Great service and timely work. Arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and another car was in the bay with only a window or two completed. Installer said he was gonna pull that vehicle out and begin work on my vehicle because I was on time and the other vehicle had arrived an hour late. I appreciated how my time and punctuality was taken into consideration. Most places would have just made you wait, but not here. Massive props to this business owner!! YESSSSSS!!!! ANOTHER FIRST REVIEW. Wait. That kinda sucks. Why does it suck? Its sucks because I have been going to MGT for a while now and NOBODY has shared ANY yelp love? Well, it changes now. For good. Rick is a true master of his craft. Professional, courteous, meticulous, precise, genuine, and pleasant. I could keep going but I think its safe to assume you get the point. Some were mine and some were my friends. ALL of them came out PERFECT. Lets go onto the next project. I contacted Rick because I wanted the windows of my studio tinted. A simple one application one color tint would have worked perfectly. However, I am FAR from a one color tint kinda guy. I contacted Rick to put my logo on three windows in mirrored tint and cover that mirrored tint with an all over black. Yes. I am a pain in the ass client. How did the job come out? F$^KING FLAWLESS!! I will say it again. F$^KING FLAWLESS. I expected nothing less but was totally blown away by the finished product. So much that I am on to the NEXT studio and I am on to the next recreation of that tint job one more time. Just for good measure. I did have his service tech Ron come out and install a mirrored address under a black tint at my last building I lived at and how did that come out? Equally amazing. Its good to know that the quality goes all the way around with Midwest Glass Tinters. So lets go for a quick recap: 1-STELLAR work 2-AMAZING pricing 3-INCREDIBLE service 4-EXTREMELY professional 5-Overall? AWESOME. "5 stars" does this business NO justice at all. I think this is the 5th car I've brought here to be tinted. Sorry, I was just thinking out loud. Anywho, Midwest glass tinters, more specifically, Rick, does an awesome job tinting windows. Never any air bubbles, scratches or weird spots that you notice later on once you drive around for a few days. This shop has been here for quite some time too, which is good because to stay afloat in our dumpy economy he must be doing something right. Rick will educate you on the best % of tint to get, and what will get you pulled over and what won't. Which is good to know for those of us that ride dirty. Today I drove about 30 miles from my house to come here instead of the guy right down the street from me, because I know the windows in my new car will be flawless. Don't expect fancy business in the waiting room, and make sure to bring your smartphone because there is no tv or wifi here. I called to get a quote on 3m sunblock for my windows. It took a week to get a response. It was summer and I thought they probably had a lot of people on vacation. I replied and made a slight modification to the measurements. More than a week went by. Finally I called. Their phone system makes it impossible to speak to a human being. After several attempts I left a final message saying that if they could not return my call that day, not to bother because I would take my business elsewhere. They did not call. The person with whom I was dealing was Diana Hoffman. Although I did no business with them, their presale service is very bad. read more

Took my 2015 GMC Acadia Denali here. Had 2 front windows tinted same as factory tint on the rears. Absolutely flawless! Plan on darkening up the moon roof in the future. Plan on having the wife's Nissan done in the future. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. Rick is a master at this. read more

LOVE my 2014 white ford focus even more after going here! I called up Rick on a thursday, set up my car to be dropped off that following saturday (could have been sooner, but i work weekdays) and the car was done in 3 hrs. he tells you whats legal ( i work at a police department so I needed to keep it legal anyways) and he gives you all the legal options, although he won't tell you "no" if you want something else...he just advises of what is acceptable in the glorious state of illinois as far as window tinting goes. it is a flat fee no matter what shade you choose based on a 2d or a 4d car. the price he quoted me (240) was the price I paid...he didn't quote me low and up charge at the end of the process, because if he did he would not get 5 stars. Id give this company 10 stars if there was an option. the product has a life time warranty as long as you do your end to take care of the tints. he tells you what not to do and even tapes your window buttons for you so you don't forget that you cannot roll them down for 4 days. i did this in the winter, so that was not an issue at all. Its been a month so far, and I truly love my car even more after getting these tints done. I would recommend them to ANYONE AND EVERYONE. I live up north near wisconsin and drove down an hr and a half to go here. I will forever take any vehicle I need tints for to this place. one word- awesome. read more
