Checked out, Tru Fusion Summerlin back in May, it is so spacious! The front desk was super friendly…read moreand nice! The staff was awesome, I was very confused when I got there and they gave me a tour since it's a much bigger studio than the Henderson location. And there are definitely more doorways to get to the different studios, so I was definitely a little lost at first. Tons of lockers and storage areas. The locker rooms are really nice, super clean, and have amenities for getting ready just like the other locations. It looks like the location is supposed to have a café inside... I don't know if that's something that they're adding in later or was previously there, but there is this little area that looks like it's a eating area (I could be wrong.) there's a lot of places to hang out when waiting for class to start. I took a candlelight Yin with Timberly. And to this day, it's still one of my favorite Yin classes that I've ever taken. It was absolutely amazing, I felt like I was floating when I got out of that class. Super relaxing, she is such an amazing instructor and has one of the best energies I've ever had in an instructor ever. She also did a sound bath at the end of class and it was transcending. I absolutely recommend her candlelight Yin Class! You will leave feeling renewed. I really like that the studio is in a separate area where it has its own hallway that's closed off so you're not hearing any of the outside noise. I also really love that Tru Fusion Summerlin does their fitness on the lawn classes. I do those quite frequently and it is a really amazing experience! And they give you a really awesome variety of different types of classes to try out! The instructors are so amazing and I really love how they are focusing on building community and also giving back to the community!

The floor is filthy and management and part of the staff is rude and useless…read more I have to clean the floor myself before each class to set my mat down and the wipe (which I am simply using my own hand and a wet wipe, not a powered device) is black with filth EVERY TIME. I have brought the filthy wipes up to the front desk repeatedly, have talked to the manager, and am basically met with either attitude, like I'm the problem, or am given a list of excuses. This has gone on for months and months, and the floor remains disgusting. The cleaning staff does go into the room after each class, but they are obviously not given cleaning products to clean with, or what looks like black soot wouldn't be so easy to wipe up with a lysol wipe immediately after they clean. I've been a member since TruFusion opened their doors, and they used to be great, but since then it gets more expensive, and the quality goes down. We shouldn't have to beg to work out in a non filthy gym. Especially with what they charge for a membership. Our mats touch our faces, and the floor in the rock room is dirtier than if we put our mats in the parking lot. Called corporate multiple times, no response

I went with Chuck because of the reviews and I know I made the best choice! Chuck is not only the very best trainer out there but the best nutritionist, advisor, and overall motivator. He will make you work your ass off all while you love him, hate him, and laugh all at the same time! Chuck is patient and willing to answer any questions you have. Now I KNOW what it takes and how to get the body I've always wanted. Because of his training, I feel confident walking into any gym and getting the best workout possible for my body. Don't give Chuck excuses, just give him your time and you will get out of it what you want. Thank you so much Chuck! He's more than just the muscle, he's got the knowledge to teach you everything you'll ever need to know to get your butt into shape. The high quality equipment in his gym matches his high quality training seamlessly. But let's be real here. It takes more than that to get me to stay as long as I have with Chuck. It's more than just physically training your body. He works with you to train your heart and mind, which is more than anything I could have expected from a personal trainer. I have never been a girl that was interested in fitness and nutrition but working with him has motivated me beyond my wildest dreams. Our sessions together are often times the best parts of my day because I get to push my limits of physical strength, learn how to strengthen my heart and mind, and work alongside someone that is truly an inspiration. Worth. Every. Single. Penny. And. More. "If you WANT something special, DO something special."

Alvin took the time to listen to my goals and created a fun and new workout plan for me. I have learned to love Muay Thai and feel confident each day with the ability to protect myself. It has been a great addition to sustaining cardiovascular endurance. He also showed me how to incorporate kettlebells into strength training exercises. It was a steep learning curve, but with consistency and Alvin's knowledge, I'm feeling stronger every day. Alvin doesn't just preach health and fitness, he helps you achieve it. He allows you to appreciate your strengths and weaknesses and use that towards lifelong success. I would highly recommend an initial consultation, which is complimentary, to discuss your goals! I am confident Alvin can help you reach them.

That isn't all he can do so if you want something else he can help you with that as well. I had no prior martial arts and I was honestly intimidated to go to a gym. He has made the experience really welcoming. One of the things I noticed right away is that he has really good attention to detail. He is also incredibly good at pacing your progress. He pushes me a little bit more every single time. He is never running late and is always there ready to go. My cardio, strength, flexibility, and mental fortitude has gone through the roof. I hit PRs with him almost every session so far. He has helped me a lot with breathing and staying relaxed. Those two things have made my life better in many ways already. If you are considering it at all just call him. Trust me on this one

The first two weeks I…read moreattempted the 5 AM park workouts but mornings are not my thing and my allergies hated me and the evening classes were not available at a location near me. They were nice enough to let me finish out my workouts at their indoor facility where for the remainder I tried to go 3-4x a week. The park workouts were challenging but doable at whatever your fitness level. Richene always mixed it up and was encouraging. And I loved Fun Fridays. I had never played Frisbee football before. My fave would have to be the indoor workouts with Corey and Will. Because these were in the evenings it really kept me on track eating healthy during the day so I wouldn't feel like crap at boot camp. And obviously no grass, no allergies. For both the indoor and outdoor classes we never did an identical workout. The indoor facility is perfect for those that are fans of Tough Mudder, Spartan or any type of obstacle races as they have the course and equipment to help you prepare. The camaraderie is awesome and everyone is so encouraging from day one. I'm only knocking a star due to cost. I don't think $150 a month is unreasonable if boot camps are the majority of your workout because there are classes and locations all over town and the instruction alone is worth it. They also have a $25 drop in or if you buy a punch card it breaks down to $20 a class. But for me I'd want to incorporate bootcamp into my schedule once or twice a week because I also love my cycling and kettle bell classes and when I factor in the three gym memberships I have combined those set me back only $57 a month. I had taken boot camp classes before in town and this month of classes made me realize how much I miss them. Fortunately for me those classes are a $10 drop in making it more realistic for my schedule and wallet to incorporate a once or twice a week class into my routine.

As a veteran of bootcamp classes, running, pilates, kickboxing, and Insanity/P90X, I can definitely tell you that this was a GREAT workout. Granted, some may think that there's a limited class/location selection, but to be honest, at least you know where to go and what time to go...none of this "will there or won't there be class". My other gripe is also about the cost. If it wasn't for the Groupon that I got, I definitely couldn't afford this. As it is, I don't pay even that much for my gym membership. I am so glad that there are multiple locations throughout the valley. Next, I can only comment on Kenny Hunt, my instructor (or should I say torturer? lol jk). He's a great instructor and just helps you push yourself until the end of class--allowing you to take the class at whatever pace you can handle. There were literally people in the class that were in all different levels of fitness, and since everyone was working as a team and encouraging one another, it made the experience that much more enjoyable. The general format was: arms and core, cardio day, legs, arms and more core, and another cardio day. On a given day, you'll either be doing resistance exercises using your own weight, or weights, or tires, a jump rope, or partnered exercises. I actually even saw a class harness themselves and pull a Toyota Tundra filled with equipment, with a few others pushing from behind. Talk about crazy! All in all, it was a fun time, and I only wish that the classes were more affordable. At least I was able to find out what Bootcamp Las Vegas was all about.
