I have been a sporadic member at D1 for approximately two years. Upon my return, I purchased a package without signing a contract or agreement, and I only received a receipt. Several weeks later, after obtaining medical clearance to resume working out, I attempted to schedule sessions, only to discover that my personal trainer was no longer with the company. This led me to request a refund. For nearly a month, I have been trying to obtain a refund of almost $6000. My efforts have been unsuccessful, including a visit to the location, where I was threatened with security and told that my situation had been escalated. I called 311, as I did not consider it an emergency, and a police officer arrived to mediate. Spencer misrepresented information to the officer, claiming I had a contract, which I never received. As a result, I am being forced to pursue civil action and incur additional fees, which I expect to be reimbursed for once I receive my refund. I am writing this review to caution others at this location to be wary of verbal agreements, as this company has demonstrated sneaky behavior regarding refunds. In the past, I had looked forward to visiting this location, but my experience has deteriorated significantly over the last few months. Their contract stipulates that they must reimburse clients if they cannot fulfill their needs, yet they are refusing to refund me. Despite my efforts to contact Taylor, the owner, via email, phone, and in-person visits, I have been informed that he is unavailable to speak with me. Consequently, I am being forced to take this matter to court. This facility used to gear towards children and the music they play there e is inappropriate for children and it's always dirty, and it smells. The place has truly changed since I first signed up....it's been extremely disappointing dealing with such unprofessional since making another large purchase. Spencer the manager is very unprofessional. Taylor the owner from what I am told is too busy to meet with me about this.

Just signed my daughter up here on a recommendation from a friend. My daughter has done two classes and I signed up for 40 more sessions. I loved how personable the staff are and what a non-threatening environment it is to learn. My daughter isn't very athletic, but it is important to me that she gets some level of fitness. Bonus that she found it fun. Love that they have core values.

I went to D1 for a women's self-defense class, and it was amazing! I'm so glad I attended. Everyone was so friendly and kind! I learned so many great moves from Kellan and Josh that I hope I never have to put to use. This was a great event for women! In addition to the self-defense class it was all about empowering women, self-care, self love, and we ended with a lovely meditation! The class was led by Serena and she was such a sweet and positive soul. The owner, Taylor, was just as awesome. She gave us a workout during our warmup and Alicia let it be known they aren't just any training center. They have Elite trainers with resumes and bodies to back it up. D1 offers group or individual classes. The best part is you can bring your young ones with you starting at age. Where was this place seven years ago when my son was seven I will definitely be back!!

Coach Canada is amazing. Highly recommend D1 to anyone. Totally worth it!! My daughter is getting amazing results after coming here.

For the most part, I enjoyed having my son workout here at D1 for the last year. We came here after meeting former manager Honda. Asked what my goal was for my son. He plays football/basketball. We started at the DEVO level and quickly moved up to Prep/Adult classes after about 5 months in. Starting off with the basic for any age athlete or non athlete is a must. Coach Emmanuel is amazing all around but he helped my son with his progress. He helped make the decision to move my son up. Thank you coach for that. As we moved up, our new favorite trainers were coach Kyle and young Aaron (not Canada Aaron). Training never skipped a beat. Both made it fun but pushed my son in his training. Owner never really warmed up to me until towards the end of our contract. She is a really good person who ultimately cared about my son's progress. But unfortunately manager Honda left and things changed. I'm speaking for myself and our experience. I felt personal training was king now and for me as the weekly payment customer we were treated differently for not paying the enormous amount of money for personal training. The coach Canada Aaron was big on trying to get my money for one on one training but I wasn't interested. He was my least favorite there because he was distant after I denied training with him. Maybe I'm wrong to some who like him but if you're there to make young and old better shouldn't matter if you got a lump sum of money for personal training or not. He never greeted us when we came in, during or after. My son didn't want to attend the classes he was teaching. Most of those classes didn't fit our schedule so we stuck with Kyle, Emmanuel and young Aaron. All in all D1 did help my son get stronger and more confident. Helped him during his fall season of football. I feel personal training is where the priority is. The cancellation process was easy but be aware they still charge you after contract is up. So make sure you check bank account after cancellation date.

So imagine our frustration when my fiancé and I drove 20 minutes to this Stephanie location at 6:00 AM, ready to get our workout in, only for him to be told he couldn't work out because he was wearing slippers. I completely understand having safety rules around footwear while actually exercising. What frustrated me was the inconsistent communication and enforcement. If this is a strict policy, it should be clearly communicated and consistently enforced across locations--not something you find out after driving 20 minutes to the gym and getting ready to start your workout. And honestly, I see plenty of high school and college-age members coming in wearing slides/slippers with their friends all the time, which makes the situation even more confusing. It was 6:00 AM. We made the effort to get up early, drive 20 minutes, and start our day with a workout. Being told at the door that my fiancé couldn't work out over his footwear was incredibly frustrating. What makes this even more disappointing is that we've been to multiple EōS locations and have never experienced this issue. If the rule is closed-toe athletic shoes, make it clear to members and enforce it consistently. We left frustrated--not because we don't understand safety policies, but because this could have been communicated much better. A 20-minute drive at 6 AM just to be turned away is not the way you want to start your morning. Shoutout to the front desk girl who showed no empathy. Like we're tired too, we're just waking up and just trying to set the mood for the day. Also, how you gonna turn us away but another guy walks in with sandals after us and is able to workout? Make it make sense.

I just stopped in to do my make up as I'm a girl on-the-go. sometimes I need to run into certain EOS gyms to get ready before going somewhere. That was the case today. though the parking lot seemed full coming into the actual gym seemed spacious & clean. To my surprise when I came into the women's locker room to do my make up I was greeted with lovely spa-like music versus aggressive, loud music, but you can find on the gym floor, which is to be expected but never have I been in any EOS where they were playing spa-like music so I absolutely love this touch. I actually wish other gyms would do this because some of the higher quality gym do this and it just makes your experience while being in the locker room pleasant versus loud and aggressive. Whoever is in control of the music at this location for this particular day, Kudos to you! this calming music plays a huge role in the overall experience of the guest. other location should take note.

The Vibe: Play (This is how I play in Las Vegas. )…read more The Guide: Elana Giordano * Vibe Vinyasa Class began with a choice. Choose a shape. And breathe. Then Elana dropped three sentences I won't forget. * "Your body is always listening." * "Use your breath to communicate with your body." * "Your body is listening to your thoughts." I'd heard: "Use your breath to connect to your body." I'd heard people say, "Your subconscious is listening." But never... "Use your breath to communicate with your body." Communication implies relationship. A conversation. Then came another invitation. Move however your body wants. Cat-Cow, if you'd like. Or something else. Music up. Free flow. Then music off. Elana taught a short sequence. Music up. Our turn. Again. Longer. Again. Longer still. By the final round... the sequence had moved beyond thought. Okay, Body, please remember. It did. One leg lifted. One foot stepped forward. One arm reached. The rest of me followed. (We were all in it.) The class was too. Breathing. Moving. Listening. Then... the long holds. Warrior I. Arms reaching overhead. Eyes lifted. Just as a conversation was about to start with my shoulders... Wilson Phillips started singing... Hold On. The entire room cracked up. Suddenly... five breaths with the front heel lifted... became fun. Then everything softened. Once again... we chose our own resting posture. Music up. All-4-One. "I Swear." People started humming. A few sang. Nobody seemed self-conscious. Just... happy. It felt like friends... playing. The Tribe: I've never taken another class quite like this. People talked. Laughed. Sang. Participated. Some communities meditate together. This one plays together. Space & Place: A whimsical mural greets you. Cubbies are topped with flowers & greenery. Yoga Room: Candlelit. Neon glow. Infrared heat. The artwork reflects the studio's philosophy. One framed piece tells the story of The Two Wolves: "The one you feed." Another reminds us... Yoga doesn't have to look so serious. The space is alive with... Creativity. Play. Growth. Behind the Vibe After class, I asked Elana how all this came to be. She told me she started with Bikram while studying abroad. Her practice evolved. So did she. Then... she opened a yoga studio. During a pandemic. The Takeaway: Field Note: Breath is one of the few conversations where changing your voice changes what you hear back. Great For: * Music-driven flow * Infrared heat lovers * Creative sequencing * People who want freedom inside structure * Playful adults * Anyone who thinks yoga should be fun
