They came to do my trees and ended cutting my tree lights. And left a mess in my fountain and all over. Trampled my elephant plant and, and broke a clay Aztec figurine, that is irreplaceable, that my father got over thirty years ago. They broke it and did not say anything to me. Then, when I confronted them about it, they kept saying, well, I can just glue it! And when I kept asking them to replace my tree lights, it took them about three weeks, even after the so called manager came out to evaluate everything.I showed in the pictures of how they left a big mess.And he reassured me that he would compensate me for my tree lights within a few days. He arrived exactly when he said he would. walked me through what he and his team would do, and gave me the most competitive quote among three project estimates I had gotten. We needed to have a Queen Palm tree and a very large Palo Vedra tree cleaned up and trimmed. We call more than a couple of different tree service companies but M&J Tree Service was the best priced. Ricardo was very pleasant to talk to and work with through the whole process. We had originally had a set day of Thursday that the crew was going to come out. The day before Ricardo had called and asked if we could move it to Friday because they were a little behind schedule. Come Friday morning the team showed up on time and wasted no time getting to work. Ricardo stayed on the job the whole time to make sure the crew completed the work and followed through on the requests that we had made to how we wanted the trees trimmed. The crew was fast, considerate and careful to not disturb anything else in the yard like flowers or edge lights. The crew was also very diligent in cleaning up after they were completed. The whole job with the 4 man crew took about an hour from start to finish. I was amazed at how fast they worked and did not slow one bit. These guys are outstanding. I needed hillside cleaning on the slope in my backyard and reached out to several companies on Yelp. Several companies came by and provided a quote, but Ricardo from M & J impressed me the most. Not only was his pricing reasonable, but he was very professional and respectful when he first introduced himself upon arrival to my home. When I told my husband I wanted to hire M&J, he asked why them of everyone else? And I said that I liked how he presented himself and that his fees were very good also. Due to ill staff and the rain, we had to delay service a couple times, but when the day came, his crew arrive promptly at 8:00 am and started working immediately. I needed a few trees removed (one very large one) and a palm trimmed. The service I used to use no longer has an active license, so I went on the search for a new company. I contacted two companies. One of them never got back to me. The other got back to immediately with an online quote. For good measure, I decided to reach out to a third company, which was M&J. M&J got back to me quickly and came out the next day provide a quote (the price was comparable to the other quote I received). I decided to go with M&J because they are more local to me and Ricardo Jr. actually came out to look at the trees. I texted him after he left and got on the schedule for a just a few days later. When the crew arrived, Ricardo Sr. came out to go over everything, then the crew got to work. They did an excellent job with removal, trimming, and clean up. Ricardo Jr. came out when they were done to make sure everything was satisfactory (it was). A couple of days later, we ran our sprinklers and saw that a pipe near the tree was broken. It was totally understandable given that they had to grind down a massive stump. I contacted Ricardo Jr. about it and he took care of it right away.
