We arrived home and were absolutely amazed at the work that was done! They literally went above and beyond all our expectations. We're having a swimming pool put in but needed a couple of trees removed as well as some shrubbery. Shortly after the heavy rain and wind we had at Christmas a large elm in our backyard partially fell over, coming within a few feet of our roof. Our house had sold and the sale was closing in 2 days. We called Michael about 8pm and he was there by 10. So far so good. He gave us a price of $4000! We had called 2 other tree people we have used but they did not get back to us so we accepted the offer. He showed up with a crew the next morning and they got the tree out by 3:00. They were supposed to grind the stump. They sliced with a big saw but left a pretty significant hump. If I was staying in the house I would of asked for a more complete job, but I let it go. They did a neat job and cleaned up. When my husband told him he was paying with a credit card Michael charged him another $200. I think $4200 for 8 hours of work is way way too much and that Michael took advantage of a desparate elderly couple. ( I am 70 and my husband is 81). read more
