Pros: Great for Rims apparently. Cons: Customer Service, Communication, quality of work on parts that are not rims. Cash business with no work order, receipt, guarantee or warranty...not that I'd return. Business appears highly rated via Google but digging unveils experiences similar to mine. Parts were dropped off 6/4 with payment in cash required up front. Strangely no work order drafted. Color and work agreed upon 6/5 with delivery of completed parts 6/13 or 14. At this time he states a miscommunication on quoting my running boards and would need an additional $180 at part pick up. Began texting for confirmation 6/12 and no response. Not until I texted the morning of the 14th I would be arriving at noon to pick up my parts.. A reply about powder on back order came in just as we arrived at the closed up shop during normal business hours. I texted my displeasure on lack of communication and that this was my daily driver. He claimed not knowing of a deadline to which I replied why would you need one if you were meeting my timeline and giving me a pick Up date. He then assured me he would have powder 6/17 or 18. I showed him an overnight shipping ad for $10 from his powder supplier. Nevertheless I checked in on 6/18 about powder being on site and work being completed on schedule. I received a reply after forwarding original message again on 6/19 where I was assured parts would be done on time. I followed up routinely after the initial delay. 6/20 I received a call at 3:30 requesting final payment from the misquote we agreed to be paid upon part pick up. I explained I was not comfortable wiring him money just because he was out of the country. The owner began getting irate as I explained I was misled about part completion before and that the pick up payment was what we agreed to. He then carried on about being out of the country. I explained again why I wasn't comfortable and sent the screenshot of this agreement. By this time I'd begun finding the other reviews explaining poor communication, missed delivery dates, poor quality and service. I was no longer interested in keeping work here any longer than necessary. He explained he was contacting the police which was fine as we had already done that due to the irate demand for money because he's on vacation - it was odd. Gladly the parts were completed and we were given them back. Unfortunately quality was terrible - certainly not a "perfect touch" in any way. Other coating company's are stating the lack of quality in this application due to out gassing means the job was rushed and that monitoring temps/ materials was neglected. We will not recommend to others. Customer Service and quality of work leave a lot to be desired. Look beyond the rim reviews on Google, Yelp and so on and you'll see for yourself. read more

Do not use this business they require full cash payment up front and do very poor work and will not refund your money. The bronze SRT wheels on their web page are mine the angles he used to make them look good proves he's a better photographer than powder coater. I found this company on line. I needed10 metal kitchen/counter chairs repainted. There were powder coating companies closer to me in Downers Grove but they were big operations who required 2-3 weeks to complete the job and their quotes were expensive. My chairs were 10 years old and had old paint on them. I took the chairs to this business and they sandblasted and powdered coated them in a glossy black color. Eli , the owner, was professional and responsive. There are many color choices to choose from and their prices are reasonable. There is no store front to the business but a shop and back office with pick up and delivery services. . This is a local, small business, which I prefer, and the finished product is high quality. I recently bought a Tesla with silver rims. I really wanted black rims instead. I thought about buying new rims in black when someone recommended I powder coat my rims instead because they were beautiful rims other than the color. I called many places and read many reviews and Eli's shop stood out to me. Eli was excellent to deal with. Communication was swift and he even gave his own opinion on color choices as well. He thought adding painted calipers would be a great option to help complete the look. The quality is exceptional. I'm extremely pleased with the outcome. The price was really the best part. Eli saved me a lot of money by offering the powder coated option. I'm also very picky about the esthetics of my car. I didn't want to cheapen the look of my Tesla. I had a bed frame to be sandblasted and powder coated. The estimate I was given was much higher than the other two estimates I received, but I was promised it would be completed by Friday of the same week. (Dropped it off Tuesday, per agreement.) It was not completed as promised. There was no communication about the fact that it would be late. I had to reach out multiple times to try to find out what was going on. I finally drove out to try to pick it up (second trip) because I wasn't getting responses. It was still not ready. Was told Wednesday of the following week; Thursday at the absolute latest. Reached out to them the following Thursday to confirm pick up. No response. Reached out again three hours later and was told they "are working on it." Reached out 28 hours later and was told it "will be done today." I asked for a partial refund due to the fact that it took over twice as long as was promised and was refused. Was told they "don't give refunds" even though they clearly breached the contract we had for the work to be completed. (And, in fact, breached the next time they gave, as well. "Thursday at the latest" became Friday with no word to me that the project would not be completed as agreed.) Went to pick it up again (third trip) and they had used the wrong finish, not what I ordered. They redid it, went back to pick it up three days later (fourth trip) and it had scratches in the finish and drips of "paint". I could have done a better job with a can of spray paint and it took over twice as long as our agreed upon time. They clearly broke our contract along with providing shoddy workmanship. read more

Avoid this place like the plague. They ruined my rims...First Eli said it would be $360 do coat my rims and it would take a week; Oh and this place makes you pay upfront or they won't even start on them. So I dropped them of and the price jumped to over $600, because of extra prep work he said. I decided what the hell, maybe he's not lying so I just dropped them off and gave Eli a check. 2 weeks went by and NO contact from Eli, even after several phone calls. SO I drive an hour to check on the rims and they had not even started on them. At this point, I started to call around and asked for my rims back and this ASSHOLE said there are no refunds, so I had to just wait for them. Another 2 weeks go by and I check on them again and they had just started working on them. A few days later, I was finally told they were ready for pickup. I went to get them expecting a nice set of rims, but I could NOT believe how messed up they were. He said they had trouble with them, but they still turned out nice. I said "NICE", they look like shit. I grabbed my rims and got out of there. Avoid this place, they don't know what the F$%^K$ they're doing. They will MESS UP your pieces. read more

Worse experience we ever had. Called on 4/17/19 to ask prices for patio furniture. I was quoted $630 for 4 chairs & bar and only question asked was if bar had glass top &we said yes. Had to pay up front before pick up & billed on 4/19 & told it would take 1 to 2 weeks. When furniture picked up on 4/20 the girl asked if we had replacement material for seats & bar. We stated no one said anything about replacing material and she said we would have to remove. At that point we said forget it we would paint it ourselves. She said no worry, we have someone at shop who will remove it & put it back & took the furniture. We waited for call & never rec'd one. Called 5/21, no answer, left message. No return call so called 5/23 & again left message. No return call so called 5/24 & the person that answered said furniture would be done "soon" & that there was a problem w/disassembly. We waited. Called 6/3 & message box was full. Called 4 times 6/3 & each time message box full. Received call late 6/3 & was told it would be done soon, by the end of the week. Called on Fri 6/7 & asked for delivery time. Was told it would not be done that day, maybe the next. We stated needed by noon 6/8 & was told no guarantee. Rec'd no call & no furniture. Made a surprise visit to the business on 6/11 @ 11:30. Business was not open. As I was leaving the owner Eli showed up & opened garage door. There sat our furniture, w/nothing done to it. Not painted, only the material on the bar had been removed, and the material on the chairs had painters tape on them. The owner stated he had been having problems and had fired 5 people. He apologized & said he would work on it personally & appreciated our patience. He promised he would have it done by Fri 6/14 & shook my hand & gave me his word it would be done. Rec'd a call late 6/11 from a girl stating they would not be able to powder coat after all because removing material could ruin it. She said they would paint w/acrylic instead & I agreed but since not powder coated I wanted some money back. She said that couldn't happen because of all the work they did in disassembly? Eli then got on the phone & said they had already bought the acrylic paint so the price would stand. He said it would be done by 6/12 or 6/13 @ the latest. I agreed. Called Sat 6/15 for delivery time & told it was not done because they were able to powder coat after all & to come see it. We did& found they had done some acrylic & some powder coating & would be done late Sat. Since we would not be home I asked it be delivered Mon & he said yes. To compensate us for our trouble he would paint something for free. No way would I trust them with anything. On Mon 6/17 @ 1:30 still no furniture. We called & were told they would deliver when shop closed because it still had to be finished. We rec'd call @ 8:07 that night that furniture was being delivered. Both for pick up & delivery they sent 1 person forcing us to help w/carrying the furniture. We would strongly recommend you find someone else to do your powder coating. read more
