I was very disappointed with the service and finished product! I called 3 days in advance and scheduled a full set of basic acrylic nails and a pedicure for my daughter's prom that night. The gal that did her nails was less than friendly and did not bother to confirm what she was there for. I just assumed the quote was what we were paying. The finished set of nails was uneven, and paint all over her cuticles and under the nails. The gal that did the pedicure was amazing though she was relentless at upcharging the pedicure to a 16 year old! When all said and done I went to pay and was shocked that I was charged $48.00 more than what I was quoted. When I questioned it I was just told that's the price. It took me about a year when I finally found Lavish Nails after trying at least 3 other places here. Thank goodness for Yelp! All the reviews here were super helpful. I have had the privilege to have Vu and Erin; putting on new sets and fills. They do a super job! I have had Tina since day one for my pedi's. She does an amazing job! She takes her time and the leg massages are the best. So relaxing! Took my granddaughter here for a mani/pedi for her 11th birthday and Sarah was awesome! Super gentle and sweet to her. I've been coming here for many years getting gel manicures and never had a problem until this last time. The tech was one I hadn't had before, and the polished nails soon started popping off in one piece, one or two a day. As of today, there are two left. So, I wasn't able to change my work schedule and come back in immediately after the first two disappeared. I figured they'd recognize by looking at the two remaining nails (or look up the invoice in their system) that the job was fairly recent and at least acknowledge that having eight fingers with zero polish isn't a normal thing! "Normal" for gel is to have to sand and soak and scrape old polish off! To be clear: I wasn't trying to get a free re-do or anything, just for them to acknowledge the problem and make at least a token effort (20 percent discount on the re-do?) to keep a longtime customer happy. I always liked coming here! But the gal at the desk today couldn't have cared less. Again, I've been coming here for years and I'm just really shocked at the way they handled this. I think if Sandy (the very nice owner) had been there, this would have played out differently. Now I've gotta go someplace else. :-( read more

Two different people two different experiences. My friend and I got a mani/pedi yesterday afternoon. My excitement turned into a bummer experience. My lady rushed through the entire process and my upgraded Deluxe Pedi and Mani took less than an hour combined, pampering was almost non existent and nails turned out ok, attention to detail wasn't there. I mean how could it be, she was rushing to get it all done as quickly as possible. On the flip side, my friend had Sarah who took her time with every aspect of the experience. An hour 40 minute experience. Typically tips are shared. We specifically asked about providing a tip for just Sarah as it's not right having to share tips with someone else that doesn't care about the service and experience they are providing. Moral of the story, if you come here hopefully you get "lucky" with someone who cares to spend the time or at a minimum ask for Sarah! read more

I came and got a gel manicure. the shape was nice and clean but the color I chose was showed up on my nails extremely translucent, almost like there were hot enough layers of it. My ring finger nail had a large coat while the rest lighter. I only noticed how messy they looked after leaving the salon. I called them for a redo two days in a row and no one answered. On the third day, they finally picked up and were very rude. with saying that I need to only choose a color similar to the rosy translucent look or else I'm paying. I feel unhappy with how I was dealt with. read more
