Thanks to Yelp we called these guys and in 20 minutes they were here in northern Westchester. With all the right tools and know-how they were in in 2 minutes. We moved into a new home that had mul t lock installed and Loved the product, but needed to change the locks. The previous owner had very sturdy keys that never gave us an issue... held up for well over 10 years of use, as a good key should... especially at mul t lock quality and prices. We get an entire lock setup at the end of 2022. Three different people consistently use keys in our home. In 2025, my husband noted his key was bending right across the middle of the key where there's a deep circle etched as part of the configuration. He ended up breaking the key in the door accidentally and we paid for cross county locksmiths to come out, remove the key from the door, and give us a new key. I figured stuff happens, just get it fixed. Late 2025, early 2026 I noticed my key was starting to crack at the edges along the same area my husband's key broke. I called the company and told them we'd used their services twice before, the last time to remove the broken key from the door. I wanted to know if they honor their product and work. He told me to come in but my schedule simply didn't allow at the time, especially since the place is not in the direction of anything I need to do. It's very out of the way. Since then my mother's key also starts bending across the SAME area... that's officially 3 keys now. I take the time yesterday to finally go in person, thinking that any good business would see the keys all failing at the same area and realize there's an issue. What response did I get? "I've been in this business for many years and have never had this happen, it must be the ways you guys are using the keys." 3 different people who have used keys all their lives, never had this issue with keys snapping and failing so quickly, and ALL 3 of us are the issue? That doesn't even make sense. Steve then proceeds to tell me that he can cut the deep circles more shallow and that would probably help...i definitely agreed. BUT... he wanted us to pay for the re-do. I don't think so. He then proceeded to say he could discount the keys. Again I don't think so when there is clearly an issue with the keys. Why would I pay your company again when you're not even honoring your work now? Am I supposed to just replace keys every 2-3 years? Makes no sense. I then asked if he could find out from someone else higher, being that we had used their services twice already. He said he'd call and find out. Today, he called me to confirm that his boss said no way, but that we could pay for a service call to come out and check the lock. Sir, at this point I'm not paying for anything additional with your company bc this is poor customer service. If you're willing to cut the keys more shallow, that means you clearly see there's an issue with the current keys that making a more shallow cut would fix. A good company with great customer service would acknowledge that there's clearly an issue. If this has never happened before, maybe these customers got a bad batch of keys. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, replace the keys with the more shallow cut, and if it happens again then they'll need to pay for the keys. The fact that you want us to pay you again when I already see that you're not willing to honor the work is ridiculous. Especially when you said your techs check the locks at each visit to make sure they're aligned properly, etc. Horrible customer service, would not recommend or use again. Now we have to find another mul t lock dealer to deal with this key issue before they break completely. See attached photos of 2 of the 3 keys that are cracking and breaking along the same area.

I purchased a fairly sophisticated alarm system from Mitchell over two years ago. Mitchell came to my home and we spent hours designing a system including not only all of the typical stuff such as door and window sensors and motion detectors, but also glass break monitors and water alarms for the laundry room and sump pump areas. Mitchell did not "sell" any of this stuff to me. I asked for it and we designed an excellent system together. The reason that I am writing the review today is because this is the first time that I have spoken to Mitchell in over two years. I received an alert on my control pad that a battery was low and I didn't know which device needed the new battery. I called Mitchell on his cell phone. He picked up on the second ring. I had the battery in a drawer and he identified the device and walked me through the battery change over the phone. This tells you a couple of things: 1. The equipment that Mitchell sold to me over 2 years ago works without issue. I literally have had not spoken to him in over 2 years because I have NEVER had a problem. My big problem today was that I needed a new battery. I'm OK with that. 2. Mitchell answers his phone. He is extremely responsive and knowledgeable. Mitchell is a good guy. He knows what he is doing and he sells good stuff. I recommend him without hesitation.

He suggested we troubleshoot over the phone before sending a technician to my house. Since the equipment is old, he had to send a technician after all. While I was waiting for the technician to arrive, I fiddled with the settings and ended up resolving the issue on my own. What really stood out to me was the honesty--both Mitchell and the technician could have easily said I needed new equipment or upgrade or unnecessary work, but instead they were supportive and completely upfront. I was a customer of Marshall Alarm for over 15 years. This company was engaged for alarm…read moremonitoring for an annual fee. I found a reputable alarm company to monitor the system for far less money per month. I changed alarm companies and I either needed the code that Marshall alarm entered into the system when I engaged them 15 years ago or I needed them to restore the system back to the factory settings as it was prior to using their service. I was told that neither could be accomplished remotely due to the age of the equipment and a service call to my home would be required at the cost of $200. Mr. Marshall finally reduced that cost to $139. I was also told that the new company would have the same problem trying to remotely program the system and the new company would not be able to monitor my system. I paid Marshall Alarm $139 for a 5 minute service call. The technician punched in a few numbers on the key paid and left. The new company out of California had no trouble remotely programming the system from their office. My old alarm system is working as well as it did when Marshall Alarm was the monitoring company. It is disconcerting that I would be charged a large fee in order to change alarm monitoring companies. Buyer beware, alarm companies keep raising their monitoring prices and when you shop and find a much lower price for the same service, they charge huge fees to get your own equipment back to operating mode. Shop around and see for yourself. There are many options out there .
