Today was my last day of my 3-month experience with PERFITNESS. It was an amazing run! Whenever I needed support in getting a grocery list going, they sent me one. When I wanted a workout plan to have on hand while I was out traveling for work, they prepared one for me. At every step of the way, I felt supported. In the middle of my program with them, I did a week-long trip to Disney World. While at the theme parks, they would help me make healthy meal choices as I visited all these restaurants, so even 3,000 miles away, I was able to stay on track! I'm writing this review so that all potential clients know what an amazing trainer Michael is! I'm so grateful that I was able to connect with him when I decided to go completely outside my comfort zone to strengthen my weakest area -- running and upper body strength. Not only is he passionate and extremely knowledgeable about what he does but his enthusiasm and energy has improved and transformed me with noticeable results in just three weeks. I used to be someone who would find all the excuses not to run in highschool and here I'm getting better at it everyday with more controlled breathing techniques, better timing and strength. I actually thought because of my age I wouldn't be able to make the scale budge BUT I have lost 12 lbs in less than 3 months. PerFitness definitely has the best Personal Trainers I have ever come across. I've been a member of several different private gyms in the past with limited success. The trainers at the gyms weren't really into it, they had the same workout/meal plan for everyone, couldn't provide much in the way of how everything worked together or mods to the plan and when the clock struck 1 hr...that's it. I can tell you, PerFitness are NOT those trainers! From the moment I met Michael, he was all about me hitting my goals. First, he wanted to know what I REALLY wanted to achieve...was it fat loss, physique, bodybuilding, getting stronger. From there it was finding my starting point both with my exercise and meals, then we pressed forward. Typically on a meal plan, I'm either hungry or just hating life, with PerFitnes all meal plans are tailored specifically for me and adjusted where needed to make my goals. Also, the virtual programs have been instrumental during the COVID-19 pandemic. I have been able to stay on pace and cannot wait to get back into the gym. read more

Mike's knowledge, professionalism, and upbeat personality makes a person like me who avoids the gym like the plague want to keep going back for more sessions! He customized my workouts and actually helped me reach the goals I was seeking (whereas many other trainers in the past were unable to do so). The other benefit is that he is honest with you about your goals. I originally wanted to train once or twice a week, and he was clear about the fact that considering my long history of not going to the gym consistently on my own, along with my tendency to indulge in cheat meals more days than not outside of the day before training, that it wouldn't be beneficial for me to train at that rate- that it was unlikely that I would achieve my fitness goals that way. He was the ONLY trainer I ever worked with that was up front with me like that, so I took his feedback, worked out with him 3-4 times weekly, and FINALLY achieved my goals that I had been attempting to reach for years with different trainers. He educated me about proper nutrition and macronutrients, and I am forever grateful for him, his training, and professionalism.
