I stopped in today to try out the free intro class they offer for people that are interested in barre and it was an amazing experience. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with such a welcoming energy. The kind woman at the front desk (sorry I didn't catch your name!) was so informative and explained all the different classes to me. And the instructor, I believe her name was Kat, was out of this world! The class was insane and very difficult, in a good way, and left us all feeling sore. I came with my husband and brother in law, and they made sure they felt comfortable and confident in a space that was so new to them. I also really appreciated they didn't really force us to sign up for any memberships or anything afterwards. A lot of gyms can be really pushy about that, and it makes me, and I'm sure many others, feel uncomfortable. But that was not the case at Pure Barre. Even though tonight's class was definitely a struggle for me, I'm so excited to come back and try out some more barre classes!! read more

I was super out of shape and was looking for an alternative to just going solely to the gym. I tried a whole bunch of gyms/studios and pure barre was just it for me! I joined Pure Barre 6 months ago today and I could not be happier!! I recently joined the Fall Fitness Challange opening my barre class experience to a level I didn't think I would appreciate and need as much as I do. My 50 minutes with Karla on Tuesday, Wednesdays with Hope, Align with Abbie on Thursday night and Lauren to end my work week (Mondays are my Fridays) gets me through the hectic day and work week. I have been at Pure Barre for about 4 months and have tried 3 of the 4 classes. I do like Empower and Define and can see results. The only issue I see repeatedly is smudged mirrors and human hair on the carpet. When I started, I would notify the desk person that they need to vacuum and would point out my spot. Out of those 5 times, only one instructor vacuumed. The other times I totally felt dismissed. I think it is gross when we are rolling around on the floor without a mat and then I have someone elses hair sticking to my face or arm. Ick. I even started rewording my request, and asked if I could have the vacuum, and was always told by the front desk person or instructor that they would do it. I no longer suggest to vacuum as again, as I don't think it helped. I wish the cleanliness of the mirros and floors would be prioritzied higher. read more

I loved my time at this studio as an active member. However, I experienced an injury outside of pure barre that has not prevented me from participating. Now armed with doctors instructions, I tell pure barre that I need to cancel my membership. I'm extremely disappointed in the unwillingness from pure barre management to work with me regarding this injury. I'm not canceling just because, or because I don't like the exercise, it's because I physically cannot do it due to an injury document by a medical provider. I've given time money and dedication to Pure Barre since moving here and it's just extremely disappointing to see that it won't give me the same level of support and respect. Charging me ridiculous amounts in termination fees. Really disappointed with this location. read more

I've been to quite a few classes at Pure Barre now and have been loving it. Having made the switch from my old studio in a very close proximately I am much happier here. The instructors are all super friendly and helpful. I like that they really pay attention to you and make corrections as needed to make sure you're getting the best workout you can. I joined in the midst of covid so I can't compare to how things were prior, but now the class sizes are about 8 people max, masks are required at all times, bins are provided for our personal belonging, and all equipment is sanitized after each class. They've been exceptionally clean and I haven't had any issues with getting into all the classes I want to. They also offer live steams with a membership which is helpful for those not wanting to wear masks or have a busy at schedule. After attending about 12 classes I am definitely seeing results and noticing myself getting stronger. Don't give up after the first few classes, it gets easier! read more

Absolutely love these guys. The studio has such a great feel to it, just got energy. I've done bar before at several studios in Los Angeles before moving to Vegas. I really enjoy pure barre in particular because I see results very quickly with their approach. It's definitely pricey, but I think it's worth it. When I first started with pure barre in Calabasas (same classes they offer here) I was about to leave on a trip for a friends destination wedding. In one month I had to purchase a new bridesmaid dress because I had lost a full-size and then some. I didn't mind at all :) out of all the years and months I've been doing yoga and hitting the gym, I never saw results like that. I also just like the femininity it brings out in me. I will definitely keep barre in my life because of how it makes me feel as well. read more

Ugh! I really really wanted to love Pure Barre as I was so excited to find a new studio for barre. However, after giving it a couple months, Pure Barre just wasn't the total package for me. Parking: Great! The studio is located in downtown Summerlin, no matter what time of day your class is, there is always parking. Studio: The studio is nice and clean but very small. In fact, it is so small that if you have issues or concerns, prepare for everyone in the "lobby" space to hear your conversation(s) with the staff. There were a couple of different occasions where I needed to discuss questions/concerns and I felt very uncomfortable speaking to the staff with other members standing around listening. They have cubbies but no lockers or anything like that so be sure to bring just the items you need for class. Instructors: PHENOMENAL! I have to say that of all of the instructors' classes that I took, they were all solid. If this review were based solely on the instructors, the rating would be totally different. Classes: Although the class formats are quite repetitive, I do like that the instructors switch up the workouts based on their own individual styles. If you are the type to like more upbeat cardio type of classes where jumping, yelling, and cheering etc. is involved, this is not the studio for you. All 3 class formats that are offered are great, but I would say Reform would have to be my favorite. Customer Service: The front desk staff are very friendly. However, had I known some things as far as being a member was involved up front, my decision to become a member would have been very different. I specifically asked in the Foundations class (the first class you take when they give you information to join) if there were the need to cancel, would it be simple with no questions asked, I was told it would be simple to cancel, to just give 30 days notice and that would be it. Instead, when it was time to cancel my membership, I was asked Why. In my personal opinion, that is none of the studio's business. I also was surprised after the first month of my membership as we were told for signing up we would have a rate at $111, however, after that first month, the membership for the 8 class package is actually $139. So if you plan to visit Pure Barre, be sure to ask questions up front so that there are no surprises. They also do not tell you that the 8 class package requires a 3 month minimum. Since I have cancelled my membership and do not plan to return, it feels as though I basically donated an additional $139 to this studio. Another issue that really left a bad taste in my mouth was when I purchased a tank and from where the hang tag was improperly placed, there was a hole in the tank. I had to address this issue in the studio and as I attempted to exchange the top, all of the tanks had tiny holes in them from the hang tag placement. Again, this is a very small studio so all the members waiting for the next class were in the same area as I tried to deal with this issue. The employee has always been really nice and welcoming to me but in that particular issue, I felt very uncomfortable with how that situation was handled. She made the comment to me "If it were me, I would just sew it since I'm poor". As a member, I should not have to sew up a hole on a $50 tank top because the hang tag was poorly placed. I was eventually refunded for that tank but that issue was actually another event that set the tone to me really deciding if this was the studio for me. I am not aware of how the other Pure Barre locations are, but, this studio lacks in DIVERSITY. If diversity is something that you look for in a studio with instructors, just be mindful of this. Overall, I am not going to tell yelpers, "don't go to this studio". Give it a try but give it long enough to experience all of the class formats and as many of the instructors as you can before making a decision. Most importantly, ask all the questions you have so that you are not surprised! I gave it a good 2 months, as I do not plan to return after my last couple visits just left me feeling blah when it should never feel that way after a workout. I don't agree at all with being charged an additional $139 for classes I will not be using, but it is what it is. All in all, it is a cute studio and wonderful instructors, but the cons outweigh the pros not making it worth my wild to keep Pure Barre in my schedule. As someone who hasn't worked out in a while due to injury, I wanted to take a good amount of classes (20 classes) before I left a review on my experience. If you are struggling to find a fitness studio with a welcoming atmosphere and a consistently challenging workout - I highly recommend trying the classes at this studio. I am new to Barre and I'm really enjoying their classes. There's a variety of classes offered throughout the day. I found this type of exercise strengthens me in ways I could never achieve with weight training or a circuit class at the gym. The instructors walk around and correct your form if you're not doing the exercise correctly to prevent injuries. There's lots of modifications to try where you get the same results. I appreciate how you do not have to be the most flexible person and that there are adjustments that can be made to accommodate your needs. I always get a great workout every time I go and find myself feeling motivated to challenge myself each time. This spills over into each and every class and all of the instructors positive energy is contagious! I always leave class feeling super strong and ready to conquer my day. A huge plus is their app to use to sign up or to cancel classes - super convenient! read more

Love this place! Great workout - many different types from Reform, Empower, Classic, and Foundations. All of the instructors have slightly different styles and nice personalities. If you do this 3x/week for one month, you will get into great shape, then just keep going... They hold a lot of fun nice community events like ladies' coffee, etc. Many of the ladies have children so it is fun to see them in the entryway and connect! I only have good things to say about this place. Remember, be on time! Or else you might miss class. read more

One of the biggest benefits of boutique fitness studios is the community that they build. This place is full of people who make you feel welcome the minute you walk through the door - whether you've been coming for years, or it's the first time. They offer "Foundations" for new clients who really want to hone in on the technique. They offer Empower for those that want to "amp it up" with cardio. Reform for that extra challenge on balance, core strength, etc. And Classic for those days you want that traditional isometric focused barre class. It took me almost three years to find a fabulous barre studio in Vegas when I moved here. I drive about 20 minutes to go to class here, but there is nothing that tones me up faster than barre. I saw an ad on Facebook to sign up for a free foundations class at Pure Barre and decided to check it out. I already work out at a gym and take spin classes and run and lift weights but wanted to try something different. I really enjoyed the class. They made sure to explain the studio thoroughly and explained all the moves and because it was a small group we could get individual attention to ensure proper form. It was a great workout. After the class they asked if we wanted to sign up and there was a discount on the first month. I signed up right away excited to add this to my fitness regimen. Everyone at the studio was so nice and welcoming it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend the foundations class to try out the studio and see if it's right for you. Just finished my third class. Love love love it here. Usually I'll go to these trendy hip places and it's ran by the most judgmental rude brats ever. This place is the exact opposite of that. They are SO nice and welcoming. They seem to genuinely be happy to see you when you come in, they remember your name, and they make the place so inviting. The classes PUSH you so hard. I'm usually sore for days but it's so worth it and fun. I leave looking forward to the next class. So far my favorite instructor is Moriah, she will work your ass and make it so fun. I hate writing bad reviews and only have once before, but hopefully this helps someone else. I signed up for the intro week of barre and had my first class with Jillian which was challenging, but I wanted to come back. I practice yoga about 5 times a week at a studio in town and had told her that and after my first class I was extremely sore. I had told her my schedule and the next time I was available there was a class called Reform (aka resistance). I asked Jillian if this was an OK class to take as a beginner and she assured me it was. Well, I go back to take the class and it was NOT a good class for a beginner. Right before we walked in I asked again and she laughed and was like, "well, you'll be fine." I made it through the class, but I felt sick and I was unable to continue yoga for a week. I feel like Jillian cared more about getting the sale then making sure I was taking classes that were at my level and ability. I would have rather her be truthful that this was an advanced class and I would have waited to take the regular one again. Overall, I felt uncomfortable and pushed past my limit in the class, and not in a healthy way. Again, I take vinyasa yoga so I like a good workout, but the way this was handled left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

If it wasn't for the Livingsocial deal, I would not have came to this place. I am glad I went; the workout is challenging, especially for your upper body and abdominals. It is normal to feel sore the next day, but it soreness hurts less the more you go. The instructors are also very nice and remember your face and name. The facility is also very clean and spacious. The only thing I recommend they improve is that they demonstrate all the moves, especially for newcomers who don't know what a proper tuck is. I had to look to others to copy their movements because the instructor simply said to do something without showing how to do it. During my first visits, I had no idea what some of the moves were and sometimes had to crane my neck to see what everyone else was doing. At the very least, the instructors correct you when you still fail to do the movements correctly, and they're nice about it. All-in-all, it's a good workout and I gained some muscle mass from only 10 classes. read more

I signed up for a first time free class. I'm in a budget so this was a great opportunity for me to experience something different without coming out of pocket. The class was great. The experience was great. Great for my first time. Challenging and got a great work out in. At the end they bring in the managers to get you to sign up. They literally brought out their price sheet and hand d it to you asking "Which package would you like?" I work in sales and recognized a lot of the tactics. It all felt like a gimmick. It was hard to leave because they didn't take my answer the first time. But that's sales for you, don't take no for an answer. It got to the point where I had to tell her I had $60 in my account. She said well we can give you a hug one get one free! I was disgusted. You think I'm going to spend the last of my dollars here? I'm a person, ma'am. I got bills to pay and need food to eat. Unfortunately signing up for overpriced packages isn't my top priority. I wish they were more understanding that when you offer a free class that might just be all the person can do at the moment. It also sounds like I'm not theirs ideal client anyway because I'm not a wealthy, summerlin mom looking for a way to stay active while the kids are at school. The teacher was great but they left a sour taste in my mouth overall. If they just let it be a great class I'd have considered coming back when the funds are more accessible or even doing drop in classes. Now I wouldn't recommend to anyone specially because of how they operate. :) read more

This summer will be four years since I have been going to this studio. Today I was once again reminded how much I love this method of exercise as a part of my lifestyle to stay fit. I was also reminded how incredible the instructors are. Today was an intensive plank day or aka...75 minutes of full body burn. I absolutely loved it! You would think after almost three years I would have mastered this type of exercise, however that's the best thing about this type of exercise it's NEVER easy. Victoria taught today. It has been awhile since I have been able to take one of her classes and felt excited to take it today. She was fierce yet encouraging! Kept a fast pace throughout class keeping you guessing what was to come next. She along with drill Sargent Jackie, Breezy calorie burning Moleeay, brisk dynamic Bria, energized and full of life Jillian, booty blaster Kaylah and owner Lauren who is tough yet spirited, together these woman are a key component in my fitness. I do cardio and circuit training in conjunction with pure barre. I STRONGLY recommend all fitness types man or woman to add this to your lifestyle. You will learn the mind body connection from pure barre that will even help you excel in your other types of workout. I really love this studio. It's located off of dessert inn and hualapi in a busy shopping center. Biggest downfall of the location is the parking... a lot of designated open spaces for all of the other businesses. I purchased the two week unlimited option. I was able to attend 6 times total. The studio is clean and the instructors are all very friendly. They have a small boutique like section located in the front where a variety of quality work out clothing are available for purchase. They also have different types of barre socks for purchase. I would definitely recommend buying a pair for better gripping purposes during the work out. The work outs are challenging. The warm ups are pretty standard, but difficult... lots of planking, stretching, and low impact cardio. After the warm up, thigh work begins. Get ready to shake, because it's really tough. Next comes the glute series... it's a lot of small isolated movements... that leave the muscles sore and worked. The ab series left me hurting for a week... in a good way. Longer leaner and meaner is what they go for in this studio... and if you are dedicated... those are the results you'll be sure to get. The only reason why I won't sign up? I work nights and they don't offer classes past 10 am on the weekends. I'm also in school, so there are a few days through out the week that make attending some of the class times more difficult. The monthly membership is competitively priced for a barre studio. If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I need more weekend and mid day class options though. I definitely recommend checking them out... even if you just buy a class package. I'll definitely be back to do some drop ins! read more

I moved from So. Cal in June and went from dancing 12+ hours a day to sitting in a chair at school 12+ hours a day. I needed a place to go to workout in a positive environment with no judgement, and I found the place! I go about 3-5 days a week and I feel stronger in my upper body and core then when I was dancing. I am so happy I joined Pure Barre. It has been a year and a half since I had my son. I had lost the weight but really needed to tone back up. Now after just a few months my stomach is flat my butt is lifted my legs arms and back look great ! I'm addicted. I look forward to every class because I see the results instantly. I have always been super fit. I have done or tried almost everything, including 70 days straight of bikram and 14 years of Pilates on the reformer 3-4 days a week not to mention weight training for years. PB is my all time favorite work out. The results are great the instructors are positive the classes fly by. Definitely worth more than just one try ! Try it ! read more

When I moved to LV from CA this past summer, I was worried that I would not find anything equivalent to my amazing experiences with the Dailey Method and the Bar Method. Sadly, I had cause to be worried. While Pure Barre is definitely a barre workout in the same tradition, it just doesn't compare to the awesomeness of the aforementioned barre workouts. Let me explain... Pure Barre workouts are extremely repetitive and - if I may be blunt here - very boring. Even if you encounter an instructor as enthusiastic and high-energy as Noelle (and she is the best of all the instructors here), the Pure Barre script is so routinized that it's ultimately a dull experience, especially if you take classes multiple times per week. In a related vein, the stretching exercises throughout the workout are inadequate compared to other barre workouts and also never vary. Ever. And some of the positions are just simply not good for one's body - and if you try to deviate from them, watch out because you might get barked at by an instructor or two. My last complaint has to do with the space itself. I find the concrete floors, the thin and dingy-colored industrial carpet, the lack of natural light, and the poor ventilation to all be very unappealing and antithetical to the whole barre workout experience - at least, as I've known it. All that to say that Pure Barre is a perfectly fine barre workout but it's not great. read more

I have always been a bigger girl- wide shoulders, wide hips.. you get the idea. I used to workout religiously in the gym lifting weights and doing high intensity cardio because I thought it was the only way for me to regulate my size and be healthy. I took my first pure barre class 2 years ago and was hooked. As a side note, they say it takes 10 classes for you to really see changes, so hang in there if you are still trying to figure out if it works for you. Healthwise, the total body workouts let me maintain a size where I am not "yo-yo ing" all year long. My core and lower back are so much stronger too. I used to experience stressful back pain from sitting all day at work, but not anymore :) This is a great studio where all the instructors are helpful, encouraging, and want to see you do your best. The instructors will help you and you can also ask Lauren (the studio owner) if you have other questions, she will always get back to you. If you are looking for a new way to change your body and your lifestyle in general- Pure Barre Vegas is definitely worth a try. See you at the barre! read more

I really enjoy taking classes at Pure Barre. I haven't exactly distinguished the difference between the Barre studios in the valley, but I can say that I LOVE the instructors! Noelle was the first instructor I had and since then I always look forward to her classes. The owners are so kind, sweet, and really great people. Pure Barre Vegas is the best!!! I was very nervous before going to my first class, as group fitness classes aren't normally my thing. However, the staff is so welcoming and helpful! They make it a priority to address everyone by name and encourage you during class, and also kindly correct your form when needed. The hour long class flies by. It's certainly tough, but I've never felt so good after a work out - such an endorphin rush. This class is good for all skill levels, shapes and sizes - as there are ways to modify the moves if you're not quite ready to take the next step. When I started, I could barely hold a plank for 10 seconds, and now I'm up to the full 90 seconds - you'll get there! I've been doing Pure Barre for about 7 weeks. Along with a regimen of clean eating and cardio, I've lost 18 pounds. I feel lean and toned, but best of all I feel healthy and strong. I'm not one to usually leave reviews, but I really believe in this studio and the classes they provide. If you are on the fence about giving it a go, just commit to one class, and you'll be hooked! read more
