Helped out a friend who is putting their home on the market. Update on Review: Overall very sloppy work I would not recommend this company. Also when they worked on painting, they got white paint on my very expensive patio. Update as of 3/29/21 Initially paint on kitchen cabinets started chipping. The owner said the crew didn't sand the paint down. Two months later the paint on the cabinets have started to chip. When I have questioned the owner about work being done I have gotten a rude or unprofessional response. Also they have never owned up to getting white paint on my less than 1 year paver patio. The cabinets are chipping badly at 2 months, I fear what it will look like at 6 months. So many red flags. Please stay away. I feel they rushed to get the paycheck and now my home is suffering from it. read more

Ian and his crews are fabulous! I first hired Ian just after Thanksgiving 2020 to paint the exterior of my house, his response was immediate and received the quote the same day. Although there were minor challenges with the weather (rain and freezing temps) and several areas of wood root that needed to be repaired, the communication was outstanding, I knew exactly when the crew would be there. The crew cleaned up daily and were extremely polite. The final result was fabulous, looks like a brand-new house! Now that the exterior was perfect, the interior was looking so shabby! I always hated the popcorn ceilings in my house and had water damage from a frozen pipe, so I wanted the popcorn gone and fresh paint on the walls. Ian did warn me about the mess that removing the popcorn would be, so I prepared myself for the worst. I was shocked the first day I came home, it was not as bad as I thought! The crew paid special attention to every detail and covered everything including the floors to ensure nothing was damaged. They cleaned up, vacuumed and removed the plastic daily to ensure there was no major disruption of livable area. My house was especially challenging since I did not have a garage to move anything into. They basically had to shuffle around furniture every day to get it out of the way, then move it back so that we were comfortable at night. On top of it all, my 80-year-old Father lives with us and can barely walk. He uses a walker and will not go outside. So, they had to not only move around furniture, but they also had to move around my Dad! They always made sure that what ever room he was moved to was clean, free of any debris and that he had a working tv . My 4-bedroom, 3-bath house.... all popcorn ceilings removed and all the ceilings, walls, trim, doors, etc. painted was supposed to take 2 weeks. Ian was so worried about the disruption for us and my Dad, he sent over two crews and they were done in 5 1/2 days!! Everything looks beautiful! We have now hired Ian and his crew for two jobs in a commercial space. Both jobs were more difficult than a typical job- old wall paper (the bad kind that comes off in pieces), uneven walls, large dents in the wall from previously hung hardware, you name it. The second job involved creating an accent wall of shiplap, removing a knee wall but leaving a portion of it, and sealing and painting over old wall paper. Ian was honest and explained what he could and could not do, and gave sound advice. He personally ensured the job was done well. His team was kind, worked efficiently, and cleaned as they went along. It was a multi day job, and they left the space clean when they went home at night. The attention to detail was excellent, and I am 100% happy with the result. I called PPP super last minute after another paint crew fell through and they showed up the very next morning to start working. The paint crew is made up of the sweetest people who paid attention to every detail, made sure I walked through the entire condo with them for any touch ups, returned every single thing they moved to its place, and cleaned up their mess. They even helped me carry some large packages into the condo and moved my laundry unit to paint behind them. They really went above and beyond and showed great care with the prep, paint, and cleanup. They got everything done in the very tight timeline that I requested and were so sweet whenever I came by to drop things off and checkin. Very thorough! read more

Immediately declined my inquiry saying they were booked despite me putting my timing as flexible. When I followed up pointing out that I didn't have a specific time frame in mind I was completely ignored. Thanks for nothing. Edit: Thank you for looking through my yelp profile Ian. In the time it took you to research my profile, the drywall could have been repaired for easy money. I never said anything about your work, and I'm sure based on other reviews it would have been done correctly. The fact is you refused to service me as you didn't think it'd be worth your time. My property is in the Charlotte area and I'm guessing it would have been an easy $100 for 10 minutes of work. Nothing I said in my review was misleading or incorrect. I would suggest providing more clarity than "we're not available during this time." and providing responses to follow up questions, as my timing was flexible. Also, I wouldn't continue blaming customers when you refuse to work for them in the future. I work with many small business owners on my Airbnb and my personal home and always pay immediately, including generous tip when appropriate. Again, I can't stress enough that everything about my request was flexible. I would also argue that a small business owners worst nightmare would actually be refusing service to customers, but you're entitled to your own opinion. Lastly, I'm not sure if you're aware of other platforms that you can review businesses on, but Yelp isn't the only one. I leave plenty of great reviews and recommendations through word of mouth, but judge me all you want. read more

They removed and painted +24 external shutters. They did a really good job re-attaching them with screws to prevent the plastic push pins from breaking again. Overall the work quality was great and they were very responsive. The only downside is they were significantly more expensive than anyone else. Since it is my primary residence and work quality is paramount, I went with them despite their price. read more

Back in the 1990's, my hunter green & natural colored wood office cabinets were the bomb! Twenty years later, I hate them! Being an avid chalk painter I thought I would just "take a stab" and do it myself. That idea was quickly shut down by just about... EVERYONE. So I began the arduous task to find a cabinet painter that would: 1. Return my call 2. Show up for an estimate 3. Not break my budget 4. Provide actual pictures of past work/references The estimates I received were all over the map! Some companies would justify their exorbitant estimates by trying to sell me a "system". ???
