I was a drop in and showed a picture on my phone asking if they had experience and could do the marble design in which they said yes! When prepping my nails the nail technician was rough. The blue solid color came out well but once it got to the white marble design she got super impatient and rushed. She wiped off at least 4 different times even after I liked the very first one a male did when he stepped in once he saw she was struggling. A clean and friendly shop with very competent, compassionate, and caring practitioners. I had a nice "deluxe" pedicure and am quite pleased with the results. Mai, a Vietnamese lady, was very careful with trimming my nails and did a great job. It's located in the same shopping complex as Safeway and Tuesday Morning- not the Fred Meyer complex as another reviewer posted. A relaxing and quiet place with plenty of free parking. Did a very good job on the actual acrylics but then my technician had to leave for a doctors appointment and the new lady finished up the polish for her and didn't do a great job. Wasn't awful but she definitely rushed through it. Otherwise clean environment and friendly people. read more

I have been here a few times mainly out of convenience. I have found all of the technicians to be rude if they can't up-sell any services. Their hygiene practices, abysmal. I went in Tuesday after work for a manicure, again out of convenience....they're close to work and home. That was the last time. I picked a color, they were out of it. I picked a second color, they were out! It's a NAIL SALON and you're out of POLISH!! Not only are they rude and dirty, they're not very good at running a business. The manicure was rushed and sloppy. Just received the worst experience of my life. It was embarrassing to myself and one of my girlfriends who took me there. The first girl was having a hard time getting the gel off of my nails. Mind you I just had my acrylics taken off a couple weeks prior and the acetone was really irritating my nails. She left the acetone on for over 20 minutes while she was off giving a pedicure to someone else. It started to burn my nails so I took off the aluminum wraps myself. We told the other nail tech who was doing my friends nails (who was the only good one there) that it was hurting and she shouted to another nail tech and the girl had yet to arrive for another 5 minutes. She came over and tried lightly to take off my gel again, it wouldn't come off so she gave me attitude and said it wouldn't come off. I was tired of her attitude so I just told her to leave it alone. She then got up and left. The so called manager came over after that and did another hack job on my nails. My nails are crooked, and there is nail polish all over my fingers and cuticles. That lady had to go back to her other pedicure that she was doing and then a THIRD lady came over to finish. She had to re shape my nails and was trying to get off all of the polish the other lady had put on my fingers and cuticles. We refused to pay for the manicure because my nails were still very crooked, nails polish everywhere and very unprofessional staff. They started yelling inside the salon after said we wouldn't pay for the hack job and the first nails tech came over and started to get in my face as well as a male nail tech started shouting at us as well. They told us they would take off my nails polish because they worked "so hard" to put it on. I was so tired of the embarrassment and the nail salon full of people I just paid and left. When I should have called the police. This place is absolutely awful! The better business bureau has been contacted. Treat your customers with respect and try and fix the situation rather than yell and tell us we're wrong. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THESE PEOPLE. read more

This isn't my first time getting the "Dip" nails, I've had it done pretty regularly and it usually lasts almost a month (I usually go somewhere else). They use the knock off version of the Dip nails system but still charge the same rate as a place that issues the actual system. The original system is worth the $40 it typically costs and will seriously last you an entire month. I had to come back after 3 days to get a nail fixed because it chipped.. of course I sat there and waited for 45 minutes as I watched other people (that didn't have appointments) come in and be seen right away. Got my nail fixed.. the girl didn't say a single word to me.. filed my nail way down to a completely different shape and the girl just walked off when she was done.. didn't tell me I was free to go or anything so I sat there for a few minutes and another one of the employees looked at me and was like "yeah, you can go" umm okay.. thanks. 2 days later.. another 1 chipped.. I definitely wasn't going to go back and wait again and deal with the snooty service so I just went somewhere else. Awesome spending $40 at this place.. just to go spend another $40, 5 days later. Phil is amazing, however, the bad service has just become too much! They've stopped honoring their appointments...most times I'm waiting 20-30 after my appointment time before they even start work. I've been a regular customer here for pedicures for probably a year maybe a bit over a year! And my last couple of experiences haven't been that great but I didn't say anything about it because I just thought oh maybe they got new technicians and they don't know better! But the last time I went there the service was terrible so I will say something about it! As a regular customer I expect to be greeted when I walk in but that did not happen and I was not offered any kind of refreshment and I used to get offered! I don't know if it's because I'm a regular customer and they know that I will come back but that will no longer be the case! I will take my service elsewhere because this was just ridiculous! For my pedicure they gave me someone who clearly should not be in this industry. When you have shaky hands and you're trying to paint nails those 2 do not go hand in hand! I asked for my nails to be cut a tiny bit and be more on the square shape and got the complete opposite! They were round and she made them so short I kid you not I couldn't wear closed toe shoes for 3-4 days after because it hurt so bad! The paint was clumpy and was all around the toes it looked like a 3 year old painted my nails! Another thing to mention I got a regular pedicure! On their price board it says 30$ but I was charged $42 at the end of my appointment! And when I asked why it was 42$ they told me because I'm paying with card. So they add an extra 12$ when you're paying with card? Weird because I've been here plenty times and never had that happen to me! Clearly because I was up happy with my experience there was no way I was leaving a tip and when I was leaving the women checking me out said next time you have to leave a $2 tip or more or we cannot do your nails! Are you kidding me! Well thanks for letting me know because I can assure you there will be no next time! I'm blown away with how ridiculous this whole experience was! I came in to get a pedicure. After looking through the different pedicure options, I chose to get the basic one which was $30. Since when does a basic pedicure cost $30?? Several places around town are MUCH cheaper than this. I sat down in my chair and had at least 4 people come up to me and ask me if I wanted the $45 deluxe pedicure. I made an appointment for mani/pedi for my trip to Vegas. This place was so busy I was shocked they had me come 'right in" when I called. My assigned tech was incommunicado by the fact that the only things she said were "gel, right now' and "polish 5 minutes" referring to the actual length of time the polish was ready to go or would last. When I didn't want longer nails put on (I am a dental hygienist and we can't have long nails) my mani was done while I sat in the pedicure chair. Everytime I tried to explain why I couldn't have longer nails she just said,"gel, right now." Needless to say, I will not return. This was frustrating. read more

I have been going to Perfection Nails since I moved to Vancouver in 2012. I have never had a negative experience until this weekend. I didn't have an appointment for a manicure, so I was asked to wait 15-20 minutes. Not a problem. The wait ended up being closer to 30 minutes. I was called to sit at a station. The guy had me pick out a color while he took a phone call. I already had my color picked out since I had been waiting. He came back 5 minutes later and started cutting my nails. He stopped to again make a phone call. This time cutting my nails while he was on the phone. A woman, who also didn't have an appointment, walked in inquiring about the wait. At first he asked her to come back. She said she didn't mind. Then he asked me to move over to another station and wait until a coworker could finish my manicure while he did her nails. I waited 10 minutes before I got up to leave. I have never felt so disrespected by an establishment. I will not be returning to this place. She cares so much about her customers and wants to give them exactly what they want when she does their nails. She is excellent at gel manicures and I also love her pedicures. I must preface this review by saying that I am new to the area and have been looking for a nail salon locally. I tried 2 separate salons and they were both terrible in more ways than one. Up until two days ago I had never written a review of any kind, good or bad. However, I am not writing a bad review today. I had the good fortune to come upon Perfection Nails. I explained to them that I had an extremely bad experience two days ago and I needed them to remove the hideous things Daisy thought were beautiful acrylic nails, plus, put on a brand new full set. LeeLee (sp?) was the gentle, kind-hearted lady that serviced my nails today. Not only did they give me an incredible discount, but LeeLee worked for a solid two hours making my nails as close to perfect as humanly possible. She restored my faith in nail salons.
