gave me a blanket during the filling because the room was really cold! We have had great experiences at this office. My family of 6 is new to town and this office is nearby and on our insurance. Our first experience was when my husband broke a crown. They immediately got him in the office and all fixed up. We then all had cleanings done. The whole experience was great. All the staff was wonderful with my kids. They were friendly and patient and worked hard to accommodate our busy schedule with 4 kids. The cleanings and X-rays were done with ease and my kids walked out with smiles. Just today I stopped by because I am headed to Honduras on a mission trip and the office was more than happy to donate supplies to help out. Horrible. Worst place ever. The girls that work there and do the cleaning are so sweet but you can tell they're brand new. The md was a rough Russian lady who doesn't explain anything. The xrays were painful and clunky and I had to help the girl as much as possible to get them done. They proceeded to tell me I have receding gums and no bone so my teeth might fall out (I have nice teeth). They charged me $102 because they charged me 39$ for a medication I didn't ask for and 33$ for a medicine because "my gums were bleeding" after being poked for an hour. They told me I have "8 almost cavities" and tried to get me to come back. I would never go back there. The girl who did the cleaning told me when nobody was around that they "were for monetary gain" and the girl at the front desk whispered to me "that if she were me she would go somewhere else" and whispered "sorry, I'm just being honest." TERRIBLE! I don't these these people have any idea about what they are doing. I had a filling over a year ago, then I went back in for a cleaning this year and they told me that the filling wasn't done properly and needed to be corrected. They "fixed" the filling, but now I can't chew with that tooth because it is super sensitive to hot and cold, and it hurts to do any grinding with that tooth. I have been in TWICE after the filling was "fixed" and all they can say is that the sensitivity and pain "should go away," but that has yet to happen. I have also had problems with them quoting a price, and then I receive a bill for 2-3 times the amount I was quoted. Ridiculous! Overall, this place is a joke, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

Do not go here!!!!! I went in for a visit cleaning and check up. They told me I had gingivitis and would need a treatment plan, and that I had 2 very small cavities that needed to be filled. I declined the gingivitis treatment (seemed odd at 31 with no signs or previous cavities) and had my cavities filled. After leaving Perfect teeth on Speer I went home and waited 4 hours before trying to eat with my numb mouth. Upon trying to eat some yogurt, as I still can't feel my tongue, I choke on the cotton roller they left in my cheek. I called to let them know and they took a week to respond and said they were sorry they did not mean to leave that in my mouth. After the cavities being filled a few weeks later now both hurt when drinking cold drinks. I had never had any pain before this, I went back to have them check it out and they said I needed a root canal. They do not do the work there and could not get me an appointment to have it done else where. They charged me for checking there own work, and just recently got another bill in the mail. I have been going to this Perfect Teeth location for a few years now (3+) and overall, perfectly content. The downside is that I have seen several dentists at this location every so many months for cleanings/dental work during the time that I have been coming here; nevertheless, all of the staff (new & old) have always been very pleasant & express genuine care! The upside: they always are able to schedule me when I need and really seem to take into consideration my time. As long as I live in the Cap Hill neighborhood, this will be my Perfect teeth location! read more

Went in today with a toothache. Everyone was nice. Doctor referred me to a specialist. I got an appointment tomorrow with the specialist for a consultation. Only wish I could get treatment done tomorrow. read more

My experience was pleasant. The Patient Coordinator( Tia ) is helpful and kind. I didn't have much of a wait. The office was clean and tidy.

I had a whole review typed up that outlined everything but it got zapped because I did not sign in before typing it up. So summarizing now. Not happy with them. They offered little information and I had to ask for itemized bills. You can't go back with your kid. Phone calls sometimes took days to be returned (if you aren't making an appointment). Have had issues with several of the fillings. My daughters teeth are now sensitive to heat and cold which had never been an issue before (even with cavities she did not have sensitivity like this). I feel like they try to sell you all this extra stuff for your teeth. One filling was left too sharp and it was fixed on subsequent visit. Second filling to fall out in the three months since they were done. Am not going back to get it fixed from them. They overbilled me and I had to call to have it removed. Several little things like that. People in the office seem nice enough but overall I am unhappy with them and won't go back. I wish I would have read through other reviews more closely beforehand. Both my daughters were told they had gingivitis and prescribed toothpastes from their office (at $30 a pop-not covered by insurance) and it seems they tell a lot of people this. read more

I went in for a routine cleaning and check-up, and this visit was one of the most painful experiences I've ever endured! I almost walked out halfway through the appointment. Tears were streaming down my face the whole time because I was in so much pain. The hygienist was not sympathetic. She told me it was my fault that it was so painful because I hadn't been taking care of my gums, even though I floss EVERY day. There was blood all over my bib and I had to watch all of the blood getting sucked out of my mouth through the clear tube. Getting x-rays was also extremely painful as they spent 20 minutes trying to shove a metal contraption into my mouth that was entirely way too large for my mouth. At my old dentist, they placed a piece of plastic on each side of my mouth and pressed the button once for each side. I asked why they didn't do it this way at their office and was told that you have to be really skilled to get the piece in just the right position to get a good picture (meaning that were not skilled enough to do this). They shoved the metal thing in my mouth repeatedly, needing to have 12+ xrays and having to redo them if the picture wasn't clear enough. I told the girl that it hurt, but there was no other option. Then they brought me an estimate of $150 for all of the services I needed to have done that were "necessary" and wouldn't be covered by my insurance. $62 for prescription mouthwash? They made it sound like my mouth was in such horrible shape that I would be in trouble if I didn't do it. I passed on the mouthwash but did give in and spend $84 on an antiseptic wash that took them about 15 seconds to spray in my mouth. Looking back, I wish I hadn't because I really feel like it was a money-making scheme. I am 31 years old. I have gone to the same dentist my whole life up until moving to Colorado recently. I always looked forward to going to the dentist and couldn't understand why other people were afraid of the dentist. Now I understand. I would NEVER step foot in this office again! read more
